A newly restored Dutch farmhouse, located on 5 gorgeous acres in Santa Ynez. You will soon see that Goodgame Ranch is a property right out of the movies! Close to town, this home features lush park-like grounds with a pool, spa, and a beautiful rustic barn and corral. This comfortably charming home is excellent for entertaining, inside and out, with unlimited attention to detail and plenty of amenities. There are three private rooms upstairs, two rooms with king beds and one room with two twin beds. The master bedroom features a flat screen television and full bath with shower and tub. Downstairs, guests can sleep on a sleeper sofa bed with full bath en suite. This is not a private room but the perfect arrangement for extra guests.

What an amazing property! The house is beautiful, as well as the property and pool area.The location is ideal for visiting all the small towns nearby. Lots of wonderful restaurants, too.And did I mention the adorable Scottish Highland cows!

Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was perfect for the cold nights. We adored visiting with the cows. Perfect visit.

Spectacular!

We had a rendezvous with our colleagues and it was a perfect location and house. The hot tub was amazing and the house was really nice and comfortable. The host was very responsive and lovely to work with!

Holiday Getaway

We came to Santa Ynez to decompress a bit after Christmas and to visit Solvang, and spent almost all of our time at the house. Such a beautiful property, gorgeously landscaped, adorable farmhouse, fabulous spa, and the best bonus, the Highland cattle and a neighborhood cat who would stop by for a visit! Thank you for a most wonderful and memorable family vacation! Oh, and did I mention our awesome view of a Space-X launch?

Valentines Family Getaway

What a charming farmhouse! The landscape is like a storybook and so is the house inside. You can make up a new story for every room and artifact. We had a lovely time feeding handfuls of hay to the sweetest cows and also made a new frog friend in the outdoor fountain. Perfect for families.

BEST VACATION EVER!!

Simply WOW! This was the most amazing vacation ever. We wanted a getaway for rest and relaxation and we got so much more with this property... The dutch farmhouse was absolutely perfect. All of the rooms were large and the house decor was so fun. The pool has an electric cover on it and it stayed at a wonderful 84-88 degrees. My daughter spent all day with the longhorn cattle and fed them and sang songs to them. Everyday the neighbors invited us over to feed the goats and horses. I knew I would love Solvang, but I did not know that I would fall in love with this house. I am still overwhelmed with amazing memories of the property. It's 3 acres, so we played bocce ball in the back and still had room in the front for a soccer match. We swam a couple of times a day and relaxed the hot jacuzzi with jets. Pam is an incredible host. She responded to any questions so quickly and it really made a difference. This is not just another rental...this was a magical adventure for our family and we can't wait to book this property for next year. Thank you for the family memories.

Adorable and Relaxing

We stayed at this property for a couple of nights for a quick girl's weekend in the valley. It was lovely! Such a wonderful property, especially the outdoor space. Pam was very accommodating and totally responsive to our questions. I was also able to bring my dog for a reasonable fee, and he had the best time romping around the huge wrap-around yard! I'm pretty sure he had the most fun out of all of us :).

Over Delivers!

The place looked great online, we had made plans to leave for food and festivities and wound up spending a lot of time at the property aside from wine tastings! Highly recommend and Pam was great to work with!

Quiet getaway with amazing Mountain views

The Good Hand Ranch was perfect for our trip to Santa Ynez! My partner and I were married in Santa Barbara and stayed at the Good Hand for a couple of nights after with a few friends to celebrate in the quiet of wine country. The only “noise” we heard was the mooing of the highland cows out back. You can feed them! As perfect as our stay was, there were a couple of unannounced visits and we definitely saw people walking on the property at times, either workers of homeowners not sure. The spa was somewhat difficult to set up so make sure you get detailed instructions because you won’t find any in the house. Pam really stepped up and helped us figure it all out and we are able to eventually use the spa at our convenience. The views are beautiful and the customer care made up for any lost time with the spa. All in all I would highly recommend staying at the Good Hand Ranch!

The absolute best getaway

Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect cottage for a wine country getaway. The cottage by far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back and rent this place again. It was truly magical Mahalo from Honolulu

Nice and Relaxing lots of outdoor space

Very nice old farm house with updated clean kitchen and clean house comfortable beds lots of outdoor space the pool and jacuzzi, perfect. The Highland cows were amazing loved feeding them that was such a nice surprise!! Our Dog really loved it we found it very relaxing only thing is the furniture is not that comfortable, but that will not stop us from coming again.

Relaxing, relaxing and relaxing

The farmhouse was more than what we expected. It was very quaint, has a lot of character, spacious, a lot of outdoor space for everyone to enjoy their privacy, quiet time, read a book, and relax. We used the pool daily. Since it was a bit windy that week, we requested for pool to be heated at an extra cost. It was worth it. One of the families stayed at the guest house and they really enjoyed it. It was spacious, modern and clean. It comes with a living room, laundry unit, two bedrooms. We also brought our bikes and visited nearby bakeries and farm stands by cycling to these locations. Great way to spend spring break. We will stay here again!

The best stay in Santa Ynez!

Truly a lovely experience all around here. Pam was lovely and easy to communicate with. The property is gorgeous and the cows are adorable. It is in the country, so be careful not to leave out food, it will attract ants (even indoors), but the stay itself was wonderful, and I would definitely return! Warmly, ~Reid

Great stay!

What a great home and property. We had a few questions and Pam was readily available and kind. We laughed, tasted wine, played games, BBQ’d, and spent some time in the jacuzzi. We would definitely rebook here again.
