Prepare yourself to enter a place where troubles melt away. This home has it all. A chic, modern vibe, a clean, updated kitchen, tongue and groove ceilings, an original gas block fireplace enjoyed from a cozy couch under clerestory windows that bring in incredible light, mountain views and colorful desert sunsets, two spa-like bathrooms, a huge saltwater pool and spa, and outdoor living spaces with complete privacy.

Located on a quiet street only a few blocks to Palm Canyon Drive via car, bicycle or bus/trolley. Large glass doors in the living area open up to a lanai with a covered outdoor living space that can be enjoyed all months of the year. The original 1959 pool and spa make this home truly charming. Did I mention the pool is large enough to float around in for hours, and heated at your request (additional charge applies). The spa is equally incredible, large enough for you and all your friends, inground, detached from the pool, and controlled by simple push buttons on the wall – no futzing around with phones/tablets or levers! This is your opportunity to step back in time to the middle of the century and enjoy an architectural journey in your own private oasis.
What sets this home apart is the fantastic, resort-like outdoor space. Mature 12+ foot ficus on all sides provide freedom from eyes. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, or you’ve come to relax and clear your mind, you will appreciate the peaceful outdoor spaces. After a long day of swimming, sports, or sightseeing, sit by the outdoor fire-pit and watch the sunset over the mountains turn into spectacular desert starry skies. Open the cabana and find a pingpong table and pool floats, press a button to light up the pool/spa, and take a dip, bubble up the spa and destress. The neighborhood is quiet and the mountain views are awe-inspiring. Take a walk through the neighboring streets and enjoy being a part of an impeccably maintained piece of 1950s history.
All stays under 28 days are subject to City of Palm Springs Occupancy Tax of 11.5% - This tax is included in the nightly fee.
ALL additional charges such as pool/spa heat and late check-out (if applicable) MUST be paid in FULL, BEFORE check-in.

Important Disclosures:
- All legitimate, licensed vacation rentals in Palm Springs follow strict city-wide vacation rental laws. These include occupancy limits, good neighbor policies, party-free homes, occupancy taxes, no outdoor music, minimum age of 25, copy of Govt photo ID and a written contract signed by the responsible renter.
- Weekly and other longer-term rates may not apply over holidays and special events.
- Stays of 28 days and longer are responsible for actual utility usage (water, gas, and electricity).
- We reserve the right to collect an additional security deposit, at our discretion, for any rentals during special events or holidays.
- Check-in time is 3pm, checkout is 11am. Early check-in and/or late checkout may be available at $30 per hour.
- Child & infant warning - This home has a pool that is accessible from the house without a locking gate.
- Pool heat is an optional nightly fee. Payment is required 24-48 hours prior to arrival. Spa heat is included when heating the pool. Fees range from $60-$90 per night depending on season and occupancy. The pool must be heated for all days of your stay - longer stays may be accommodated at a lower nightly rate.
- Spa heat is optional and charged at $25 a day (only applies if you do not heat the pool and wish to heat the spa). The spa must be turned off when not in use.
- No running, diving or jumping in or around the pool area.
- The pool is serviced on Monday and Thursday. Please be aware that workmen may have access to the property during your stay.
- Glass is not allowed in the pool area. Plastic glasses are provided. If there is broken glass in the pool the renter will pay the cost to drain the pool, clear out all glass and repair any damage. We must be notified of broken glass immediately.
- Security camera monitors pool, yard maintenance, and occupancy levels. There are no cameras inside the home.
- This home may not be used for photo or video shoots without advance written permission. The security deposit will be forfeited and additional location fees assessed if the home is used for production purposes without advance permission.
- Incidents occur, if they are apparent at the start of your stay or you feel they were inevitable, please contact me (via phone or Airbnb) immediately. Waiting until after check-out will result in a deduction for the cost of cleaning/repair from your security deposit.
- Failure to depart prior to the agreed-upon check-out date/time will be charged at twice the highest daily-rate until departure, plus all costs, fees, and damages, including but not limited to attorney fees, related to the removal of the Guest and relocating an incoming guest.
- The desert can be windy. Noises inside and outside the home due to wind are not uncommon. Umbrellas should be lowered as needed. If outdoor furnishings are damaged due to improper care, you may be liable. Please lower umbrellas and place towels/pillows in covered locations. The Cabana is a safe location for storage during rain/wind storms.
- Palm Springs noise ordinances are strictly enforced. The city will issue citations if music or noise can be heard beyond the perimeter of the property. Guest will be charged a minimum of $500 for calls related to noise/compliance complaints. If cited, in addition to being charged at a minimum $500.00, guests will lose the entirety of their security deposit and will be removed from the property without refund.
- No more than 3 vehicles can park on or near the property. Mandated by the City of Palm Springs.
- AC must not be set below 74°. Doors and windows must be closed while using AC, or you may incur substantial penalties for excessive electric costs or damage to AC unit.
- Prior to departure, all trash is to be placed in outside containers and dishes placed in the dishwasher.
- Do not use fire-pit in high wind. Never leave children unattended near fire. No items should be placed in the fire-pit or fireplace. Gas must be turned off after use.
- Please inquire about longer stays. Small groups only.
