Cozy Beach Getaway - 136th St Ocean City, Maryland

End unit townhouse has been recently renovated to provide you with everything you will need for a wonderful beach vacation. This home is located two walking blocks from the beach and has a relaxing canal view from the deck with access to a shared pier. Bring your crab net or fishing rod and have some fun. North Side or Gorman park is a short walk away with playgrounds and walking trails.

This home has a full kitchen with a dining table to seat 4. There is a full size washer and dryer available for your convenience. The living room has a 42 inch flatscreen with cable and internet access. Upstairs are two bedrooms and one bathroom (renovated 2021). The master bedroom, located in the rear of the home, has a queen bed and television. The guest bedroom, located in the front of the home, has a double and a twin bed with a cable TV as well.

Ocean City has so much entertainment including beaches, dining, golf, amusement parks and our legendary boardwalk. Come put your toes on the sand and enjoy all that our cozy beach getaway has to offer!

Great Stay

This is a great property for a getaway to Ocean City. It is a bit far from the boardwalk but still has great restaurants and attractions within walking distance!

very cute and updated kitchen and bathroom! Also very nice back porch on the water. I especially appreciated that it was an end unit and parking was right out front.

The property for our needs perfectly. It was a comfortable two-story townhouse.

Everything went smooth from choosing the property, to reaching out to the property manager, to finding out what was in the townhouse, to communicating with them during this day. The unit was clean, and close to the beach. There are four of us, two adults and two children, and we all had enough space.

Perfect for a family

Close to beach and quieter end of Ocean City. Very thoughtfully decorated with newly renovated kitchen and bath. We loved being able to walk to mini golf, the beach and restaurants. Not a long enough stay to enjoy the deck or do a little crabbing, but it looked inviting! Having to take linens, towels and paper products was unusual but not a problem.

Great Place; great location!

My husband and 2 teenaged sons really enjoyed our stay. The 2-block walk to the beach allowed us to enjoy a day at the beach every day we were there. The place was the perfect size for the four of us, and was very clean. Kristen was very communicative, which we really appreciated as this was our first time using VRBO.

Wonderful spot in North OC

This worked out perfectly for a beach trip with my family, wife and 3 kids. Beach was a short distance and lots of places that were walkable. We mostly ate out so were not able to take advantage of all of the amenities but would definitely do so on a future trip.

We enjoyed our stay!

The house was clean and comfortable; perfect for a family of four. The area is quiet and it is convenient to the beach and our favorite restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great location for an Ocean City getaway!

Loved staying here - the location was far enough away from the busy part of town to be peaceful but close enough to see all the sights! We loved this for our little family - having the full kitchen and washer/dryer with an infant was a lifesaver. Host was super helpful with local info. Will definitely stay again.

Great weekend stay

We absolutely loved our relaxing weekend. The property was basically perfect! Very clean! And sitting on the beautiful back deck was so relaxing. We will definitely be coming back. The only very tiny issue we had was no batteries in the one remote! Lol Thank you for allowing us to use the property 🙂

Good location to beach

Nice place with good location to the beach! However it seemed like the place wasn’t ready. For examples, the deck was being renovated and the listing said it would be done but it had no railings, assuming construction got pushed back due to covid, the listing did not say there would be no linens included (it is now corrected) which was very surprising since that wasn’t listed and we were flying in and would not have room for sheets and towels in our luggage(I contacted the owner and they kindly brought us washed sheets and hand towels in a timely manner). Also little things like no batteries in one of the remotes, toilet paper, and a sort of lived in smell throughout the place. Overall we liked the place but mostly stayed at the beach and restaurant/bars.

I do apologize for you feeling as if our place was not ready. The railings were delayed due to Covid but the deck was fully accessible with patio furniture set up and ready for your use. As for the availability of linens, it is standard practice on VRBO that linens and paper products are not included unless they are listed in the amenities section. They were not listed so it is the responsibility of the renter to bring. We have updated the listing to be very clear for those that could make the same mistake. Upon your check in at 4pm you called to let me know that linens were not on the beds. In a good faith gesture the owner came to the property and picked up her personal linens she uses during her stays. She then laundered them and brought them back at 9pm. A linen charge would normally apply but you stated that you were a first time VRBO renter and we understand that mistakes happen. As for the lived in smell, our home is professionally cleaned between every stay. The HVAC is brand new and property completely renovated. It’s located 2 blocks from the ocean and directly on the bayside canal. Possibly the sea salt air could be an influence.

Far enough away from the busy areas yet close enough to places we wanted to go to, place was clean, all amenities we needed, kids had fun trying to catch crabs on the dock, walking distance to an arcade and mini golf, excellent place we very much enjoyed

Awesome property!

Newly renovated property with a friendly property manager. This place had everything we needed for the weekend from the newly renovated back porch to the large living room area to have friends over. Would definitely come back for another stay!

Great place, great location

We had a nice stay, we stayed for Cruisin' Weekend, had 3 cars and no issues with parking. We enjoyed our stay, the deck/pier is currently being replaced but when its finished I can see its going to be very nice. Great location, during the season it is close enough to the beach to walk. House is clean and nice.

Not clean/ strange smell

Went with my husband, 3 year old and 7 month old. I found a dirty bandaid on the floor in one of the bedrooms & there was hair all over one of the dressers. There was also a pretty bad smell throughout the house which the owners are aware of, there were a bunch of deodorizers throughout the house. The shared dock was closed off from damage & I wish that was updated in the description.

If I had known, I would have sent the cleaning crew back to the property for a second cleaning. The deck and pier construction project was a complete surprise to us.
