* NO Elevator, 13 steps up your living space.
* Two bedrooms - QUEEN size bed and in other room 2 TWIN beds. Daybed (twin mattress or converts to king with the two twin mattresses this daybed is located in the front entrance living room)
* Includes pillows, quilts and throws.
* BRING YOUR OWN bed linens, bath towels and beach towels.
* House includes 4 Beach Chairs to use.
* Four beach badges are included. Under 13 years of age are FREE at bay and ocean beaches.

*** Home is stocked with STARTER; toilet paper roll, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher pod, hand soap, trash bag, shampoo, conditioner and body wash

PARKING: One reserved parking spot in driveway near front steps along with free street parking.

COOLING/HEATING: Heat/AC (mini-split units in bedrooms and living spaces) , Ceiling Fans.

ENTERTAINMENT: Smart TV, ** NO CABLE TV**, log into favorite streaming networks.

KITCHEN: Dishwasher, Keurig Coffee Maker, Ninja blender, Gas Stove, Microwave, fully stocked utensil drawer, pots and pans, crab pot, inside fridge filtered water spout, hightop table seats 6. NO washer/dryer on site at this time.

OUTDOOR SEATING: Covered deck on this level, table sits six. Front porch cushioned chair to people watching or sunrise coffee time.

GROUND LEVEL: Ground level private fenced in yard, sitting area in shade, Weber Grill on ground level in back yard. Outdoor shower, follow pathway around the side of house. Clothes line near outdoor shower.
Take the back enclosed stairwell from your back door for access to the ground level.

LOCAL AREA: Short walk to beach and bay beach (both lifeguarded) , so bring the badges.
The Mermaid Room for the best coffee/tea drinks, Bageleddi's for daily hot bagels, Ship Bottom Ice Cream, Mini Golf, Bike rentals (daily/weekly). Children's Playground at bay; sunsets are fabulous and only two blocks away.

NEARBY RESTAURANTS: Ship Bottom Shellfish, Arlington, Russo's (BYOB), Raimondo's (BYOB), LBI Hotel, Joe Pop's, Port Hole, Speakeasy Pizza, 25 Burger, Joey's, Mystic Meats, The Local and can't forget WAWA!

Free summer concerts on Thursday nights at the Ship Bottom Boat Basin area and on Friday Night on the beach in Brant Beach (Long Beach Township) at 68th Street. It's always a great time!!! Please refer to the Sandpaper for more details, a current edition of the newspaper will be in the unit.

The location is walkable to the beach, in the middle of the island (so easy drive to Barnegat Light and to Beach Haven), walkable to places like Ferrara’s for a donut or Bageleddis for a fresh bagel. The house is immaculate, with individual A/C and fan remotes, attention to detail designs (such as the barn door to separate the entry (where an extra daybed is) and the main kitchen/living room. The porch and outdoor shower were my favorite locations!! I will definitely be back.

This house is in a great location--LBI is narrow here so there are only 2 street crossings to either the beach or the bay. The front room and porch has visibility the entire way to the beach entrance; someone at home can easily monitor comings and goings. There are multiple restaurants within a few blocks. The house itself is absolutely lovely. Tons of windows, clean aesthetic, great finishing and thoughtful details. There is a full kitchen with cooking utensils and place settings plus an outdoor gas grill. One grocery trip and you're set. There are multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces to keep the good times going. Ken and Peggy were awesome. They were communicative, prompt, and set reasonable expectations. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Great hosts. The place was comfortable and in a good location, only 2 blocks from the beach and walkable to coffee shops, restaurants and bars. The hosts left us a gift card to a local coffee shop which was really thoughtful. It could be a bit more clean (floorboards dusty), but I'm a neat freak and have OCD when it comes to cleanliness. Additionally, while we went out to dinner most nights, when I made dinner home, there was no colander for pasta draining. The primary bedroom is on the street, so it can be a bit noisy and the hosts should inform guests that the queen bed mattress is very deep so you need slightly bigger sheets. There is also only a keurig machine for coffee, which isn't our favorite. All in all, it was a great stay and we would return.

Perfect LBI spot for our little family!!!

I cannot stress enough how perfect this spot was for our little family!! Our kids (almost 2 and 4) had the time of their lives!! Everything was beautiful and super clean. The beds were sooo comfortable and the shades were great for keeping out the bright sun for the kids. We really loved the layout of the place too. My husband and I were able to enjoy a drink on the deck or watch something on TV when the kids went to bed without disturbing them.We loved the convenient location to be able to walk to shops/restaurants, or the beach or bay! The kids loved the bay playground and we loved watching the sunset from there. Thanks for such a great stay and we hope to book again for next year!

Beautiful home & perfect location!

We loved the nautical decor, cleanliness of the home and location to beaches was excellent. Restaurants and stores within walking distance too! We highly recommend this beach property and would stay again! Homeowners communicated all details the day before check-in and were very kind & hospitable!

Beautiful stay in LBI

We had a wonderful stay here- the home is lovely and we especially loved the outdoor covered sitting area. This home is a short walk from the beach and Bay Area- perfect for a stay with kids too. It is off of one of the main roads in LBI so sometimes in the middle of the night we heard cars/people walking by outside but that wasn't a big deal and could be helped with white noise. Would definitely enjoy staying here again.

Great Rental

There were 6 of us that stayed here over the weekend. It was the perfect rental for us. The kitchen and living room were great areas for hanging out. They’re spacious and clean. The kitchen even has salt, pepper, and some other spices, in case you forgot some ingredients at home. We cooked and grilled on our first night and had the easiest time getting dinner prepped. The homeowners are really sweet and attentive. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Beautiful home!

Ken and Peggy were excellent hosts! The house is newly renovated and very clean. The house exceeded our expectations and feels much more spacious than what’s seen on the photos. Great location and walking distance to the beach many restaurants.

Amazing Stay at LBI!!!!

Ken and Peggy were fantastic hosts. The apartment was amazing - very spacious, very clean, and very nicely decorated. The location was great and very close to the beach as well as lots of restaurants and shops. We definitely recommend staying here and will be returning.

LBI Kite festival

The property as well as the hosts were so nice. I love the styling of everything. The daybed that turns into a king wasn’t used because everyone would walk past you when going to their bedrooms. We had 2 couples and a baby so we used the 2 bedrooms. Worked perfectly. We were able to check in early and enjoyed the extra time there. I would definitely stay at this house again.

Great place to stay in LBI

The property was great and the owners were wonderful. We came down for a surf weekend. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Playing games at the kitchen table was a blast, a nice little 2nd floor balcony to enjoy breakfast and coffee in the morning. And the owners were a pleasure to communicate with. I definitely recommend this property to others.

Revisit to LBI

We were in NJ for family wedding & our older daughters wanted to visit LBI. The home in Ship Bottom is remodeled and completely updated. The home was immaculate, beds were so comfortable and Peggy was a wonderful host. Easy walk to beautiful beach and access to all activities on LBI. We loved this home so much we were sad to leave. Thank you Peggy for letting us stay in your gorgeous home and for being such a great host!

Wonderful Vacation!!

Ken and Peggy were such wonderful and accommodating hosts. The house was incredibly clean, beautifully decorated and close to so many shops and restaurants as well as the beach and the bay! We had such a relaxing and wonderful time here. Would highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back!

End of school year

We needed a quick stay somewhere, having started or planning late and having a limited amount of time. Peggy and Ken were very accommodating and we really appreciated it. The place was so cute-modern, clean, really cool decorations, comfortable for a 24 hour turnaround time. We loved sitting outside and we also loved the entire inside of the place. Short walk to the beach and to cool shops. We definitely would want to stay here again!

Cozy beach bungalow steps to the beach!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! It is beautifully decorated as you would expect a beach house to be. Very spacious, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and a cool backyard with string lights and furniture to hang out in! Large grill and outside shower. You can see the entrance to the beach from the house, it only took us maybe 5 minutes to walk to it. The bay was a bit farther down but it's a 30 second drive with available parking. Also walking distance to a few restaurants/food spots. It's not in the most beachy-feeling location due to a huge bank and the police station across the street and very loud construction also across the street that started at 6 AM every morning, but that is no fault of the house owners- we just turned the AC up to drown out the noise. Please note that the main bed is only full size- so my boyfriend and I could not both fit and sleep comfortably in it, he had to sleep in one of the bunk beds which was weird since we were on a romantic trip together yet had to sleep separate. I would definitely recommend upgrading the bed to a queen if possible in the future. It's street parking which we never had an issue with and other than construction, the street is quiet with not a lot of car traffic. We definitely plan on returning in the future and would recommend this house to couples like us!

Great Weekend with Friends Fishing

Ken and Peggy are great hosts, the property is well kept, clean, and close to everything. The second time back and enjoyed ourselves fishing and actually catching some fish this year....you can't go wrong here. The photos are accurate and the bungalow is very nice.

Al & Betty bought their dream beach bungalow in the late 1980's and even though now it may look alot different then when they purchased it; the love of fishing, beach days and family still remain strong!
We love sharing our home to fellow beach goers no matter what season! It is always a pleasure to host first-time visitors to LBI along with returning guest! We love recommending local small businesses nearby so just ask if you have a question! We respect everyones privacy as long as they treat our property with love and kindness. Cheers!

The house is totally renovated with lots love and hard work! We gave our "girl" a raise, and Betty & AL's little bungalow now has new life and better views. She loves having the house filled with fun guest who take good care of her. We are on a corner but our back yard sitting area is fenced in to make things cozy and private . Another best benefit about our location is we have many of good neighbors up and down our street who will welcome you with smile and a friendly LBI "hello". Plus there's a bank nearby along with the Ship Bottom police station. Walking distance to many spots; here's a few of our favorites; The Mermaid Room, Bageleddies, Shore Good Donuts, The Port Hole, Ship Bottom Shellfish, The Arlington, Russo's, and so much more! Location is key and Happy Ours is prime!
