Majestic Sandcastle! Oceanfront-Pet Friendly! 4 King BRs -1 queen sleeping area

This grand ocean front home `The Majestic SandCastle` is fully equipped for great vacations year round.. Spectacular ocean views of sunrise over the beach and the Folly Beach Pier.

If you have stayed here before, Please note that the sleeping arrangements have been updated. There are four bedrooms with one king bed each and one other room with a queen bed. - The house sleeps 10.

One master king suite with whirlpool is located on the first floor. Up the traditional stairway to the second floor is a second master king suite with luxurious bath with whirlpool and separate shower. It has a sitting area with entertainment center and private ocean front deck with lounge seating. Also on the second floor is another king bedroom and a queen sleeping area which share a full hallway bathroom. The third master king suite is up a spiral stairway in the studio and has a half bath.

This home has extremely spacious living quarters and perfect for multi-generation families! The first floor includes hardwood floors, two full kitchens for maximum cooking options! Also on first floor is two living rooms with seating and TVs, 3 dining tables/areas, coffee bar, fireplace and large sunroom with TV and desk area. Laundry room with utility sink included in laundry room.

Outside, there is ample ocean front deck area with seating, table with umbrella, rinsing shower, hoses, grilling area and picnic tables. You can`t beat this house for the ultimate beach stay. It is perfect year round for family gatherings!

WE ARE PET FRIENDLY! PLEASE SELECT THE `PET` BUTTON. Maximum 2 dogs, 50lb. each - contact owner if your pet is over 50 lbs. , we do not accept cats or birds. The pet fee is $95.00 plus tax and covers both dogs. Please let me know the breed/s and weight/s of your dog/s upon booking.

We are pet friendly with a pet fee - max two dogs (only). If weight is over 50 pounds contact us for approval.

We provide beach chairs and beach towels - Anything left on the beach overnight will be removed by beach patrol. - Fill any holes in the sand each evening so that people and turtles are safe.
Lights on the Front Beach and under the house must be off by 10PM during May 1st to October 31st for turtle nesting season.

Amazing view of ocean. Very well furnished, everything we needed for cooking and grilling. There were 10 of us and it wasn’t crowded, plenty of room for everyone. And a beautiful sun room and deck. We will definitely return.

The house is spacious and light-filled with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The location on the beach is stunning — we were there the 3rd week of September and felt like we pretty much had our own private beach with direct access. Sunrises while sitting in the deck were spectacular. We will return again. If you’re considering this rental, just book it!

Beautiful views of the ocean and the pier. The house has so many places to sit and enjoy the views or have some quiet time. The decks are wonderful with great furniture. The house was clean and anything you could ever imagine needing was provided. The paintings and decor so beautiful. Very relaxing!! We really enjoyed our stay. Great communication with Alicia too.

We had a magical family vacation at Majestic Sandcastle.The check-in process was seamless, the kitchen was well stocked, and the house layout was perfect with a large sunroom overlooking the ocean. The house was nice and clean, and all amenities were as described. Alicia was the perfect host. We loved it.

Our Vacation Home with a beach in the backyard

This home is amazing. It's beautiful, has absolutely everything you could possibly need plus, according to my grandson, a beach in the backyard! It's literally steps from the house The decks are expansive, there are massive amounts of seating outside and inside, the beds are comfy, the house is clean, not a speck of sand anywhere, so much kitchenware, absolutely.nothing you could want for. The hostess' communication is spot on, just enough that you know she's there if needed, but not intrusive, house rules communicated clearly We SO much enjoyed this vacation. My grown daughter told me every day how much she loved it. My aforementioned 4 year old grandson told me when we got home, " Why are we back at this house? I want to live at the house with the beach in the backyard!" Thanks so much!!

Best Family Trip

When we were traveling back home from Folly in October 2024, we planned our May trip and wanted a beach front home. We were fortunate to find Majestic Sandcastle. It is on the beach, private boardwalk and amazing views. The beach especially 7 blocks from the pier was not crowded. The home had more than enough space for our group of 6. Each couple had their own room with ensuite. The room off the kitchen has their own living area with a closed door, kitchen and a spiral staircase to upstairs bedroom. The master upstairs has a private balcony with a roomy living area. The kitchen had everything we needed. One of the best features for us was the elevator with three of us having some mobility issues but it was perfect to unload and load cars. We also brought our two corgis and greatly appreciated the lockable gates on the deck and boardwalk. The potty area is under the deck and was perfect them. Alicia answered all my many questions promptly, always available since she lives across the street. We were very sad to leave but will be back.

Perfect stay for graduation

We rented the house for our son’s college graduation and it was perfect. We had an extended beach stay so we could enjoy down time before the craziness before graduation and the house and location was perfect. The bedrooms were great, endless windows overlooking the water, the deck, the kitchen was well stocked, and the elevator was an added bonus for my elderly mother!!If I had one wish it would be that there were some beach games like Spikeball or something else but honestly we could have brought that if we had room. Overall it was simply perfect - would rent again in a heartbeat.

Good house in a Perfect Location

The location was perfect. Right on the beach, tons of chairs and deck furniture. The house had tons of room. Every room had a king sized bed. The separate apartment was great to have when my daughter was there with her friends from school. There are really 2 master bedrooms, one on main level and one with deck overlooking the beach. My kids visited from their school and had friends visit for Easter. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook brunch. We appreciated the beach towels left for us, as it turned into a perfect beach vacation. We would Definitely come back. It was a great way to visit the college, without staying right in the city.

Great place for large group

The house easily fit our group of eight and had room to spare. It is close to town, walkable to restaurants and shops as parking is hard to come by. The house was clean and exactly as advertised. The only part we'd have changed is a later check out, 9 a.m. was a bit of a scramble with kids!

Beachfront Comfort

Spacious, clean, and comfortable. This beachfront property was well suited for our two families to relax and enjoy the beach together. Owner was responsive, and offered clear communication and information about what the house is stocked and not stocked with. Make sure you hit the store beforehand for garbage bags, laundry supplies, and extra paper towels/TP. And yes—it really is a 9am check-out!

Perfect location right on the beach

Absolutely wonderful location - several blocks away from the busier “downtown” area in Folky Beach. Was wonderful to walk out the back door, down the steps to the beach. House is absolutely enormous - so our family of 5 had tons of space. We really enjoyed our stay. Host lives directly across the street and met us as we parked our car to explain a few things. They were also able to accommodate a 10am check out instead of the posted 9am check out time - that was much needed for a family with3 daughters! We would stay again if in the Charleston area!

Great Stay at the Beach

We enjoyed the expansive space to entertain our friends. There are unbeatable beach views and easy access directly to the beach. Easy parking and an elevator help bring everything up. We will definitely be back next year.

Spacious and perfect location

We had a group of seven and upon arrival we were immediately greeted by the owner. She wanted to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We loved the location, the space and the house itself. We had two dogs and my parents who are in their eighties so the elevator from the ground to the first floor was perfect. The owner was very helpful to us and even got us a large pot when we wanted to do a seafood boil. this house is located tight on the beach with an amazing view and there is a lot to do in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great stay!

What a wonderful first experience at Folly Beach! The house was so charming and clean. The carpets show signs of age but the rest of the house was fine. Check out directions were a bit confusing as we were unclear what needed to be done exactly. Thank you for a great stay. Though!! So happy with your beautiful home.

Folly Beach November Excursion

Property was as expected based on age (compared to others we have stayed at) and it suited are needs to a 't'. Broken blinds, some stained carpeting, BUT nothing that took away from our stay; nothing beats family time together. Toilet upgrades (larger/higher) would be a plus but we survived. 😄 overall, would return for a visit .. but we like to move around each year. which we thoroughly enjoyed ... ntime.

We are Folly Beach locals and only rent our own properties. Eula and Lois Chastain moved to Folly Beach in the 1940's and purchased multiple properties for rent. Lunnette Kinard is affectionately referred to as "Miss Folly Beach" by her friends as she officially earned the title in 1957. She is now retired and Alicia Kinard, her daughter, is the manager and primary contact.
