This property sleeps up to 8 guests total, including children and infants. A maximum of 2 guests may be children under 12.

The Ocean Blue at Seascape is an oceanfront retreat designed for time together. With sweeping Atlantic views, three king bedrooms, inviting gathering spaces, and a large deck overlooking the water, it is especially well suited for couples traveling together, adult family trips, or a memorable getaway with close friends.

Inside, the villa feels bright, polished, and comfortable, with high ceilings, thoughtful coastal design, and plenty of room to spread out. Start the morning with coffee in the sun-filled reading nook, spend the day on the beach just steps away, then return for dinner, drinks, and conversation with the ocean as your backdrop.

Guests especially love the spacious deck, beautifully updated kitchen, comfortable beds, and the easy flow of the home for groups. Located on Kiawah’s West Beach near Cougar Point, Ocean Blue offers the kind of setting that makes it easy to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the island together.


Please note that this property does not include access to the Kiawah Island Golf Resort pools.

To help you enjoy your time on the beach, we provide beach towels and a cooler in the property.

Additionally, beach chairs, sun shades, bikes, boogie boards, and baby equipment are also available for rent.

To ensure fairness for all guests, our rates are set using dynamic pricing and are not negotiable. We are unable to offer discounts or adjust rates upon request.

PLEASE NOTE - MOBILITY INFORMATION: There are 30 steps to reach the entrance and an additional 15 steps to access the loft.

Lovely place with a wonderful ocean view! Our 2 weeks stay was quite nice.Kitchen stocked with anything we'd need as well.Listing does not indicate long flight of stairs to get to condo, 30 full steps up, could pose issues for older individuals as well as those that have physical needs.

We sincerely apologize that the listing did not clearly indicate the number of stairs required to climb prior to you making a reservation. In all of our reservation platform listings, we provide an image that clearly shows the stairs required to access the property. However, unknown to us, the image was removed from the VRBO platform due to the words on the image. There are other photos of the stairs that lead to the property, but you may not have noticed them. Regardless, we failed to communicate this important detail. One of nicest stays we’ve had on the Carolina coast! The welcome when we walked in was first class - the snack, the bottle of wine, the fresh flowers and even the music all set the stage for an amazingly relaxing stay. And that was before we saw the view! Even arranging bikes for all of us was easy and worry-free. It was a perfect family getaway.

We had a wonderful stay in this home. It was impeccably kept and clean which is our top priority The outdoor space was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our morning yoga out on the deck. Beach access was very close and easy to navigate back and forth with our wagon full of chairs etc. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a beautiful home with a great view.

A picture perfect home with direct access to the beach. Each and every detail was well thought out to provide my family with a wonderful stay. Beautiful furnishings, high end appliances, a deck we lived on and oh those beds! We reluctantly left happy, well rested and filled with new memories. We will be back.

The most PERFECT beach house

Cannot say enough about this property and the hosts, Jeanette and Shawn! Our first time to Kiawah Island and everything about the house was exceptional! The interior design was stunning with breathtaking ocean views! They were so thoughtful to go above and beyond with all the little touches! We will absolutely be back!

Lovely property

Beautifully redone Seascape unit - we have stayed in seascape units many times over the years but Ocean Blue is by far the most luxurious. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Used Groceries Ahead as well and everything was so easy.

Tish - I feel as if I should be leaving YOUR family a review instead. I would say: "Classy family, very easy to work with - even solved a HUGE problem that we had been having with our crazy Italian-made range. These folks left the property in perfect shape and I would love for every guest to be just like them!"...BTW - Dan with Groceries Ahead is indeed awesome as well - easy to work with prior to guests' arrival.

We had a fabulous stay at the Ocean Blue. Our hosts were gracious and responsive throughout the entire process. It was our first visit to Kiawah, so we especially appreciated advance guidance on bike rentals. In addition to its beachfront location, the condo itself is beautifully appointed and yet very comfortable - plenty of indoor/outdoor spaces perfect for visiting, reading or napping. The place is neatly organized and super clean. We loved the easy beach and bike trail access. We walked the beach every day and enjoyed long bike rides on the extensive Kiawah trail system. The Ocean Blue is a special place and the Kiawah Vacations team is top notch. You can't ask for better!

Relaxing Retreat

The Ocean Blue created the perfect place to be our sanctuary on the beach. It is extremely quiet, no crowds. The location was close to Cougar Point golf…a daily stop even if just to use the driving range. We also enjoyed the ease to get to locations off Kiawah. The property has THE BEST outdoor space for early morning coffee and for late night vigils waiting for the moon to rise. Every little need from chip clips to baggies are thoughtfully provided.It is are new “go-to” favorite while visiting Kiawah!

A Perfect Kiawah Getaway!If you’re looking for a beautiful and thoughtfully designed place to enjoy Kiawah, The Ocean Blue at Seascape is the perfect choice for you and your family. We had a wonderful stay—even though the weather didn’t cooperate! The beds were comfortable, the home was spotless, and the view of the ocean was absolutely fantastic.We came to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 85th birthday and were greeted with delicious deviled eggs in the refrigerator and a lovely arrangement of “Happy Birthday” flowers. Such genuine Southern hospitality!Every detail was well thought out, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful ocean front property. Decor was lovely, kitchen was well stocked and many amenities. Some disappointments: ants in kitchen, no towel bath mats, pillows super hard, and had to start wash with linens before departure …typically done by cleaners at turn over. However, top rate condo with many luxuries…perfect for four adult mature woman.

Perfection

I asked our entire party of teens and adults and there was not one complaint. The location is amazing with a beautiful view and acoustics from the porch. The beds, bathrooms, furnishings, kitchen appliances were high quality. Communication and suggestions from our hosts were incredibly helpful. I would feel so grateful to do it all again. I highly recommend!!!!

Peaceful beach stay

This property is CLEAN, beautiful and in the perfect location. The walk to the beach was very short. The beds were very comfortable. We truly loved the space and plan to revisit this villa in the future. The only negative we encountered was there isn’t any pool access, it wasn’t a huge deal we just went to the beach. It wasn’t advertised there was a pool, and this was something we missed when booking. The space is exactly as pictured and the outdoor area is very nice!! The communication was very thorough leading up to our check in and even throughout our stay with recommendations!!

Perfect

Great location with a very healing environment. We felt so relaxed here! Beautifully appointed unit exactly like the photos. Clean. Super comfortable beds. The property manager was very accommodating and installed several window screens for us so we could open the windows. We'd love to return, but the non-refundable deposit a year in advance is something we're not comfortable with. Be sure you're up to dragging your luggage up a steep and slippery when wet flight of exterior stairs.

Everything about this place is AMAZING!

We had the best Labor Day weekend with friends. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The view was breathtaking. I can’t say enough good things about this house and the location.

Lovely vacation

This house will not disappoint. My family was so pleased with our well equipped the entire house was, there was plenty of cooking utensils, the host was even to thoughtful to leave a cooler for us to use. The linens were of great quality and the beds were so comfortable. We will be back!!

Marathon Weekend

This Unit exceeded all our expectations. The process was exceptionally easy and the location was exactly what we desired. Both the sunrise and sunset from the large porch was magical.

About Property Managers, Shawn and Jeanette Lawson (Kiawah Island Getaways):

Shawn's family discovered Kiawah in 1978 and returned year after year for two-week vacations. In 1985 we drove our VW Bug convertible to Kiawah and Shawn introduced me to Kiawah. I remember stepping over the dune boardwalk out in front of the Kiawah Island Inn and seeing Kiawah's wide, sandy beach for the first time - it was so brilliant it practically danced before my eyes. It was during this vacation that the two of us decided to set our sights on moving to this beautiful and fascinating place permanently.

In 1988 our dreams came true and our U-Haul rattled across the Kiawah Island bridge (at that time it was nothing more than a wood-planked bridge). For the next four years we rented a 1-bedroom villa, 4251 Mariner's Watch. Shawn was so thrilled to be living on the island that he applied for the personalized South Carolina license plate 'KIAWAH' (which we still have today).

In 1992, we built our first home on the island at 134 Conifer Lane. During construction, I gave birth to our first son Benjamin - he arrived 2 months early in an ambulance outside of the Kiawah Island Fire Station.

In 2001, we purchased our first villa, a 1-bedroom, beachside Seascape and Kiawah Island Getaways was born. Once we got our feet wet with the villa rental business, it was a like a fever for us. We both really enjoyed furnishing, decorating and maintaining the villas - not to mention the new found fun of meeting and talking to all sorts of people about Kiawah. Because we really enjoy what we do, other Kiawah property owners noticed and we started managing their properties as well.

Our whole family loves Kiawah and running Kiawah Island Getaways is a true family-run business. We personally prepare each villa prior to your arrival - because we want your stay to be perfect. We want you to fall in love with Kiawah too...and we know you will.
