Walking along the beach to the centre of Corralejo, there are various beaches and coves, along with bars and restaurants. A mere 5 minute drive takes you to the extensive sand dune beach called Grandes Playas.

Fuerteventura has an all year round warm temperature, a haven for sun loving people. Corralejo is a wonderful holiday resort with lots of water sports (Surfing, Wing Foiling, Swimming, Paddle Boarding, Snorkelling and Wind Surfing). There are many hire centres for all these sports. Great for children as lots of soft sand to play on,. Many beaches have sun loungers and umbrellas, bars and restaurants. Walking along the beaches in Corralejo is a must, watching the wildlife of birds in some areas, along with a wander around the harbour. Trips are available to Lobos Island, Lanzarote, and dolphin and whale watching. Jet skiing across the bay. Dune buggy expeditions is also available. The El Campanario centre have craft markets on a Sunday and Thursday mornings, with local artisan stalls. Also Hyperdino Supermarket for the essentials.
In the evening a visit to Music Square is a must, with bands playing every evening, and other bars and restaurants also have their own entertainments. Corralejo has many different restaurants, Spanish and Tapas, Italian, Pizza restaurants, English, Steak houses. The Spanish love a festival, and during the year, there are a lot, including carnivals and kite festival. Outside the resort, trips to El Cotillo on the north east coast and the old capital of Betancuria, and the statues of the ancient kings Guise and Ayose.
