Great Place - Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The George Jones cottage is a lovingly restored 200-year-old home. It is in a central location in the historic district. We took advantage of the on/off Old Trolley Tours, Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room, the First African Baptist Church tour, and a trip to Bonaventure Cemetery for a golf cart tour. And then there was the seafood ... Thank you to the owners for the notebook with the history and photos of the process. A challenge came up for us old people the form of a steep staircase with no rail for the last 3 steps, but we figured it out.

George Jones Cottage Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the experience was positive. The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We utilized street-side parking which was convenient. The house does sleep 6, as advertised, however, there are only 3 recliners so the other 3 guests are stuck in dining chairs...very uncomfortable. The lighting is poor. There are track lights in the LR but they are not easily adjustable so some guests are stuck with a very bright light in their eyes. The TV worked well, however the remote in the LR needs to be replaced...the buttons do not respond well. We were a group of 6 women all over the age of 70. We would not stay there again because the stairs are too steep for senior citizens. It's a nice place for a younger group of 4 but if they don't upgrade the LR seating do NOT attempt this house with a group of 6.

Lucky Savannah was great to work with and the historic home was incredible. To know we were staying in a home where the owner helped shape American history was really special! We didn’t rent a cat at all and spent entire weekend walking to see all the sites. Numerous restaurants & bars to choose from. Make sure you visit St John the Baptist cathedral & the speakeasy underneath The Old Pink House - a blast!! Can’t wait to return!!

Weekend in Savannah

This was a very nice location to enjoy historic Savannah. Both couples enjoyed the home, the location, and even the ease of parking there. This would be an easy choice for another visit to Savannah.

Great place and perfect location

The house was adorable and we loved the location. Had some problems with the heat, but the management was quick to fix it. Neighbors are loud, butI would totally stay there again. Great place.

Conference and Long Weekend

This place was so charming and the location was perfect for my work conference and just enjoying the city. We did not have any issues getting parking near the house and found almost everything we wanted to enjoy was within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Amazing location

We had such a great time! The location was perfect for walking down to River Street. On street parking was very easy and available-we were able to park 3 cars-I highly suggest you download the ap! The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

Birthday celebration

Amazing location! We were able to park on the street next to the house the whole time. So fun to have the horse drawn carriages drive by. Lots of history to the house.

The place was nice, but the beds were rock hard which made for long night and sore hips.

Other then hard beds and only three comfortably chairs in the living room, We liked our stay.

Wonderful Weekend

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is unique and close to everything! For those with mobility issues, know that the stairs to the second level are very steep.

Great girls weekend

Two friends and I stayed for a long girls weekend in Savannah and had a great time at this property! Centrally located and easy walking distance to all big attractions. The rental was clean, the managers were very friendly, and there was plenty of room for all of us to stay comfortably. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back!

Time Travel!

We stepped back in time with this lovely cottage! Very cozy, great location to walk all around the North Historic District with all its beautiful homes and all the fun things to do. We hardly needed our car… Savannah did not disappoint!

Great Super Clean Spot!

Awesome place to stay. Close walking distance to everything. Super clean. Fully loaded with Kitchen supplies-(even a wine bottle opener! We forgot ours) Easy check-in easy check-out! Highly recommend

Savannah Adulting Weekend

This location was perfect for walking around & parking. We were (3) couples with (3) vehicles and had no issues with parking or getting around by foot. The cottage had plenty of space for us.

Quick getaway

Good location, walked all over Savannah! For those that don’t know, parking is usually an additional cost about everywhere in Savannah. Paid parking is available right in front of the house - Savannah has a nice app for your phone that makes it easy.

Perfect historic cottage

Beautiful, historic cottage. We felt like we had stepped back in time. Rooms were roomy and comfortable. The living room only accommodates 3 people, which was tough for 3 couples. The downstairs tub was uneven, so be careful when showering. This cottage was close to everything and we walked everywhere.
