My husband and I and our two adult children stayed here for four nights in Jan 2025. Our first impression was WOW! It was even better than we expected. In the photos it appeared that the bed in the downstairs bedroom was against the wall. To our delight it was not. There was plenty of room for someone to get out of bed without climbing over. We were thrilled with this because I am a handicapped person and navigating the stairs would have been a problem for me. There is a full bath downstairs only a few steps from the bedroom. It was very clean and comfortably furnished. It is an old property, so it has its quirks, like uneven floors and very steep stairs. The second night we were there we didn't have hot water. I called the management company first thing the next morning, a Saturday, and they had someone out to fix it immediately! The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The location was better than expected. It was in walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see. The only parking is street paid parking. Even with a handicapped placard you still have to pay in Savannah. I recommend you purchase a parking permit when you arrive for the length of your stay. We were always able to find a parking space adjacent to the property. We would gladly stay here again if we are ever back in Savannah.
