Bubba's Cabin - Modern Rustic Lakefront Cabin

Like something out of "Southern Living” magazine, this original 1950 cabin has been completely restored. It's very rare because it is only 12 feet from the waters edge and you can no longer build that close to the shoreline. We used reclaimed artifacts from the original cabin whenever possible. It's rustic yet has all of the modern conveniences. The view of the lake is simply amazing....there is a 240 degree water view around the cabin.

There are decks galore. Right off the kitchen is the large side deck. On the lower level is the large deck overlooking the lake. There is an expansive deck off the back of the cabin right up to the waters edge and there is also a dry deck below the side deck with plenty of outdoor furniture to relax, even when the weather is not cooperating.

You also have unlimited use of our kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and you are welcome to bring your own boat if you like. And if you would like to rent a pontoon for the day or a full week, we can arrange for that.

Located on Lake Wylie, we are a short 25 minutes from Charlotte Douglas Airport, 30 minutes to Uptown Charlotte, and 35 minutes to South Park and Ballantyne areas.
