Completely Updated With All The Upgrades!
This is a BEAUTIFUL Premier Ocean Front Flat and is set inside our Gated Community. It has LVP Flooring throughout, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Full Baths, and is a Ground Floor Unit with Lighted Ceiling Fans in each room and bright LED Lighting throughout. It comfortably sleeps six (6) with room to spare. The Ocean Front Master is furnished with a Deluxe King Bed w/Nightstands, Dresser/Mirror, Flat Screen TV and tiled Walk-In Shower. The Guest has two (2) Twin Beds w/ Nightstand, 5-Drawer Chest, Flat Screen TV, and a tiled Shower/Tub Combo in the 2nd Bathroom. There is also a Fluted Queen Murphy Bed between the Living and Dining area. The Ocean Front Living Room has a Sofa, Love Seat, Lounge Chair and Ottoman, Crown Molding, 50" Electric Fire Place, 60" Big Screen TV w/DVD Player, Coffee Table and End Tables. The Dining Room has a Six (6) Person Leafed Table. The Kitchen is Fully stocked and has Granite Counters, Grey S/S appliances, Single Serve Keurig and Multi-Serve coffee pots. All three (3) Flat Screens are Wall Mounted HDTV's with HDMI Inputs to add your games or Firesticks. Upgraded Cable and Boxes which includes HD Package, Smart Apps, and Voice Activated Remotes. Unit has a Washer & Dryer, Hurricane Impact Resistant Windows (w/Plantation Shutters) and Doors, and includes High Speed WiFi Internet. This is a Non-Smoking Unit with No Pets Allowed. There is no stairs to climb or carrying beach equipment up and down. It has a large back patio with table and lounge chairs that looks directly at the ocean and has the Beach Walk-Over right next to it. Rentals are Monthly Only for Jan-Mar and Weekly Only for Apr-Dec. Summerhouse has 4 Temperature Controlled Pools, 4 Tennis Courts, 4 Racquetball Courts, 8 Pickleball Courts, 4 Beach Walk-Overs, Shuffle Board, and an RV/Boat Storage Area. There are 2 Grilling Areas for the family and 2 Playgrounds for the kids conveniently located at either end of the property. There is a small Book Library and a Fitness Room available during normal business hours.

The only thing we would recommend is that the floors are cleaned better before arriving. We had some dirty feet walking on it the first night. Otherwise everything was great. 🙂

It is very close to the beach access and the pool. Parking spot is directly in front of the door. The condo is roomy and was very clean. The complex is gated and opens by scanning your license plate which makes it very convenient. The beach access is gated as well and beach is very family friendly. We spent the last week of July there and it was very peaceful. No crowds at the pool or beach. Have stayed at Summerhouse for two years and will continue to spend our summer vacations there.

Reviewer Comments: Little did we know, after paying for a beachfront condo, that we were going to be in a continuous construction zone for the entire week.. This met having our windows blockaded so we could not use the door to go to the beach. There is continuous grinding and dust all day long. On top of that, the actual condo owner, who is president of the owner association came by and complained to us about leaving the screen door open. He was a real *******. The reaction to this was they refunded 200 of our $3300 bill the owner refunded nothing we will never be back.

The unit had been cleaned with strong cleaning chemicals and the odor was so strong, it was hard to breathe. It permeated the furniture too, and you could smell it outside. The decor was rather sterile- no rugs of any kind, even in the bedroom. The view was beautiful, but all the oceanfront units have similar views. Our family has been staying at Summerhouse for over thirty years and it is wonderful, but this unit was not comfortable or welcoming.

The washer is strange. But it worked. We felt the unit needed a thorough cleaning especially under beds and behind chest-heavy dust and dirt. Murphy bed was comfortable. We love coming to Summerhouse and have returned for MANY years. This is a nice unit but not my first choice.

Beautiful Unit / View but Privacy and Security Issues!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was immaculate, modern and very well furnished with everything you need. The view and proximity to the ocean were fantastic. However, upon entering our unit, we noticed that the deadbolt lock was broken. We immediately notified the office. This was day 1 of our 8 night stay. On day 2 we called again to check on the status of our repair request and were told it would be taken care of asap. Day 3, lock still not repaired AND A MAN ENTERED OUR CONDO UNANNOUNCED WITH A KEY! This man did not work for Summerhouse, and was not there to repair the lock! He first claimed he was maintenance personnel...then when I followed him out the door, he said he was a friend of the owner checking on the smoke detectors. REALLY?? Once again we notified management with no explanation. I requested they contact the owner and get back to me with an explanation! Never heard from Summerhouse management the rest of our stay, although we inquired EVERYDAY about the lock and our unannounced intruder (for lack of a better word). The lock was never fixed and we never got an explanation on why a stranger entered our unit with a key. Enough said!!

Nice Holiday Getaway

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this unit over Thanksgiving during the pandemic. We were quite comfortable with the cleanliness of the unit and our ability to walk the beach safely. We fixed a traditional Thanksgiving meal easily enough in the well-appointed kitchen. The Roku TV was a bit of a disappointment in that my husband had to watch the football games on the small TV in the bedroom, where the traditional TV stations were located. If there was a way to watch Xfinity in the living room, we never figured it out, although we tried. It would be helpful to have specific instructions on how to use the entertainment equipment. The king bed in the master bedroom is comfortable, although it’s exceptionally high and hard to get in and out of, especially if you are short (like me) or have mobility issues. Still, we were very happy with our stay. We hope to return and explore more of the area and the other amenities once it’s safer to do so.

Everything was fresh and new, the building is smaller, so quieter. Very relaxing.
