This is an awesome family vacation spot. So much to do, looking for peace and quite or if you just want to recharge your batteries. Just 200 steps to our beautiful and lovely beach. This spacious beach home has a relaxing deck. A enclosed outside shower. (Owner supplies linens and 6 beach badges).

Plenty of activities to keep you and the family busy all week. Bay Village is just 3 miles away. Fantasy Island (rides) and the Water Park are always great for all ages. Barnegat Light House is at the North End of the Island well worth the drive. Atlantic City Casino is 45 minute car ride. LBI even has bus trips for those who rather not drive.

Restaurants and other businesses within 1 1/2 miles Blue Water Café Kubel's Too, Nardi's, Pinky's Shrimp, Howard's, Terrace Tavern/Crab Shack, Roberto's, The Beach House, California Grill, Woodie's Burgers, MeltDown Ice Cream, Marvel's Bakery & Deli, WAWA convenience store, TD Bank, Fritzie's Liquors, Gulf station, and much more. The new ACME food store and Skipper Dipper are only 7 short blocks closest our house. 10 Plex Manahawkin Movie Theater is on Route 72 Cause Way.

Close to the Beach!

We had a great time and was so happy with what a short walk it was to the beach and that the beach was the perfect size! We loved sitting on the deck at night and looking at the stars and could hear the ocean as well!

clean and well stocked with all the tools and appliances you would need. sheets were clean. outdoor shower was awesome. Super quiet. close to the beach. owner was super responsive and nice. Sandy dog was super sweet. i would vacation here again hands down.

Week vacation in July

The location of this house was fantastic, a 5 minute walk to the beach - so we went back and forth all day which was great. The porch/deck was nice to sit on at night to have dinner and drinks, and to hang out. The AC worked great, we had some HOT days. Christine was easy to work with and very friendly and responsive. The property was definitely more of a beach cottage feel, which is why I gave 4 stars. The listing is accurate in the pictures, it is a little dated with the panel walls and the kitchen was dated in looks but super functional-everything worked great. We were very happy with our stay.

Amazing vacation rental

This house had everything you could want in a summer rental. Incredible location just a few houses from the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The outdoor shower was amazing. Any family would be very happy renting this well-kept, quiet gem of a house in a lovely section of Long Beach Island!

Overall descent place

Great location to the beach and Skipper Dipper. Description is accurate as are the pics. Few cons - Its not the most well maintained property. Paint on the outside deck is peeling and chipping. A simple retouch would do wonders. The ice maker doesn’t work. Can’t use fridge doors for storage because door won’t stay closed which limits the amount you can fit in the fridge. Grill had so much ash in it, it actually caught fire and burned our meal. The carpet is really dirty and needs to be cleaned, tons of stains. Outside umbrella won’t open/close or adjust. For $350/night we expected a better maintained property. Hosts are nice and responsive. And again, great location!

Perfect Getaway!

We went on our first family vacation with our two young children and greatly enjoyed our stay! The location was great and was very close to the beach which we loved. The house was nice and had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was spacious and great to wash off after the beach. Overall a great place to stay at LBI!

Wonderful get away!

Great location, perfect beach feel, our little family of four had a fantastic stay! Quick walk to the beach our kids didn’t mind, and easy bike ride to restaurants and shops! Chris was a wonderful host and so accommodating!

Amazing

Christine was the epitome of an incredible hostess. She was kind, informative and caring about our stay at her property while also giving us the space to enjoy as a family. She was there if we needed anything and always willing to give a recommendation or help if needed. Her place was more than comfortable, beautiful, convenient and everything we could have hoped for during our stay with our 7,4 and 1 year old. We will definitely be back!

Close to beach. Great for small family

Very close to beach, easy walk even for toddlers. Owner was quick to reply. Beds were clean and comfortable. This is not an upscale new-build beach house. It has more of a cottage feel. We are a family of 5...3 teenagers. It worked great for us. I’d recommend. It’s a gem.

Just what we needed!

Our stay was exactly what we needed. My family was looking for a cozy quiet spot close to the beach where we could spend the holiday weekend and that’s exactly what we got. The house had all the amenities that we needed for our stay and was close enough to the beach to allow for us to go back and forth as needed. Everyone had a bed of their own to sleep in and loved the bonus of the outdoor shower coming off the beach. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Great Vacation Stay

Property is in a beautiful area of LBI and only steps from the beach. The beach was quiet and so relaxing. Easy parking on property and quiet neighborhood. Rooms were great for us and ample room in living spaces. Looking forward to visiting again!

Location is perfect for walking to beach except for some stuff in room has little old

Everything is great except for some stuff has little old, but everything is still functioning. The room is clean. The attached simple bathroom located at 1st level is perfect for bath after backing from beach.

BEACHSIDE GETAWAY

We arrived at the Duplex to find impeccable arrangements. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and perfect for our family reunion. Between the two families we had the run of the entire duplex and our families were able to split the responsibilities of meals and laundry with great ease. The beach is just across the road and the town is a stone's throw away. Fabulous beach location!!

LBI Lover (Central Jersey)

Biggest fan of LBI since I was young. September is my favorite time of the year not to hot and still great weather. It is a lovely quiet neighborhood. Very close walk to beach. Skipper Dipper Ice Cream best on the island just 7 block walk. I like have the ACME food store just few blocks away always a nice walk in the mornings for the paper and anything else for a quick pick up. Home is lovely, the upstairs unit is well maintained. Plan on coming back in 2012.

It is our Happy Place! We have been on this island for years and just love it. My husband is now a retired police Sgt. My daughter and him spend all summers at the beach. As I continue to work and spend as much vacation time there as well.

Long Beach Island is so beautiful. The sand is so fine, beaches are peaceful. You won't find it any better than LBI New Jersey.
