The Hemlock Superior Chalet is our most popular Chalet to rent! Featuring a spacious open vaulted ceiling and a queen size bed (along with a futon sofa) and a fully equipped kitchen. Located in a beautiful mountain setting it features a main living room with fireplace and a dining area with family table. The chalet comes complete with a fire pit, outdoor seating and a screened-in porch.

We are coming back!

The cabin was wonderful and exactly as the pictures showed- even nicer in person. The management was helpful and responsive and it was a cozy place to spend a weekend away.

Winter Cabin

This property was better than we would have ever hoped for. We enjoyed it so much we skipped a day of climbing just to sit in by the fireplace. You are missing out if you pass this place up

Great weekend even in the rain!

My partner and our pup had a a great time exploring the area. We did hikes everyday! There are many trails just a short walk away. Even though it rained the hikes were still nice bc we were covered by the trees and the place had a fire pit and fireplace to warm up by. The place was clean and quiet and served it’s purpose. We were comfortable and happy to stay here.

Cabin was just as described. Very clean, everything worked properly. It was private and quiet even though there were people at the Aspen cabin too. Communication with Yann was timely. We got there half an hour early, texted to see if we could go into the cabin and he responded right away to say yes. We hiked for several hours and were ready to relax so this was appreciated. We will definitely request to rent again in the future. I was there with a friend, but I'd like to return with my family. Thank you!

Wonderful Cabin!

This cabin was just perfect for the 2 of us! A cozy cabin, nestled at the rear of the property with the woods for your back yard. The Hemlock is a cozy, nicely decorated cabin that checks all the boxes! The separate living room section in the open concept cabin has a beautiful wood burning fireplace and is so cozy! Very comfortable Queen bed and full bathroom with plenty of room! Fully equipped kitchen if you're into cooking on vacation (I'm not)! The Hemlock is just a few minutes drive from everything, but far enough away to hear nothing but total silence when you step out of the cabin. Communication with the owners was one of the best I've experienced. From contactless check in & out - to immediately responding to my request for another blanket! The area has plenty to do and plenty of great places to eat nearby. The Adirondack Mountain Coffee Cafe 6 miles away in Jay, has a breakfast that can't be beat. Don't hesitate, and enjoy!

nice place to stay

The chalet was very clean, beautiful and tastefully decorated with a bit of a rustic Adirondack feel. We went to celebrate our 40th anniversary and were disappointed to find out after we arrived that most of the area businesses and restaurants are closed due to "fall break", including the Wilderness Inn, where we stayed. Also, the night of our arrival, we were contacted by the owner that there was no power at all in Wilmington due to a storm and they could not get candles or battery operated lanterns because nothing was open due to the outage. We wished he had notified us earlier in the day, so we could have brought these supplies with us from home, instead of having to stop and buy them, spending an extra $60 we had not anticipated. We were surprised these items were not already available in his rentals since power outages can happen at anytime. He did provide free wood for the fireplace and everything worked out fine. The power came back on late during the night. I would recommend staying in this Chalet, but beware during the month of November, the Wilderness Inn restaurant and many other businesses are closed.

All around excellence

We had an excellent stay, even had our dog , a schnoodle with us, so much to do and see. Accommodations were above and beyond, owners were very helpful. We did a lot of day hikes and visited a lot of areas, great place to stay, I would recommend 100 percent

Weekend retreat

Great little cabin fully stocked with everything you need! Tucked just far enough away from your neighbors and the main road you truly feel un-plugged. My fiance and I stayed for the weekends with our 2 dogs. We have stayed at a lot of rentals and definitely had the easiest check-in/out process here as well as great communication. We will be back!

Last minute getaway

Wonderful! We needed a quick getaway with our dogs and loved this place! Only thing that was annoying is we had to turn the valve off to the toilet when not in use as it kept making a knocking noise, and lots of dust in higher areas. Wouldn’t have noticed if I didn’t look up when showering.

Ideal Stay in a cozy cabin

We wished we’d booked more days. The cabin has a fire place, fire pit and barbecue. A full kitchen and bath. Ample amenities that made our stay feel like home. The owners were thoughtful and the location convenient to hiking, fishing, kayaking and all the impressive nature of the Adirondack. We will book a stay again. to see more of the sights.

We had an excellent stay and we will definately be back.

There were 3 adults and two adults that stayed in the cabin. We had more than enough room and everything was clean. The cabin was supplied with everything that we needed. We were there during extremely hot weather and the 3 fans kept us all cool. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

This cabin was perfect and cozy for two. It was very neat and clean with everything we needed. The queen bed was very comfortable. The cabin was close to all we came to see.

Great Stay!

Well appointed, very clean charming private cabin on the back of the property! It was lovely to have a fireplace to use every evening. The location was great being 15 min from Lake Placid and 30 min from the Loj trailhead for the high peaks. We will be back for sure.

Absolutely incredible

This was hands down the coolest experience I’ve ever had in the Adirondacks. The cabin was absolutely perfect. The bathroom with a REAL shower was really a game changer. The kitchen area was ideal for a small family or couple while being equipped with all necessary cooking tools. Having cable was also great since it did rain at night and it was perfect to unwind with. The front porch was split between screened and open seating. The screened had a separate door perfect for relaxing and enjoying all your meals on the provided table and chairs. We didn’t make use of the fire pit due to the rain but it is available. While this is almost a community of cabins, there is still a strong sense of privacy/surrounded by nature.
