Gorgeously tucked away in a grove of soaring, fragrant redwoods, this cottage provides a peaceful retreat in the artistic hamlet of Villa Grande. This woodland oasis, which sits 500 feet from a beach on the banks of the Russian River, offers an open living space with custom woodwork and lovely touches of vintage architecture, a beautiful deck and gas grill to enjoy beneath a canopy of trees, and a wood-burning fireplace to curl up to on chilly Sonoma County evenings.

This home sits within a short stroll of a community beach on the Russian River, one mile northwest of the amphitheater and the riverfront park. The Northwood Golf Course is less than two miles east, and the tiny community of Duncans Mills is five miles west. Take a drive to explore the eclectic shops and restaurants in downtown Guerneville, six miles east, admire the rugged beauty of the ocean at Sonoma Coast State Park, 10 miles west, or spend a day (legally) foraging mushrooms at Salt Point State Park, 27 miles northwest, before catching the sunset at Timber Cove on the way back.

Security camera details: There are two security cameras on-site: one outward-facing camera on the front deck plus an outward-facing camera on the front porch (both with listening capability).

Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
