Welcome to your home away from home! This recently constructed 840 SF rustic cabin with a 450 SF covered porch is located on 5.6 acres. The cabin features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, an indoor fireplace and a fire pit. Located in Vermillion Cliffs Estates, five miles east of downtown Kanab, you'll enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets against the red cliffs from the front porch. Use this cabin as your basecamp as you explore the many scenic wonders that are unique to Southern Utah and Northern Arizona.

Great place to unwind

We loved the location; close to Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon and Grand Staircase Escalante, yet when it was time to unwind you felt you were alone. Excellent choice if you are in the Kanab area.

Nice cabin in quiet neighborhood.

Cabin was as advertised, very clean and had everything you needed. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook meals. Good communication with owners and check in and out was easy. Overall a very good stay. Would stay here again when we come back to the area.

A great place to stay outside Kanab

This is a great place to hang out for a few days or longer. Cabin has everything you need and is fairly new. The Mansard Trailhead is about a half mile away.

Awesome stay in SW Utah

Fabulous hub for exploring the area

Lovely cabin that is even nicer than the photos. It was great to have a cozy and private cabin to come back to after a day of hiking. It was a great space for our dog too. He loved being able to see out all the windows.

Truly amazing five star plus plus plus

We just can't say enough about how great this property and stay was in Kanab. Perfect location, beautiful views, close to everything, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and everything we needed to have the best vacation ever. We loved the birds showing up every morning the views we awesome. Amazing hosts amazing place thank you!

Great location with a view

Visited Zion, Bryce, Lake Powell while staying at this perfect little home right off art 89. Comfortable, cool environment with all the amenities. Great kitchen for making dinner every night. Drinking your coffee on the porch and watching the birds every morning are what vacations are made of.

6 nights with the family

The family (2 adults and 2 teens) stayed here for 6 nights while we explored the area in and around Kanab. This place was perfect for us. It had everything we needed and was super clean. The covered porch was very peaceful with a nice view of the red cliffs. The location is excellent to access Zion, North Rim, Bryce, Page, Coral Pink Sands, and much more in the area. Highly recommend!

Week of hiking

Highly recommend

The place was incredibly clean, comfortable, and the landscape was beautiful. We had a fire every night in the fireplace and the shower pressure was excellent. Having a washer and dryer was handy to wash our hiking clothes. Would definitely rebook this place.

Perfect location!

The cabin is fantastic. Excellent view of cliffs right from the front windows. Kanab is a great small town! Good restaurants, grocery stores, nice downtown area. We took in North Rim of Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, Zion and Coral Pink Sand Dunes in 5 days. Nice bike trail around Jackson Flats Reservoir too. Absolutely beautiful part of our great country!

Beautiful Kanab Cabin

The beautiful cabin outside Kanab had a great Mountain View off the front porch. The cabin had a rustic outside and modern interior that was very well outfitted. All necessary items for the great room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms were new and well appointed. We will see you again!

Gorgeous cabin with breathtaking views

We stayed at this beautiful property for 3 nights for our intimate elopement in Utah mountains and it was absolutely perfect in all ways. Stunning views, beautiful interior, just the right size for the two of us, kitchen that had everything we needed and even more, fireplace to set the mood in the evening. The property owners were super quick to respond to our questions, had all the tips and tricks spelled out for us in the guidebook, and even greeted us with a thoughtful welcome basket with snacks, which was very sweet of them.Close to town and to the highway that we took every day to our adventure destinations. This one is definitely staying on our list, as we are planning to come back every year for our anniversary :)

Absolutely AMAZING!

First of all the pictures are true to form and to be honest, it's actually better in person. The location was great as it was only a 10 minute ride into the town of Kanab. As well as 30 minutes to Zion park and many other places. We would book again! Great time, great cabin. Highly recommend.

I liked the place, neat clean just seemed pretty pricey for a couple days Could make the check in time 1pm and check out 11am 2 hour window to clean a small place is plenty or skip the day in between guests so can check in earlier in the AM and at least have most of the day instead of only 1/3 of the day

Michael, thank you for your comments. We take great pride in providing a clean cabin, as you noted in your review. And while the cabin is small, it still requires several hours to clean it to our standards. When 4-5 guests stay there, there is a lot of laundry to do, which is time consuming. Cleaning the cabin in a 2-hour window as you suggested is simply not feasible.

Hillhouse Family Vacay 2022

The house was the perfect size for the five of us. It was located five minutes from Kanab. Front porch faces beautiful red cliffs which I enjoyed every morning while drinking my coffee. It was super clean & also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Meredith! We will definately rent again this place!

Perfect Cabin and Location!

We had a great six night stay, the cabin was perfect for our family of four as well as our dogs. We loved the location, close enough to town yet still far enough away to feel private. The view from the living room endure was amazing. Meredith was quick to respond to any inquiry we had and the cabin was super clean and cute. The town of Kanab was beautiful and everyone we encountered was very friendly. The location was perfect and centrally located for driving our ATV on nearby trails, as well as visiting Zion, Bryce and Horseshoe Bend. We would highly recommend this location!

The Perfect Cozy Cabin!

Centrally located between everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed hanging out when we weren’t out exploring and looked forward to coming in and relaxing after long days out! The cabin was the cleanest of anywhere we have ever rented! The owners were very responsive before the trip. I’m sure they would have been had we had any issues, but there was never a need to contact them once we arrived. Everything was perfect! I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Elevation Celebration

Meredith and Tom are exceptional hosts. They communicate well and are quick to respond. The cabin is always very clean and well stocked. Meredith provides a great gift basket for visitors. The location provides easy access to the many outdoor activities in the area. The cabin is well designed to take advantage of a beautiful location and provides all the necessary comforts. We definitely will return in the future.

My husband, Tom, and I moved from Houston to Kanab in 2017. We were looking for a change of scenery and weather and we found the perfect spot! We love the endless outdoor activities from which there is to choose and we are anxious to share this beautiful part of the country with all of our guests!

You'll run out of time before you run out of amazing things to do in and around Kanab. The trailhead for the well-known Mansard Hike is within walking distance of the cabin. Explore other nearby stunning landmarks such as Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area, Grand Canyon North Rim, Cedar Breaks, and the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Within town, there are numerous local hikes that provide amazing views of Kanab. If you are more of the adventuresome type and enjoy off-road excursions, there are endless attractions to choose from in the area. Another big draw to the area is the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary where you can spend your time volunteering and interacting with some amazing animals.
