A completely renovated house, all new, excellent neighborhood very quiet, just walked to restaurants,
deal location that is central to downtown and easily accessible to I-275. Quiet neighborhood that is walking distance to many amenities (.3 - 1.5 miles). Only 10 minutes from Airport, Ben Davis Beach and sporting venues (Lightning, Bucs and spring training park). Hidden gem in Cyprus Point Park which has running trails and a beach (5 minute drive from house). 10 minutes to international mall, 10 to MacDill Air Force Base, and Amelia Arena.

This was a short stay and first time in Tampa. The location of the property was excellent, easy to drive to. Close distance to restaurants and not far from Raymond James Stadium which we attended a concert and the purpose of the journey. If there is concert again in Tampa and we are going will check to see if this property is available. Perfect for me and the family. Recommended.

The positives are that this place was fairly clean and the backyard was nice for our little dog. The negatives were we had two couples staying there and the bathroom door, not only wouldn’t lock, but it wouldn’t even shut all the way which was awkward. There also was no soap in the whole unit and no pods for the dishwasher. The advertising is misleading because it insinuates that Whole Foods is right across the street but it’s actually a half a mile walk. The other negative is that it’s basically one block off the interstate and not a very pretty or pleasant area.Loud at night. Also the host directed that the AC unit not be set below 70 degs because it would “freeze up “ which is ridiculous. For the price, just over 200 per night with the pet fee perhaps that is good for two couples in South Tampa.

Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your experience during your stay. I'm glad to hear that you found the property clean and that your dog enjoyed the backyard. I apologize for the issues you encountered. Regarding the bathroom door, it was a small issue with a screw that wasn’t fitting properly, but we’ve already addressed it. I appreciate you pointing that out. In our welcome message said we don’t provide laundry detergent, the soap is in a dispenser next to the faucet, if that's what you mean. I left the hand soap and shower gel containers filling myself. As for the air conditioning, we’ve had some guests set it to extremely low temperatures (around 50°F), which causes the system to freeze up and results in unnecessary thecnician effects,That’s why we ask guests to be mindful of the temperature settings to avoid this problem. Regarding the location, the neighborhood is currently undergoing significant development, with many new homes being built, some valued over 1M. As for Whole Foods, we’ve never stated that it’s directly across the street, but we do mention that it’s within walking distance. I understand that expectations can vary, though, and I appreciate your perspective. I’m sorry that the area felt noisy to you. While being close to the interstate can generate some noise, we do try to provide a comfortable and convenient stay for guests visiting the area. Thank you!

Perfect stay

This was a great place to stay in Tampa. Conveniently located, clean, quiet and a nice neighborhood. Plenty of parking and the house was exactly as described. Check in was easy and communication with the owner was smooth. She was super responsive and helpful. I definitely will stay here again when in Tampa.

Great place to lay your head

Embarking on a visit to our cherished friends in the vibrant South Tampa neighborhood, we sought a haven that would serve as our home away from home. This delightful abode, conveniently nestled just a stone's throw away from South Tampa, offered a harmonious blend of affordability and comfort. The two spacious bedrooms became sanctuaries for our little ones, providing them with the perfect napping nooks while we savored moments in the living area. We will certainly be using this location again for future trips to the Bay.

The house was fine. The location was perfect. The issue is that after check out the host messaged us and told us they were charging us for burned pots and pans..mind you we did not use those pots and pans at all bc they were already burned and unusable. Our family also came to see us off as we were in town visiting and they told us we had extra guest and they were chargins us 20 a person. I ended up messaging them back and letting them know they should be ashamed of themselves for trying to find more ways to get money out of guest and they didnt respond and they never charged us but its the pure audacity to attempt to take advantage and cheat people out of money that caused me to give them a 1 star

I knew you would leave this review after we complained about you breaking our house rules, that there were more guests than allowed on the property, and we found evidence of boxes of air mattresses, and we charged extra fees you for burning our pots and for extra guests.

Great Place to Stay in Tampa

I grew up in West Tampa and the property was a perfect location for me. Close to my Mom's house, the mall, great restaurants, beaches, etc. The house was just as advertised, very clean and neat. Loved the screened in back porch! A few amenities were missing that I thought they should have like laundry detergent, but that did not take away from our stay. I will book again if it's available.

Short 3 night stay

We enjoyed our stay and once inside the home, tho an older home, had been somewhat updated and we enjoyed. However, the following occurred that we could only give an average score: **cockroches inside and out **appearance of front yard and back yard not very pleasing Therefore, it does not come highly recommended.

The house was completely renovated and it is fumigated every bimonthly with professional pest control company. The garden doesn’t have sprinklers and the weather has been very dry, we definitely will work in our garden. I’m really appreciate your review that helps us to be better every day. This is a family business and we put all our love and dedication to make our guests feel at home.

Excellent location for our family of 3!

The location of this home is just perfect! It’s adjacent to excellent restaurants and Whole Foods. Oddly enough, it’s adjacent to the freeway but it’s a super quiet neighborhood. We walked one block and the neighbors were friendly. It’s a convenient location that’s quick and easy to access. There is no street parking, which is why there is a 2 car limit to park in the driveway. The streets are narrow - but keeps the roads clear! The home is quaint and clean. It was perfect for my family of 3. The rooms were comfortable and so were the beds. Everything was in working order. The proximity to the airport was crazy close too! We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Wonderful Family Property Close To Downtown

This property was wonderful for my family of 4 to stay in while visiting Tampa. The home was clean and well maintained. The rooms were nice, open, and inviting. We were able to come and go as needed and this location was close to lots of restaurants, shopping, and downtown Tampa. The home was easy to get to and close to the major highway. Everything worked inside the home (Kitchen appliances, bathroom, washer/dryer) as expected. You could tell the owner took care of the property. The outdoor patio in the back was a nice added feature. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again.

Unexpected Jewel

Last minute accommodations for my sister's wedding. The property we originally tried to book was no longer available. We weren't sure what to expect for the unbelievable price. The accommodations were the same as pictured, but much more cozy!! Very close to mall, all the conveniences of home and then some. Loved the place. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

Can’t tell a book by its cover

INTERIOR: This place’s interior was surprisingly very nice (why surprisingly; see EXTERIOR below)….very clean, neat, nice room layout, pleasant wall/room furnishings, flawless air conditioning, Appliances worked just fine. Minor item, wall towel rack kept coming off the wall due to drywall screw inserts. LOCATION: Perfect travel location for quick access to major roads & highways. However, first impression of neighborhood was questionable relative to safety, although, we had no issues. OWNER COMMUNICATION Very responsive and detailed in booking prosess. Did not need to contact them during our 8-day stay. EXTERIOR: The exterior leaves a”lLOT” to be desired. Hence “you can’t tell a book by its cover”. Front door badly in need of paint and cushions on chair at entrance were terrible- ripped with stuffing all coming out-these 2 items alone would turn away renters if seen before booking. The white molding by door looks as if the door was jarred open in the past. Front lawn is merely small patches of grass, large patches of sand, and ant holes. Lastly a similar back yard, yet worse. All this would potentially turn away renters if seen beforehand. FINAL TAKEAWAYS: As Senior Citizens (upper 70’s) visiting our granddaughter at UT, and sight seeing the greater Tampa Area, this 8-night October 2023 stay served our needs just fine. After seeing the “exterior” Andrew “neighborhood”, our opinion is that the rental was overpriced.

Nice bungalow near many great things to enjoy in Tampa.

Provided everything you can have to enjoy a comfortable stay. The kitchen was amazing with nice appliances. Cozy bedrooms, nice screened in sun porch and fenced in yard. Good for kids and pet. The host didn’t leave much out even a great tv , toys and games I loved staying here. Walking in the neighborhood. Lots of nice restaurants and high end grocery store options!

Cute house, great location for easy access

Very good communication Check in process was simple House needs a deep clean. Lots of dust and pet hair in window sills and on blinds. A few maintenance issues. Shower is coming out of the wall. Electric Trash can top broken. Not many towels provided but we managed. Overall a great stay - location great for access to highway. We were there for a concert and a golf tournament.

Staycation

We will definitely keep this place in mind when staying in Tampa. The house was secluded enough so we had our privacy when at the home, but it was still close enough to everything that we didn’t need to worry about a far drive. Plus our sweet lab really enjoyed the fenced in backyard. 😊

A good basic rental home

Nothing fancy, but gave us a good home base to explore the Tampa area. Safe area with excellent access to freeways, retail businesses, supermarkets, restaurants etc.

Very Clean and Convenient Location

The house was very clean with nice kitchen appliances. They have a Keurig coffee maker. The ice maker worked great which I really like. We cook most of our own meals on vacation to save money and because it is hard to find really good vegetarian restaurants. Everything looked new! I really liked the bed linens because they felt great. I looked at the tag since I want to buy that brand when I go home. We had a lot of meals on the screen porch at the lovely table. Our dogs loved the fenced back yard and chasing the squirrels and a brave cat was the highlight of their trip. We used the washer several times and appreciated having it. The thing I really loved is that we were in a residential neighborhood but close to grocery stores, parks, shopping centers, restaurants, and could hop on interstate or major thoroughfares in less than 5 minutes. Owner immediately responded to any questions we had by email. Highly recommend!
