The villa combines luxury with natural materials, mainly stone. It consists of one floor. In the interior, there is a fully equipped kitchen with comfortable dining area and a living room. The decoration of the villa combines classicality and modernity.

There are two bedrooms, one with double bed (sleeps 2 guests) and one with two single beds (sleeps other 2 guests). Both bedrooms have en-suite bathroom and a spacious jacuzzi. All spaces in the villa are air-conditioned.

In the exterior you will find a large pool, offering a breathtaking view of the sea and the mountains. There are also comfortable modern sun beds and a large wooden table with wooden chairs.

This space enables you to spend unforgettable moments every hour of the day, with your friends or your family and experience absolute relaxation.

Overall, this villa is spacious, well-presented and in an excellent location for a specific type of holidaymaker. The sunsets are breath-taking, the night sky is spell-binding, the pool is refreshing and the accommodation is comfortable.

Amazing Villa, with stunning sunset views!

An amazing Villa, with the most beautiful views of the sunset in an unspoiled village where after one visit at one of the local tavernas, they recognize you. The owner Vassilis was quite available for questions on the property or the area and his recommendations were very adapted to the desires of our family. We hope to be able to return soon. Sfinari is the perfect location to visit some of the most beautiful beaches of Crete (Balos, Elafonisi, and Falassarna were our faves).

Superb Luxury Villa

We came with high expectations of this villa from the pictures and previous reviews. We weren't disappointed at all. The location is completely private and the views of the surrounding mountains and sea were simply breath taking. To be honest we only left the villa to get supplies as we had everything we wanted for a relaxing luxury holiday. Many thanks to Vasilis and his wife for making us feel welcome and sharing there lovely villa.

Beautiful villa in a great location

The villa has everything you need for a really comfortable stay. It is clean and modern with two lovely en-suite bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room. The pool is great, with a wonderful view of the bay below with amazing sunsets. The drive from Chania airport is straightforward and Kissamos, the nearest town with large supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants/bars is about 20 minutes away. The villa is in the lovely quiet village of Sfinari - all you can hear are the waves and the local sheep. It’s a ten minute walk down the hill to the small beach with 3 tavernas and free sun beds and a five minute walk up to the village centre with 3 more tavernas and a couple of shops. We had lovely meals and such friendly service at Antonio’s on the village road and also from Yiannis and his family at the Thalami taverna on the beach that we didn’t really eat anywhere else, although all of the restaurants have had good reviews from other guests. We loved the shingle beach which was never crowded and, although we drove to the famous and beautiful Elafonissi beach one day, it was too busy and commercialised for us and were happy at Sfinari. Above all, Vassilis our host was great. We arrived late evening to an absolutely delicious home-cooked meal of stuffed peppers to pop in the oven to reheat and salad, cheese, bread, wine - a lovely warm welcome. There were also little things such as dishwasher tablets, salt, pepper, herbs, olive oil etc which mean you don’t have to go out shopping when you’re only staying for a week. Vassilis helped us to find our bearings and had great advice about places to visit. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Super Urlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Ausblick war einfach toll und der Ort war sehr ruhig, genauso wie wir es wollten. Die Ausstattung der Villa war sehr gut und die Sauberkeit war auch top. Wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder kommen.

Traumhaus in toller Lage

Die Lage des Hauses ist toll, viel Privatsphäre, Ausgangspunkt für Spaziergänge und Wanderungen. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, wenig Touristen, trotzdem gibt es einen Strand und Tavernen, die man zu Fuß erreicht. Der tolle Falasarna Strand ist auch um die Ecke....die Terrasse lädt zum Aufenthalt im Freien ein, der Pool ist wirklich groß. Die Küche ist sehr geräumig, der Wohnraum ebenfalls, das gemeinsame Kochen und Grillen macht einfach nur Spaß. Vassilis ist supernett, ein Highlight ist der gefüllte Kühlschrank zur Ankunft.

Wundervolle Tage im Westen Kretas

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in der Villa. Die Villa selbst ist sehr gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Vassilis ist ein sehr netter Vermieter mit vielen guten Tipps. Ein selbstgekochtes, sehr leckeres Essen seiner Frau und ein paar Leckereien waren als kleine Überraschung schon im Kühlschrank bereitgestellt. Der Pool ist unbeheizt, war aber zu unserer Zeit schon gut temperiert. Der Ort selbst ist sehr klein, lebt von der Landwirtschaft und um einen Einkauf zu planen, muß man schon mind. 20 Minuten Wegzeit in Kauf nehmen. Da wir täglich unterwegs waren, konnten wir gut auf dem Weg die eine oder andere Kleinigkeit einkaufen. Die Anwohner des Ortes sind sehr nett und zugewandt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in dieses Haus gehen, da wir die totale Einsamkeit sehr mögen.

Ein Traumurlaub geht zu Ende

Als wir an der Villa ankamen und diese unbeschreibliche Aussicht das erste mal genießen konnten, war es um uns geschehen. Das übertaf alles, was wir bisher hatten und wir verbrachten eine sehr erholsame Woche im August mit unseren beiden Kindern (15+11). Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Bis zum Sunset Beach Sfinari sind es keine 2 Minuten mit dem Auto und hier bekommt man sogar die Liegen und Sonnenschirme (!) umsonst. Am Strand gibt es 3 Tavernen und man kann abends den herrlichen Sonnenuntergang genießen. Falarsana ist ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, aber für uns war es hier viel schöner. Man braucht aber definitv ein Auto zum Einkaufen ins nächste Ort - der hiesige Minimarkt hat nicht viel. Als wir ankamen, fanden wir extra für uns ein eigenes zubreitetes Gericht, Getränke usw. vor! Die Villa lässt keine Wünsche offen, der Infinity Pool is ca. 10m lang und hat im Eingang einen flachen Bereich von ca 90cm weiter hinten sind es ca 145cm tief. Die unverbaute Aussicht auf das Meer ist atemberaubend und man kann sich gar nicht satt sehen. Es gibt vier sehr bequeme Liegen und ein Tisch mit 6 Stühlen - ein Holzkohlegrill steht auf der Terrasse zur Verfügung. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und es ist alles- ja alles - da, was man braucht. Es gibt 2 Schalfzimmer und 2 Bäder und alles ist einfach da und funkltioniert. ... einfach ein Traumurlaub. Wir kommen wieder.

Tolles Haus, gastfreundlicher Vermieter. Es hat alles wunderbar gepasst. Man ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß am Strand, wo es 2 Tavernen gibt. Chania erreicht man in 1 Stunde.

Superbe maison avec piscine et vue !

Une maison au calme, avec une superbe vue sur le soleil couchant, une piscine à débordement, un BBQ. Mis à part la vue et la piscine, il est a noter l'équipement et la décoration de la maison. C'est vraiment un très haut niveau, tout est somptueux et meublé avec gout. Si il faut trouver un bémol, c'est la plage juste en dessous qui est un mélange de gros galets et de sable. Par contre cette plage a le soleil couchant, pas de foule et des restaurants. En résumé, réservez, vous ne regretterez pas!

Wonderful Villa by the sea!

Villa Sfinari is one of our favourite holiday bookings ever. The house is fantastic, very well equipped with everything you need, tastefully decorated, and comfortable The pool is great, long enough to swim lengths. It's a super view, looking out over the sea - great for watching sunsets. The cleaning service, two times per week both indoor and out, meant the villa stayed tidy and we always had clean linens. Both Giorgos, during the booking process, and Vassilis during our stay couldn't have been more helpful. The welcome dinner after a full day's travel was delicious! We especially enjoyed the 5-10 minute stroll down to the beach tavernas for grilled fish; especially Thalami and Sunset Fish Restaurant.

Gemütliches Haus mit Privatsphäre

Perfekt wenn man unter sich sein möchte und den Weitblick genießt. Es ist auch sonst alles da was man brauchen könnte (Nespresso Maschine, großer TV mit Netflix…). Restaurants vor Ort sind ok, aber ca. 15 Min weiter in Platanos gibt es sehr viele gute. Kleiner Mini-Mini Markt vor Ort für den Notfall. Zum Wohlfühlen! Einzig die beiden Einzelbetten im kleinen Zimmer sind wirklich sehr, sehr hart (aber vielleicht mögen das ja einige). Vielen Dank an Vassilis und Georgios. Es hat alles super geklappt.

Erholsame Tage in Sfinari

Wir wurden extrem gastfreundlich enpfangen, mit gefülltem Kühlschrank und leckerem Abendessen. Giorgos ist ein super Gastgeber, spricht perfekt deutsch und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Empfehlenswert!
