HOUSE DESCRIPTION:
Welcome to ā€œTurtles Up!ā€ This beautiful 5 bedroom home is located just a short walk away from Surfside Beach. Turtles Up has an open kitchen, living, and dining area perfect for family gatherings. The kitchen features a full breakfast bar providing additional seating for 4. The kitchen is fully equipped with all large and small appliances, cookware, and dinnerware needed to prepare and serve meals. The first floor features a large living area with hardwood floors, beautiful coastal dĆ©cor, and a large flat-screen TV. The master bedroom is conveniently located on the first floor with all-new flooring, a king bed, and a private bathroom with a double sink. The second floor has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a laundry room. Two of the bedrooms upstairs feature two full beds in each room sharing a bathroom and a third bedroom with a queen bed and private bathroom. An additional master bedroom is also on the second floor featuring a king bed and a private bathroom with a double sink. Enjoy a covered balcony on each floor on the front of the house as well as a covered balcony off of the downstairs master bedroom overlooking the private fenced-in pool. Additional seating around the updated pool area with an outdoor TV and new enclosed outdoor shower. Seasonal pool heat and pool cooling are available for an additional fee. Please see our Pet Policy that applies to all Pet-friendly homes, which is strictly enforced.

Sea Star Realty offers the most luxurious linens in the area. Including resort-quality plush towels, hand towels, face cloths, bath mats, and high thread-count sheets of superior quality for each bed in your vacation home (including sofa beds). In each bath, youā€™ll find complimentary elegant soaps. Waiting for you in your kitchen are kitchen towels, along with some complimentary items, including dish soap, and a kitchen sponge. Best of all, the beds will be made prior to your arrival, and towels pre-hung in the bathrooms!

We allowed our daughter who recently graduated to bring a couple friends and there was plenty of room in this house. We really enjoyed watching movies by the pool with the outdoor entertainment area. We had a maintenance issue and the Sea Star staff were very accommodating and quick to respond. We really recommend this home for any family needing a beach getaway!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Would have loved to have given this house 5 stars, but it was very frustrating to us not to be able to operate the Apple TVs to access network TV. The owner left a link to YouTube video we couldn't understand. We had Sea Star maintenance come over and they couldn't help either. Owner says they have a FUBO subscription, but we were asked to pay for it. We were able to stream Amazon and Netflix, but some guests wanted network TV. Would recommend owners print some screen shots of how to operate the Apple TV to get to their cable subscription.

NC beach bums!!

Needs new pots and pans! Frying pans are no good! Refrigerator freezer dips inside fridge, placed measuring cup to catch dripping water! Upstairs master bedroom shower slow to drain! Surfside has a lot of beach rules that we NC beach bums were not used too!! No dogs on beach( not even in afternoon/evening hours)no alcohol (which was easy to be discreet) umbrella has to be a certain place on beach!! We did enjoy the beach , house.... Just not NC I guess!! Overall nice place!

Vacation 2021

We had a very enjoyable time. The property was as described. Location was good. The cleanliness was lacking quite a bit. The overall place felt dirty. The couches and seats at the kitchen table had stains and just felt dirty. A lot of personal under the decks areas. We werenā€™t sure if it was the owners or the previous guest. A lot of sidewalk chalk drawings and clumps of chalk in the parking area at the steps when we arrived.

Great House

Love the house. Unfortunately I think the cleaning people could do a much better job. Need to clean the floors and dust a lot better. There were big stains on the carpet on the landing. Also all the chairs at the kitchen table had stains on them. The amount the house cost to rent, the overall cleaning should be 100% since COVID.

Nice location

This house was very nice & in the perfect location. Just 1 block from beach. The pier down the road is a must see.. Live bands, arcade, bar. Great time at the pier. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook & feed your party. New dishes, cups, glasses, eating utensils. 2 coffee makers, a Keurig & also a regular coffee maker. The house has everything a house needs, except one thing, a blow dryer. Not a big deal my family brought there's. The smart tv was hard to figure out. But once I got it it got easier to work.. Great house. I would definitely recommend this place. I will be back next year!

Great House

This house was perfect for our group of 10. The location was amazing. Just a short, safe walk to the beach. We were very comfortable there. The property management group was very easy to contact and very accommodating. The house has recently been updated and you can tell. We loved the pool and porches. Would definitely stay there again!
