BEAUTIFUL SOUTHWEST HOME ON 6-ACRES WITH VIEWS FROM EVERY WINDOW!

THE HOUSE: This quiet beautiful home sits on 6-acres with a barn, that makes you feel like you're in the country even though you're minutes from conveniences you need. The house is in a unique valley near Golden, Colorado, tucked into the foothills with beautiful views from every room!

For those who love to be outside, there are several hiking/biking and horse trails nearby or you can snuggle up in front of the fireplace with a good book/movie and just relax. We have traveled extensively and collected items from all over the world inspiring comments that the house is a “show home” with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Upstairs is the master suite and bath, a guest bedroom with full bath, and a study - all with large windows framing amazing views even from the steam/shower and soaking tub. Downstairs has a theater room with a bed, a study, a full bath, and an open floorplan that contains a front entry that welcomes you to a family room, fully stocked kitchen and nook, and piano room. From there you access the back flagstone patio, partially covered for shade and containing sweeping views of the valley and surrounding foothills. Central to this area is a beautiful waterfall and pond containing koi and large goldfish that play in the summer and hibernate in the winter. Free internet is accessible throughout the house and on the patio/decks.

NEARBY TOWNS: From the house, you’re within a few minutes of Golden, a quaint little town with a “Welcome to the West” atmosphere, multiple breweries and lots of activities (https://www.cityofgolden.net/play). You're also ~20 minutes to the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater; ~30 minutes to Denver, Boulder and gambling in Blackhawk/Central City; and ~1.5 hours to several ski areas, snowmobiling, sleigh rides and other recreational fun in the majestic Rocky Mountains.

RENTAL GUIDELINES: Because of the unique nature of the house, there is a minimum stay of 2 weeks with preference/discounts for monthly or longer stays. All renters will get a personalized introduction to the house and surrounding area by either myself or Patrick, who helps manage the property. The barn is available for storage, and the potential to keep horses/llamas or other animals onsite. Inside pets are negotiable per discussion with owner. Because of the quiet nature of the neighborhood and property, no parties allowed.
