We had a wonderful time at this well-appointed home in a truly fabulous neighborhood! The spaces are huge and perfect for hanging out with friends and family. Everything was clean and communication was prompt and friendly with the host and property manager. We can't wait to come back! :)

Love this place

We are a group of six long time friends that get together every year in Palm Springs. We have stayed at this house five or six time. We absolutely love it and stay whenever it is available we highly recommend it.

Reunion of friends that go back over 50 years!

Perfect home for the six of us. Had a fabulous and Fred was very attentive to our every need. Highly recommend this home. Fabulous!

Casa Monte Vista makes you feel like a million bucks!

This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful home. The floorplan is such that it is like having 3 separate and spacious hotel rooms with a common area for get-togethers. I was glad to see a new firepit, a running fountain in the entry courtyard, and an easy spa and jet control recently installed. It makes the stay that much more enjoyable. You will love walking the neighborhood and seeing all the homes previously own by Hollywoods best. The neighborhood and homes are all stunning. Both Katy and Fred are the most conscientious property managers we have the pleasure of knowing. They made certain that our stay was a good one. Thank you so much to the both of you!

Great neighborhood and space.

We spend time each winter in beautiful Palm Springs so we know the neighborhoods. This house is in a great location for walking into town as well as getting everywhere we wanted to go. The house is well laid out and very spacious. Great pool. Very clean and has all the essentials so no worries about basics. It could use some updating but that is the only negative. We definitely would like to book again next year.

Relaxing getaway home

Our family enjoyed swimming in the heated pool, walking into town for shopping and dining, and spending time in this beautiful and spacious vacation home. The location could not have been better. Everyone in our family felt like we had plenty of space. The pool deck had plenty of seating and the house was well stocked for backyard fun. If we were to return to the area for vacation we would definitely stay here again. Check-in was confusing because the address given on the handbook for the property including the picture was incorrect but the property manager did eventually meet us to help us check-in to the correct home and it did match the actual vrbo listing. While there, there was an issue with plumbing which the property manager helped with immediately. We also reached out about being awoken overnight due to an alarm system going off from low battery and he was very apologetic. The backyard firepit did not work and we tried repeatedly but we could not get it to work.

Thanksgiving in Palm Springs

Lovely place, bigger than we expected. Good communication with Fred, the property manager. Wish I could have enjoyed it more, but I had to spend part of the time away, unexpectedly. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner and the rest of the family loved the place.

Favorite Palm Springs Paradise

This is our second year renting this perfect home. It is in the most ideal location in Palm Springs -walking distance to everything that we love. The neighborhood is gorgeous and the house is perfectly appointed. Huge bedrooms with en suite bathrooms along with a kitchen that has everything you need to entertain or just hang out. We will be returning again.

Palm Springs vacation.

What a great house!! Lots of room for entertaining and well equipped with all the essentials. The bedrooms were roomy with a bathroom in each. Wonderful backyard with lots of areas to sit and lounge. Management was very attentive and helpful. We will return when we come to Palm Springs again.

Wonderful Setting in Great Mid-Century Neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious and reasonably well appointed. The neighborhood is spectacular for walking, especially for those with an appreciation of mid-century residential architecture and fine, mature, well-maintained landscape design. A short drive or a long walk to town. Gave the new property manager a little constructive feedback on a few very minor items as we also own and rent luxury properties and he seemed receptive to our input. Would stay again if we return to PS.

House was not in overall excellent condition as House Book January 24 stated.

We stayed for a month. We were very disappointed with the condition of this house and we have rented around 20 houses and we have never given a negative review. First the materials we were given said there was a driveway gate code and the remotes would be inside the house and operate the gate and garage. When I asked where the remote was I was told the drive way gate was manual. We tried to use the pool and spa the first weekend and the heat did not work. We were told it had not been turned on. We tried to use it again the second weekend and it did not work and they then said it was broken. It then got fixed. Neither the outdoor fire pit nor the propane patio heater worked. I contacted the property manager via text or email and received no response. When I contacted again he said he would work on the fire pit before the middle of the month when our adult boys and their wives were coming for a week. The fire pit got replaced and worked 3 days before we left and the propane heater never worked. If you look at the cushions on the chairs in the front patio you will see they are shredded underneath. As another reviewer noted the living room sofa continuously leaks feathers and the breakfast nook table is too large for the space so you can only use 3 of the 4 chairs. The house is in a beautiful neighbourhood and has plenty of space. It was not ready for our rental.

Create suites and outdoor space

The location was really great and the house was fantastic The dual (technically three) suites provided the perfect setup for us. We spent most of our time in the hottub and pool which were great. The directions were a little unclear on how to activate things but we got there after a quick call. It was not great to discover that they don't want the thermostat turned below 72. That's fine for when we went in March, but I would be very annoyed during the summer. They also have weird rules about how many towels you can leave unwashed which doesn't make sense for the price. Still, laundry was easy so we threw them in. We'd absolutely stay here again during a similar time of year. Check in/out was simple. They even gave allowed us an hour late checkout. Host communication was great and when we did need to call the house manager, he answered (shocked me) and provided answers immediately. House has great TVs that you can stream in, especially the one outside by the hottub. We didn't get a chance to really use the kitchen or BBQs much this time but would in the future.

Spacious place that has everything

We were very pleased with the amount of room at Katy’s place. Two very large king bedrooms and one bedroom with two queens. It is big enough to comfortably fit 8 people. Katy was extremely helpful and responsive during and after the trip. Made our vacation a fun and memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Amazing House - Great Location!

Our group loved Paul and Karen's house - perfect walking distance from downtown and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The rooms were HUGE and comfortable beds. Kitchen had everything we needed as well. Overall, great place for a Palm Springs stay!
