This lower level is a Lovely 2 bedroom. Located at a very narrow point of Long Beach Island, close to the Loveladies border: 350 yards from the ocean beach and 150 yards from a rare life guarded bay beach. A short walk to fish markets, shopping and boating at Viking Village. A beautiful, scenic, and safe area for biking or a nature walk.

The bay beach provides breathtaking sunsets. Parents with young children love this beach for its combination of beauty, safety, and accommodation. If you prefer the ocean beach, head one block east to find one of the best ocean beaches on Long Beach Island.

LBI Family Reunion

The house was just as pictured on VRBO. It was extremely clean when we arrived.The location is great, close to the bay, the ocean, shops and restaurants. It was just two blocks away from my brother. His three sons and their families were there. My sister rented another home nearby for her family and grandkids. I had my son’s family and granddaughters. This was the first time we’d all been together since the beginning of the pandemic. We had a great time. We did have two minor problems with the house, however, the owner was extremely accommodating. She immediately drove from her home an hour and a half away so to solve the problems. We couldn’t have asked for better service. We’d be happy to return again in the future.

Location great but can not recommend property

I’ve been staying in LBI for four decades so I am familiar with houses/rentals and expectations. The location is ideal but I can’t recommend the house. I have shared the major concerns here with the homeowner and she did not respond to my message during my stay nor when she showed up the day we left about the air conditioning. I think it’s only fair that the listing be updated for accuracy as only half of the rooms have air conditioning units. The kitchen, bathroom and the nicer of the two living areas are not air conditioned. Even at night and morning with windows open it was too hot to sit in those rooms or cook. This needs to be on the listing. Furthermore, the house was not kept up/managed well. The gas grill was empty on arrival and the grill filthy. I communicated this to the owner who didn’t know where we could get gas and asked us to buy it. Yes she reimbursed us by check when we got home but not helpful to start off a vacation where we were planning to grill and had to research where to buy the gas, go buy it and hook it up. The kitchen was a disorganized mess with only one small fry pan, the appliances were missing handles (fridge), oven stovetop burners were crooked, drawers were like junk drawers (I sent a picture to owner during our stay because there was no grill brush to clean the grill). The sink pipes in the bathroom gave off a high pitched noise if you turned off the water totally. You get the picture- not kept up/ cared for. There were also dog cover blankets on the sofa?! Super strange.

Very well maintained and Rented the entire summer with no complaints but this renter, who Specifically wanted a room and table for her and her husband to work across in kitchen. Living room, ..!And 2 bedrooms with new air conditioners Nothing was true except tank was empty unintentionally Which I addressed ASAP Yes slip covers to address Potential bspills No pets allowed ever! Do not have air in kitchen will address . But really not necessary since there is a Florida room with surrounding windows which were not opened. No satisfying this renter.

Great for todders

Wonderful kids' bay beach with small playgroundfor grand child who visited for 2 days. Ocean beach a little hike, but beautiful beach -not crowded. The house is pretty well equipped, but listing should warn you to bring all your sheets, towels and paper goods--including toilet paper.

Serene location, cozy comfortable place

We really enjoyed our stay here in Barnegat Light. 1/2 block from Bay Beach as well as turtle nesting grounds and as osprey nest. Kids lucked into helping guide terrapin turtles across the road witnessing the egg laying. 5 minutes walk to ocean beach. Home is very comfortable and functional. Suited our needs well.

Great stay for a family at the shore.

We stayed at the property for a week with a young child, and it was perfect for our needs. Although the home is a little older, everything was orderly and clean and the owner was super friendly and answered all of our questions promptly. She even dropped by to say hi on our last day. Check-in and check-out couldn't have been easier, and you can't beat the location. It was great being minutes away from both the bay beach and the ocean side, and a short walk or car ride from Viking Village. We loved our time there!
