Amazing location. Some problems with the amenities in the house like the washer and dryer just plain doesnā€™t work, and the pull out couch is wildly uncomfortable. Staff is nice.

Close to the Lifts in Well Equiped, but Dated Lodging

This condo in the Black Bear complex is very well located for skiing,,,,but has not been updated in many years.So, expect convenience and cleanliness, but not super modern amenities (old kitchen, tub, showers, washer/dryer, coffee maker...etc.).Also, with the heightened fire station in front it does not get much natural light.All that aside, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equiped in terms of pots, pans, and table ware. Having a parking spot is great, and the lifts really are 2 minutes from your door.

Great family spot for a park city stay

Perfect size for my family of 5 . It was nice to have separate sleeping spaces and a living room and kitchen . And the 3 bathrooms was very convenient.

Great stay!

We had a really great time staying in this property. Perfect locations-close to the stores and restaurants and to the hiking trails. We enjoyed using a hot tub outside. The beds were comfy with lots of extra blankets and pillows. I liked that I didnā€™t have to buy toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent-everything was provided. The place is very cozy!

The property location was ideal & in a beautiful area. The condo itself needs some upgrades since as carpet, kitchen upgrade, bathroom upgrades & needs new mattresses on the beds. The condo itself did have a smell of cigarette smoke as if someone had smoked in there or possibly a neighbor had been smoking. No AC in the unit so it was a little stuffy without a fan(there was one provided in the unit) Management was awesome and would get right back to me when I had questions.

Fun weekend get away with a cabin feel

We enjoyed our time the pool and hot tub were nice. The home was well equipped and comfortable. Some upgrades could be made to furniture. Lightning was a bit dim. Great value!

The condo was nice but not worth price

The condoā€™s fireplace did not work, there was no patio furniture, beds are not comfortable as well as the heating system didnā€™t work evenly - bedrooms were very hot while living space was freezing. Tried to clean up floors and there was a broom with no dust pan, vacuum that was broke, and the hot water in the bathtubs were almost non existent . We cooked the entire stay- the condo needs to be updated- kitchen drawer handles are stripped , microwave doesnā€™t rotate and the water filter in freezer needs replaced - the ice taste moldy. The mattress on the pullout is like a hospital bed - our guest slept on floor because it was so uncomfortable. The condo did its job but for the price I was very disappointed in the LACK of luxury it gave.

Great lacation!!

We had a great vacation in this Deer Valley location. While slightly dated the unit location was fantastic. Very clean and pretty well kept. We had to rent this unit through Vacasa and I would never recommend Vacasa to anyone. Go with another rental platform including Vrbo who I have used in the past.

not a six person condo

i would like to speak to the manager/owner. fortunately we had friends in Deer valley. the pull out sofa is barely a mattress. it is like sleeping on a spring. you can't market that unit as sleeping six people unless you get a new sofa with a real BED. we really should receive money back, as i said, my son was forced to sleep away as it was unbearable.

Great location and spacious property

My 10 year old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo in Black Bear Lodge. We booked a last minute trip to Deer Valley for a long weekend and this was one of the few affordable properties that was within walking distance of the slopes. The unit is very spacious and could very comfortably sleep 4 people. The kitchen is well-stocked. We didn't have any issues while we were here so I didn't have any reason to get in touch with the property manager. The unit is a bit dated but it more than makes up for it with the location and size for the price. I would absolutely stay here again.
