Paradise in the hills of Crete!!

Absolutely stunning villa high above the beautiful groves of Olive and lemon trees with a view of the Aegean as well. The pool was a complete hit with the kids and we made dinner in a couple of nights with the gas grill and watched the gorgeous sunsets. Sandra and Fani did all they could to make our stay an easy one including making a reservation at a local taverna Polipou House (highly recommended) as well as bringing us homemade wine, cheese and fruit for our stay. Plenty of room to spread out for the 5 of us and so very clean and fresh! It was hard to leave it for the day to go anywhere because we all enjoyed it so much! Thank you to Sandra and Fani for their lovely hospitality!!

The property was simply faultless as was the Properties owners intent on us having a great stay

My wife and our 2 children (ages 3 and 10 months) have just returned from a fantastic stay at Roupes Villas, which was largely to do with the villa itself and indeed the Property owners and management. The villa itself has varied selection of seating/dining areas, all modern appliances and outstanding views. The Pool was a massive hit with all, as was the BBQ. I am very grateful we took Alexis (Property Manager) advise with the villa we stayed in as the water feature to the side of the villa was a massive hit with my eldest son. The supporting staff (Cleaners, Maintenance etc.) were very friendly and helpful and Miss Fani the owner was nothing short of excellent in her approach to our stay. As a family our most favourite holiday and we will certainly be returning.

Fabulous villa with amazing views and service

We stayed there for 9 nights last September. The villa is excellent with amazing views from all the terraces, just a pleasure to have your coffee in the morning looking at the view and dinners with fabulous sunsets. The pool is great and looked after every morning. Facilities are excellent in the villa, we used the gas BBQ every day and really appreciate the cleaners coming every 3 days. The communication with Alexandra was excellent too, we were able to arrive a day earlier than planned (flight cancelled) and able to stay until 3pm on our last day. Alexandra also gave us lovely leaving presents. The villa is also well located, 1h30 from Chania airport, about the same to Heraklion and Knossos and 50mns drive to the south of the island. The local town, Rethymno, is great. All in all, a fab holiday, villa, island, people, we’ll be back!!

Amazing!!!!

We stayed 6 nights at Roupes Villas and had a fantastic time!! The host (Sandra) was wonderful and made us feel completely at home. We were welcomed with a basket of honey, bread, fruit, coffee and other necessities. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. The views are breathtaking.!!! The area is peaceful and quiet, but within a short driving distance to the main motorway. A “must-do” experience is dinner at nearby Poliou House on a Thursday night for their music and dance show. Excellent food, reasonable prices, and a fantastic display of Greek music and dance that lasted almost 3 hours!!! Overall a fantastic vacation that far exceeded our expectations!!!!!

Home away from home!

Villa exceeded all expectations! We felt well looked after by the owner and her team. On our arrival we were met and there was food and water provided for us, so appreciated as we arrived late at night. Villa and pool were amazing with vegetables given to us every few days from the gardener. We can't rate it highly enough. Thank you so much!

Wonderful calm place to enjoy Crete and life in general

Everything was just perfect. The villa has everything you might need and if there is something missing anyway you are free to ask the local representatives of the landlord at any time. We had the most outstanding welcoming and we were literally provided with everything you need for a relaxed stars of our vacation - including some homemade raki :) The service was flawless and the gardener took care of the outside facilities every single day! Additionally we were surprised by finding a basket full of fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden as soon as the gardener saw something became ripe on the trees and bushes. To supermarkets, mini-markets, the local butcher and bakery you have to take a 10min ride by car. But in advance you will get truly fresh food and meet very friendly and welcoming locals.

Wunderschöne Woche

Ich habe meine Hochzeit in Rethymnon mit meinen 30 engsten Freunden gefeiert. Zu diesem Zweck haben wir uns alle 4 Häuser gemietet. Alles was ich sagen kann ist, dass es ein wunderschöner Villen-Komplex ist. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend und der Service exzellent. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wunderschönes, ruhig gelegenes Anwesen

Unser 11-tägiger Aufenthalt in den Roupes Villas war absolut großartig. Das Haus und der Außenbereich mit Pool und Badeteich ist sensationell schön. Alles ist modern eingerichtet und sauber. Die Lage in den Bergen ist super ruhig und entspannend. Mit aktuellen Navi ist auch die Route kein Problem, am Ende ist es auch ausgeschildert, Mietwagen ist aber Pflicht. Was auch sehr positiv war ist die Gastfreundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Betreiber. Diese sind immer erreichbar und helfen stets schnell und freundlich. Das hat uns wirklich beeindruckt, an dieser Stelle nochmal ein großes Dankeschön. Wir werden bestimmt nochmal wiederkommen, weil uns auch die Insel ans Herz gewachsen ist. Wir haben hier definitiv unseren bisher schönsten Urlaub erlebt. :)

Amazing place, villas, panorama view and staff!

It was wonderful experience staying in Roupes villas! We have rented all 4 villas for our group travel. So we came 20 ladies there and all of us were amazed by beauty of villas, environment, panorama view - which is totally beautiful and amazing, it was so calm and quite there, everywhere so green and clean! All ladies where telling - it looks much more better than in photos! This is amazing feeling when you get more then you expected! Special thanks for such careful owners, who were also taking care of us a lot before our stay and during it! Big Big thanks for manager Alexia - she were communicating with me all the time before we came and helping us a lot with all 20 ladies wishes and asks, she helped us a lot by organising our catering, our free time, our trips in Crete and etc. She is great and really helpful manager! Many thanks for local family taverna, for such a tasty food! Maria was bringing for us home made food from local family taverna twice a day for all ladies, also she brought (once I asked) 4 totally giant watermelons!!! The owner of taverna and Maria (him daughter) organised for us last dinner in the garden - brought big table and chairs for all ladies, Maria created a decor of the table and made just beautiful table with great food on it (from taverna) and also - home made wine! Also Maria (lady from family taverna) is doing totally amazing massages! She was coming to us with all equipment everyday and relaxing us with her wonderful hands! Giant thanks for so kind cleaning lady - our home always were clean, fresh and well cared! She was doing just great job! No complaints, all experience in Roupes villas were just perfect! Definitely we are coming back soon there with another group of ladies!!! If to tell a little bit about villas interior and exterior - all was totally beautiful and stylish and we liked it a lot! The garden and pool environment was exactly what we wanted for our free time! Ladies every morning were waking up earlier to have a morning swim before lessons and they just loved it! When our stay was going to the end - all ladies where telling that we had not enough time to enjoy all the facilities we found there! Thank you again for all of you who made our stay there just wonderful and see you again very soon! Best Regards for all your team from Vaida and her team!

Villa très belles prestations

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa confortable, très bien équipée, et aux prestations de qualité !! Les photos sont réellement conformes à la villa. La vue est très dégagée : mer au loin et champs d'oliviers à perte de vue. L 'endroit est très calme, idéal pour une semaine de repos ... De plus, nous tenons à remercier Alexia et les propriétaires qui nous ont attendu le soir de notre arrivée et pour leurs attentions tout au long du séjour !! Nous penserons à eux lors de notre prochaine excursion crétoise... Famille H.

Perfectly located at the foot of Crete’s highest mountain range Psiloritis, with stunning panoramic views of Crete’s northern coastline and breathtaking views of the landscape. Ideally located in the center of the island, it serves as a perfect base from which the main attractions Crete has to offer can easily be reached. Rethymno town is easy to reach, being only 18km from Roupes. It is about a 15-minute drive along the highway to reach the town center.
