Villa Splendente is a charming three-story historical villa located in an isolated position, on the slopes of a hill which is covered with olive groves. It sleeps 12 people. From Villa Splendente you will enjoy a marvelous view of the Valdinievole (Nievole Valley) and of the hills. Villa Splendente is 350 square meters (3770 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private patio, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 2 km (1.2 miles) from Massa e Cozzile. You will find a number of restaurants and a grocery store at 5 km (roughly 3.1 miles).
To stay at Villa Splendente you will need a car. You will be able to park it inside the entrance gate.
Villa Splendente is tended by a caretaker, who resides in an annex on the premises. Swimming Pool
You will reach the swimming pool from Villa Splendente going up a walkway that cuts through the garden. The pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 15 meters (50 feet) long, from 1.20 meter (4 feet) to 1.40 meters (4.6 feet) deep. The area is equipped with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a charming view of the valley and of the hills. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.

The patio is 30 square meters (320 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the garden. It is equipped with a table and chairs.
Garden
The garden is 10000 square meters (108000 square feet). It is partly shaded by trees and by cypresses. The garden is equipped with masonry benches, as well as with a table and chairs. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy an enchanting view of the valley and of the hills. The garden, which is for your exclusive use, is occasionally crossed by the gardener.
Ground FloorLiving Room 1
The first living room is paved with ancient terracotta tiles. The ceiling has white exposed wood beams. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. There is a big fireplace made of bricks. The dining table can accommodate four guests. The room has a window with a view of the garden. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Laundry room
You will be able to reach the laundry room from the corridor. Here you will find a washing machine, a clothes dryer, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal. First FloorLiving Room 2
You will be able to enter the second living room from the dining room and from the corridor. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming, featuring some antique pieces, and include two sofas and an armchair. There is a nice fireplace. In this room you will find a flat-screen satellite television (local channels), a DVD player and a CD player with FM radio. The room has two windows with a view of the greenery and of the hills. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the living room through an arched opening. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. The room has two windows, and is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the corridor. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, an American-style refrigerator with ice-maker, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the patio and the garden. The kitchen is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The furnishings are classic and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit, and you will also find a safe. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
