Our Balboa Peninsula property is just steps to the sand! Feel like a local walking to nearby restaurants, the supermarket, shops, local parks, Lido Village, and the Newport Pier.
Walk or bike everywhere!

This rental is located on the ground floor has a private front patio ideal for relaxing and dining outside. The interior features bamboo flooring throughout, A/C, surround-sound in the living area, the highest-speed wireless internet, open kitchen with Bosch appliances. The bathroom has both a tub and a shower. For added convenience, there is a washer and dryer in the unit. Everything is clean and comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay. The place is close to the beach and very clean. Parking is a little challenging but all in all I would stay there again. Owner are upstairs from guest so if you need anything they there to help you.

absolutely perfect. the location was one block from beach, 2-3 min walk! close to so many restaurants, shops! the house had everything needed for a great day. clean, wonderful and the host was very kind. will be coming back here agin.

It was a wonderful experience. The house was very clean, and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation.Great neighborhood, super close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. We parked the car and left it, so many adventures to be had within walking distance. We came for a family visit, and plan on making this our annual place to stay

Really nice one bedroom, comfy bed and pillow, and plenty of linens. Place was very clean and had everything you could need. Host was very friendly and responsive. Great location, a few blocks from the beach and walking distance to tons of restaurants. Would stay here again!

Great stay in Newport Beach

Nice clean modern unit perfect for 2 people. Great location, once we parked the car we didn't need to get back in it. Walked to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, and bicycle rental. Kirsten and Scott were very accommadating yet not intrusive in the slightest. Definitely hope to return.

A Perfect Place to Stay for a Wonderful Time

First time staying here and we were not disappointed! Updated decor, comfortable bed, clean with everything we needed, and in a perfect location close to the beach, shops, boardwalk and grocery store and restaurants. Beautiful patio. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing location with the best hosts!

We traveled from Washington state to California for some medical appointments our 13 month old daughter had to have. We were stressed with this being our first time flying with our daughter and also just with the nature of the medical stuff going on with her. We wanted to find somewhere to stay that would help turn our trip into more of a vacation and Kirsten and Scott’s place was absolutely perfect for that. It was just the right size for our family or 3. Kirsten had a pack ‘n play set up for our daughter when we arrived along with some toys for her! The kitchen was fully stocked and had enough coffee k-cups for us to have coffee each morning. It was great sitting out on the ground level patio and letting our babe run around. I cannot say enough about the location- you are walking distance from everything, including a grocery store and the beach just 2 blocks away. We ate at Mama D’s and the Ale House which were both great, as well as Sessions sandwich shop. Most importantly, Kirsten and Scott were the absolute best hosts. They helped us with parking when we arrived on a busy Sunday, and again the next day when we got back from our daughters first appointment. They were super communicative and friendly and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. If we come back in the future for more appointments for our daughter we’ll definitely try to stay here again! Thank you Kirsten and Scott for everything!!! -the Stacks from Spokane, WA

Location location location !

The entire stay was a 5 star experience. I was in a bad hotel and reached out to Kirsten requesting a 6 night stay on 12 hours notice. She made it happen and saved my visit to California. The place was spotless and better than advertised. Parking was not an issue and I was able to park Friday night and not use my car again until Monday. Everything I needed (beach, bay, Restaraunts, grocery store) was walking distance. Kirsten and Scott were great hosts and very accommodating. In addition to helping me on short notice, when they realized I had not arrived on the first day before sundown, they made sure the lights were on before I arrived. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Great stay

Came to California for a wedding. Condo was in a great location to get to all our events. Loved walking down to the beach everyday and enjoying the view. Kirsten was a great host and very helpful.

Tremendous stay!

We had such a great trip. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday and Thanksgiving at Disneyland. After the park we unwound at Kirsten’s beach place for a few days. What a great time. Bike rides to Balboa, walks to the beach, dinners at El Rancharita and La Valentina’s Big Cheese pizza. Kirsten surprised our daughter with a thoughtful birthday gift when we arrived. It really made her feel special. She went well out of her way to help with another accommodation as well. Wonderful host! Don’t hesitate to book.

As a first-generation California native, I've been traveling since childhood. From my parent's examples, I continue to immerse myself in international cultures, cuisines, and languages. I've lived in several different States and abroad, but Newport Beach is home base.
My husband Scott is an avid surfer who also loves to travel. Together we have two children who were raised with the beach as their backyard. Our beach home caters to the needs of travelers since we know what it's like to feel at home away from home.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We chose this location because of its proximity to the beach. Since my husband surfs, he likes to be within walking or biking distance to waves. Now our kids surf too! The winter swell breaks nicely just down the street and Blackies (a longboarders beach) is just on the other side of the 28th Street jetty. I too had to be in an area where we could be pedestrian. You do enough driving in Southern California and to live in an area where you can park the car and get to things without one is fantastic.
The rental is very comfortably laid out and tastefully decorated. It is clean, bright, and contemporary in style.

Accessibility to the property is very easy. It is in a unique spot between both Newport and Balboa Blvd.
The apartment is very well appointed and has its own fenced patio. Very nice year-round neighbors live on the block. Something you do not always find when renting a vacation home.
