The best of both worlds- close to downtown and the beach while also private and quiet! This elegant home in a private neighborhood in beautiful Ogunquit is located less than 1 mi from main beach and 1/2 mile from downtown. The home has been recently renovated and the amenities include an indoor hot tub and sauna, open concept living areas and a screened in porch. Four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a sleeper sofa. Other features including full kitchen, hardwood floors, washer and dryer, fireplace, patio with gas grill, garage, yard space and central A/C.

Nice home , beautiful location

Great hosts in a great location for shopping, food and entertainment. The house is a wonderful retreat in a safe area. Houses a large number of guests. Plenty of space for relaxing and the hot tub was a nice addition!

Summer Fun In Ogunquit

We had a great two weeks here. The house was everything and more that we could ask for. A short walk to the town and beach and then a relaxing evening in the hot tub. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks to Thomas and his family for sharing their wonderful home.

Great quiet location

We enjoyed our time at this property, its large and fit our family of 6 easily. The host was thoughtful and left instructions to be sure we enjoyed the home. Some recommendations I would have for the owner would be to make sure the air conditioning is started before your guests arrive. It took almost two full days to cool the space down on likely the hottest day of the years.

4th of July Stay

All in all this property hit all our requirements but overall it fell extremely short on cleanliness and communication with the owner. Prior to the stay I had reached out for information on the provided amenities a few weeks before our visit to ensure it’d accommodate us and had to follow up multiple times. As far as cleanliness goes we had to wash dishes prior to using them and I know 2 rooms had to wash their linens because they were dirty. I’d suggest looking at your amenities and doing an inventory - we had to go into town to buy wine glasses because only one was in the house. I’d also recommend providing pictures of beach equipment in your listing photos. This house has potential to be an amazing place but it is very noticeable the owners absent - lot of missing tile work in bathrooms.

Fabulous home!

The owners of this property could not have been nicer! Their home was beautiful and very welcoming! The kitchen was absolutely beautiful! Loved the counter tops and island! It was well stocked and the layout was so nice and open! The hot tub and sauna were a party bonus and it was so nice to relax and unwind in after a day at the beach! We were 6 adults and we had plenty of space and everyone had their own room and two of them had their own bathrooms! There were 3 showers which was great bc we could all get ready very quickly! Highly recommend this home for a wonderful vacation!

Large comfortable home in quiet neighborhood.

We were quite pleased with this spacious home in a quiet tree filled neighborhood close to downtown but far away enough to be relaxing and peaceful.

Plenty of space

I hesitated to review as we made it work and had a good vacation overall. There are some clarifications that people need to know about. First off, the cleanliness of the bedrooms and baths were good. The cleaning people pretty much skip the rest and you could have written your name in the dust on the tv stand. Owner may want to oversee a little better. The cut through path to town was definitely a time saver but, it is a rough path through the woods with rocks and tree trunks across it. Not handicap accessible, stroller or beach cart accessible. The cabinets, plumbing and electrical were in need of updating. The hot tub may have been a nice feature if someone maintained it. Maybe that’s the cleaning people’s responsibility between tenants? If so, they skipped that along with the dusting. Looks like it may have been a great home in its day. Hopefully repairs and a little TLC is in the plan.

Ogunquit vacation

Myself and three friends stayed four nights. The house was wonderful. Very spacious and clean. We had everything that we needed right there at our finger tips. It was located in a quiet area with a large yard. The only thing I would suggest to change would be adding adhesive stickers to the floor of all the showers. They were extremely slippery and if not aware of that could end in a nasty fall. Otherwise everything was great. To anyone considering renting this property I would only suggest to bring fire wood for the fireplace and the outside fire pit. We had to locate wood at convenient stores to purchase some and it is very pricy for what you get. Over all a great stay and would recommend it to everyone! Brenda

Very comfortable place, great location, lots of space!

Lovely house close to the center of the action, yet in a very quiet location. Large bedrooms with lots of space, 2 living rooms, ideal for large groups. We certainly enjoyed the A/C and the outdoors, the large and well-equiped kitchen. The owners were very friendly and very helpful when we had questions.

Location was great. Home was as described. More than enough room for us and our friends, we could have brought more! Comfortable beds and common areas. Tom was very responsive in answering any questions we had. Very quick responses. We very much enjoyed our stay, thank you for sharing your home!

Great home!

Took my parents here for mom's 77th birthday. This home was beautiful (much better than expected) and it had everything...even a rocking chair for mom!! The weather wasn't great so we spent a lot of time in the house playing games and going in the jacuzzi. Everyone had a great time! We will definitely stay here again!!

Very nice property!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. It is minutes to the beach and center of town. BUT secluded enough that you can enjoy a quiet evening outside. It is the last house on a dead end so you will not get much traffic or noise when you are at home. The kitchen is fully equipped, plenty of towels, beach toys/chairs and FIRE PIT! The pictures shown are 100% accurate so no surprises for us. Thomas was wonderful to work with and even made a point to call the day of check-in to ensure you found the property and was happy. Property would get 5 stars but there were a few nuances which I am sure can be easily fixed: - the welcome mat at the sliding doors. It would absorb any and all rain water so it was always completely soaked which was a bit gross to step in. We eventually just moved the mat so that we did not have to step in a puddle each time we walked in the house. - The light bulbs. They had recessed lighting and not all the lights worked. I think the bulbs may have been burned out but no one replaced the broken lights. My family and I look forward to staying here again!
