The Bear Creek Cabin features 2 bedrooms, 2 living areas and a completely updated new kitchen. The back yard is spacious and allows plenty of room to gather and bbq (BBQ is seasonal)
Dogs/Cats are not allowed as the homeowner is extremely allergic-ask us about our other dog friendly homes.

Located in the beautiful Cold Creek Trail section of South Lake Tahoe. It is an a short 7-10 minute drive to Heavenly' s California Base Lodge or the Gondola at the Heavenly Mountain Resort Village. Depending on your favorite beach spot it is an easy 10-15 minute drive. The Bear Creek Cabin is a perfect spot to stay if you want to come up and: ski, hike, mountain bike, explore, sight see, go to the casinos for shows or playing, multiple dining options are found throughout the South Shore.

The Bear Creek Cabin is a single story home that has been lovingly maintained and upgraded. The front of the house features the living room with a fireplace and windows that overlook several forested lots across the street. The kitchen has been completely remodeled, new granite counters all new stainless steel appliances and is well equipped for those that love to cook. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small dining nook and a spacious family room. The family room is a great place to relax.

There is a slider to the back yard and patio. During the warmer months there is patio furniture and a picnic table. The yard is fenced and has plenty of room for the kids to play no matter what the season is.

There are two bedrooms with all new comforters, pillows and mountain themed décor. The full bath is shared by both bedrooms. In addition there is a laundry room with washer and dryer.

The three bedroom cabin next door is also available for rent-perfect if two families want to come to Tahoe together.
There is no air conditioning.
There is a Ring camera on the driveway, owners check to see if the bears are out and about.

While staying here, please make sure to follow local ordinances (noise/maximum occupancy and maximum vehicles on site)We also require a signed rental agreement for every reservation and the person signing must be 25 years of age, must be staying at the property and have a copy of the signed rental agreement with them during their stay.

When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snow plows that clear the roads.
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries vanish)
