It is the perfect house for a large group! Easily accommodates two families.

The first level boasts MULTIPLE sitting areas plus a big open kitchen!

Room #1 is a LARGE family sun room complete with board game/puzzle table & 60 inch TV (perfect for movie watching!)

Family room #2 is off the kitchen. It is complete with a fireplace, sidebar and sitting area. The full (eat-in) kitchen seats 14 at the tables.

Off the back eating area you will find another reading sun room for two!(room #3)

Sitting area #4 is a LARGE screened-in porch which includes an eating area, sitting area and indoor hammock!

Off the porch is one 'wing' of the house. It includes two downstairs bedrooms (one (queen), one (2 full beds) & a full bath and one upstairs bedroom (1 full and 5 singles) (perfect for the kids!)

The roof top balcony/deck connects the two wings of the house. It is a perfect place for the kids to hang out or for anyone to enjoy some outdoor quiet time.

The right wing of the house includes two sleeping areas: a bedroom loft (queen bed) with its own full bath and closet and a large master bedroom suite (king, full bath, double sinks)

Enjoy wireless internet throughout the house!

Outside. . enjoy the 1/2 acre yard (corn hole provided!) decks, picnic table, a charcoal grill and ENCLOSED OUTDOOR SHOWER!

Renting Yacht-Sea gives you full rights to the PRIVATE BEACH for your entire stay. Middlesex Beach is a guarded beach . . and only those with passes may be on the beach (Yacht-Sea comes with beach passes!!) There will be no problem finding a prime spot in the sand.

Yacht-Sea is 4 blocks from the beach and you can walk it in approx. 6 minutes. You also have the option of driving and using the parking passes that we provide. Since only those with passes are allowed in. . . there is NEVER a problem finding a parking spot.

YOU WILL NEVER WANT TO GO TO A CROWDED BEACH AGAIN!!!

The privacy extends to the house and yard too! You will be nestled on a dead end street. . among the trees(for pivacy). . . cars do not park on the side of the road. . you can take walks, ride bikes. . . it's nothing like any other place at the beach!! (yet you are steps away from all that the beach offers!! (mini golf, boardwalks, restaurants, stores, etc))

In just two/three minutes you can walk to Moe’s Deli, McDonald's, Bethany Seafood, the dollar store, a chinese restaurant and more!

WE HAVE FLOORS PLANS that we can email to you!! Just click on 'inquire about this property' below and ask for them!

We give full access to our shed which includes: old beach chairs, sand toys, a wagon, old BIKES, and more! We also have a pack-n-play at the house for your use. NOTE: You need to bring your own linens.

A beautiful and well designed space

We found the unique layout of this property provided our family an excellent variety of space for family members to interact or have some alone time. The sleeping accommodations are excellent, but also take a bit of adaptation to find the best fit for the family. For example, we had the family with two small children in the large master bedroom for privacy for daytime sleeping. A second couple with a slightly older child utilized the open balcony bedroom, as it allowed their son to avoid the steep steps into the loft, and to enter their space from the upper balcony to use their bathroom. Downstairs under the loft (East side of the house) the two bedrooms were fairly isolated from noise in the main dining/activity area. We loved the spacious outdoor shower, and the well-equipped kitchen. And throughout our stay, I had timely and helpful support from the owner. Having two parking passes and a beach pass to private Middlesex Beach worked out great for us!

Great, spacious house

Great house with multiple living areas, which is great for larger families with kids. The two tables was also great, kids had their own table separate from the adults

Just what we needed!

We had a wonderful family vacation at the Yacht-Sea. Everything we needed was available and just as described. The owner was terrific to work with. We hope to stay again next year!

Lots of room

The house was great. Enough room for everyone, and sometimes you get lost. On a dead end street which was great for the kids to ride bikes, which came with the house. Definately a plus. On the down side, the upstairs bedroom of the east wing smelled strongly of urine and some blankets seemed dirty. Seemed like the beds werent properly taken care of after little ones wet the bed. Other than that everything else was great.

An Enjoyable Stay

This house was a great size for us...a lot of room when the whole family wanted to be together and places where you could go for some quiet moments. WiFi was not so good.... we didn’t have internet for most of the week.

Another Great Stay

3 years in a row our large group has had a great stay at Yacht Sea. The private beach, large house, ample parking, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach keep us coming back.

Perfect for big family; close to beach

My family stayed here for Thanksgiving in what turned out to be the perfect accommodation for 10 adults. The open kitchen facing the living room and dining area is big enough for all to gather, with an adjacent family room and porches to spread out, even a little glass-enclosed reading nook. A huge TV for movie night, and an old air hockey table occupy the family room. Dining area can easily seat about 15 folks I'd say. We had 10 and no problem fitting everyone around the table. Kitchen has all the supplies you'll need. Bedrooms are plenty big, but one thing to know: two of the five rooms are loft style; they're private from view but you can't close a door to block out noise. Whoever's in those rooms will wake up when others begin milling about in the morning. The house is in the pines area of Bethany, about a quarter mile from the beach. Easily walkable. Bikes in the shed are good for getting to the beach, but not in a condition to go much farther. We'd definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room and the kitchen was spacious.

We had a fantastic time here. All the little extras made it so much nicer. The games, bikes, wagon, chairs, and the stocked kitchen condiments were an added bonus. It was close to the beach so it was an easy walk. 10 out of 10

Wonderful for families

We had a wonderful time at Yacht-sea! We traveled with 7 adults and 5 kids, and this place had plenty of space for everybody to commune and have a chance to get away for peace and quiet. So close to the beach! We're already talking about renting this place again for next year.

Another Great Year

Our second year here, and booked for our third. It's the perfect house for a large group with kids, as their are lots of areas for people to come together, but also other areas to find some space when they want a little peace and quiet. The private beach is the kicker, especially when you compare it to the throngs of people on Bethany Beach propper.

Third Time is a Charm!

This was our third straight year staying at Yacht Sea, and once again we had a great experience with amazing weather! Carol is very easy to deal with, and responds very quickly to my emails. The upgrades she makes every year shows how much she cares for her property and people staying there. We love the house and have already booked again for next year. The middlesex area feels like our second home. Can't wait for next year!

A special week that has become a family memory maker!

This is a perfect relax and get your toes in the sand place. Carol listens to suggestions or needs you may have. Commented last year about the need for extra A/C in the loft...lovely surprise to see she adressed the need! Just love that the 6 grandsons can play outside in the yard and not be in danger. Neighbors are superb as well. Thank you Carol..you've been so consistent with your management from the start!

Great Beach House!

We loved our stay even though it turned into a rainy weekend! The house has all kinds of unique places where the group can spread out. Staying just a couple blocks from the beach is worth it for the peace and quiet and beautiful tree-lined street. We will be back!

Thanksgiving gathering

Unique property and fantastic environment for family gathering. We did Thanksgiving weekend and the kitchen, dining and media room were fantastic for everyone to eat and relax. The owner was accommodating and responsive to our requests.

Great house, good location, lots of room for lots of family.

The place was great. Decorated beautifully, but child friendly. Quiet location, but close to beach. Carol was great to work with, and quick with responses. We would stay there again.

The house layout was unique which worked perfect for our multiple families with kids.

Carol was very punctual, helpful & accomodating throughout the rental process including our time at the house. We were very pleased with what the house had to offer. We look forward to potentially booking it again next year!

Great house for family Vacay

We had a great stay at the house. Lots of little nooks for people to escape to when needing a little time away from family. Owner was very responsive to any issues we had (which were the fault of mother nature, not the owner). Have rented again for next year.

Perfect weekend at the beach!!!

This place is great! which is probably why we return every year. Carol is awesome and everything we need for a great time away at the beach is right at your fingertips; from the dozens of board games and air hockey inside to the bean bag toss and bicycles outside. There was never any shortage of things to do and we never once heard the kids say those dreaded words "I'm bored" which was enough to make our trip a success on that alone. If you're looking for a nice quiet beach vacation I would highly recommend this house.

Great beach house in an amazing beach community!

We greatly enjoyed our time at Yacht-Sea! We've vacationed in Middlesex for decades and it's such a great little beach community. This time we stayed in April so the beach was still just too cold, but it's just a quick walk over and is amazing when warm enough! This house is laid out perfectly for our family with areas for the kids and areas for the adults. The kitchen is nicely updated and very well stocked. We loved having the 2nd refrigerator to keep all of the drinks in. We have family who live in the area and the home had plenty of space to have them over each night for family dinners. The kids (ranging in age from 3-13) loved playing out front and in the backyard. The neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet, we enjoyed taking lots of walks and bike rides. Over the years we've stayed oceanfront, oceanside & pineside in Middlesex and we really prefer to stay pineside where Yacht-Sea is located because of how peaceful, open and quiet it is. In our opinion it offers the best of both worlds! Just outside of the neighborhood is the bustling town of Bethany Beach which offers great shops and restaurants. We'll definitely be back! Thank you!

Well equipped, cozy, and comfortable

We had a wonderful time at Yacht-Sea. Our group of 10 adults stayed there for a week on October and found it comfortable, convenient, and well maintained. It was the perfect place for our off-season grownups' beach week -- close to the beach and boardwalk, but with plenty of space at home for games, meals, and relaxing. One property quirk -- some of the bedrooms are not fully closed off. The loft bedroom in the main area of the house is open to the living room below and particularly open to sound.

Yacht-Sea is owned by Morgan & Kathy Wootten along with their daughter and son-n-law, Carol & Steve Paul. We reside year round near University of Maryland. At Frostburg State University, we run an overnight basketball camp together for the first half of every summer... and then rush to Middlesex to spend the second half!

We purchased Yacht-Sea after years of looking in Middlesex Beach. We have been vacationing (renters ourselves!) in Middlesex since 1987. Once we found the private beach, we couldn't go to any other beach! Our children have grown up being allowed to play frisbee, surf and run freely on an uncrowded beach. We also came to love the privacy offered from the 1/2 acre yards in Middlesex. We have tried to make Yacht-Sea a Renter's Dream by adding all the things we wished were at the numerous houses we rented over the years (and by copying the things we LOVED at those other rentals too) Middlesex Beach is our favorite place in the world!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

My husband's favorite thing is that we park our cars when we arrive and get the bikes out. Our kids love to bike to the end of the street and buy ice cream after dinner each night. They also love biking to the boardwalk. Our younger nieces and nephews love the dead end street where they are allowed to bike and play ball in the middle of the road! We love that we can walk and bike up to Summer Salt's Cafe for wings and drinks! My parents love the fine dining (especially Parkway) in the area. The kids love biking to Candy Kitchen, the Dollar Store, Chinese food and the beach supply store. We enjoy that each age group has their own area to hang out in the house. The young kids are in the loft, the teens are in the game room, the parents are in the living room and the grandparents are on the porch...all spread out... yet when it comes to meals and family game time.. there is plenty of room to gather together! Mostly we love that we are secluded! Every night we fix our beach drinks, turn on the tiki lights on the porch and press play on the beach CD...then sit back, relax and smile! (and of course at some point, roll a game of yahtzee)
