This beautiful row house in Historic Downtown Savannah was built in 1872. Meticulously restored and renovated, this home offers the comforts of soft beds, a fully stocked and remodeled kitchen, 52' TV, and Wi-Fi, as well as the historic beauty of original hardwood floors, 11 ft ceilings, 9 ft high pocket doors, and four fireplaces (inoperable). Just a short walk away from Forsyth Park, City Market, River Street, and Broughton Street, you won't need your car to get to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Wander out the front door to Calhoun Square, or around the corner where famous Forsyth Park is just two blocks away. Close enough to walk to everything, but in a quiet residential area. Easy meter-free parking on the street just out front.

Non-destructive pets welcome.

This listing is for the upper two stories of the home, which sleeps 6. You have access to a private courtyard, shared only with the garden level guests (#488360).

Gorgeous Home in Fabulous Location

This is a gorgeous home in a fabulous location in downtown Savannah. The three bedrooms were perfect for my husband and I, my parents, and our daughter. So nice to stay in a historic, gorgeous building. I’d love to come back.

Fabulous

Four of us had a great time. The house was clean, comfortable and beautiful. All ladies felt safe in the neighborhood. Parking on the street was always available. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Location

Superb location with an easy walk to bars, restaurants, parks, shops and the waterfront. Responsive host and a no thrills check in process. Will look to stay here again next time in Savannah!

Great house for our stay

this house was very nice! great for our family of 4 adults and a 2 week old baby girl and our 7 year old dog. The location was close to many places we wanted to visit. The kitchen is well supplied too. We would love to rent here again.

Perfect Savannah home!

Very charming Savannah home. Great location, you can walk everywhere. This home was perfect for our family trip, we also rented the downstairs unit- perfect set up to accommodate our party of 12!

A tasty slice of Savannah

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. Built in 1872, it has many of the features you’d expect. Original wide plank hardwood floors, high ceilings, tall double height windows, and several fireplaces But it also has all the modern amenities. It is a fabulous location, within walking distance of Forsyth Park and all the historic squares. It is well stocked with all the basics, and many extras. Communication with the owner and manager was excellent throughout the process from booking to checkout. They usually responded within a few hours. I recommend it highly.

Felt part of Savannah

Lovely characterful property in great location. It felt that, staying here, we really got a true flavour of this beautiful city. The house was spacious, sporlessly clean and everything was as stated in the description. If I had one (very) small quibble, the bed in the middle bedroom was not so comfortable and it would have been good to have known that that room was without natural light.

Bicycle House

This was the perfect home for our family of 5. Great location. We were able to walk almost everywhere. There was a parade for Veterans that went by the square located near the property. The parade was a lovely surprise. The property was clean and the living space allowed us all to hang out and play games.

Stayed here with my parents to attend a special event in Savannah. The house was very spacious, plenty of lounge space, and a great location. The property manager was communicative and very helpful.

Beautiful home in a perfect location

Everyone in our group absolutely loved this home. We anticipated using public transportation or pedicabs to get around town but ultimately we ended up walking everywhere in town as the river was a mere half mile away. The home itself is lovely and comfortable with many small details that made it especially charming. The host was quick to respond to any questions leading up to our trip, and left a great list of recommendations upon our arrival. We actually referred to it quite a bit! We enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the patio table, and one of our favorite evening past-times was taking a cocktail into Calhoun Square (so close!) and eavesdropping on the many ghost tours that passed through while we watched the bats flying in the trees overhead. No complaints from our group :)

Great Historical Home

This is a fantastic home situated along side one of the many historic squares in Savannah. Cozy and clean interior with plenty of room for a family. Location puts many activities well within walking distance. The downside is the tour buses, trolleys, walking tours and horse drawn carriages are frequently passing the house making it a little noisey. One strong request would be for a Queen bed or larger for the master bedroom. Definitely use Kristin's list of local eateries and I would also recommend the Bore's Head on the riverfront.

Graduation celebration

The house was very clean, comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked for our occasional breakfast since we ate a lot. The only thing I would mention and maybe I missed it in the description of the property is that one of the 3 bedrooms did not have any windows to the outside. But great place would stay again.

Great location

Beautiful and comfortable historic home that was the perfect fit for our family of six. Walkable to everything but outside the tourist zone in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The host's personalized list of things to do/see/eat with map was very thoughtful.

Family of 5 visits

We really enjoyed our stay! The area was quite, the house was clean and well kept, the amenities were great, and it was the perfect spot for walkability. There was duel ac unit is which kept the house cool during the warm Savannah days. We would say the only downfall was a listing of 3 queen beds, and they were full size. However the house itself was wonderful!

Outstanding Stay!!!!

We had such a great stay at this property. It was situated in the perfect place. Access to Forsyth Park, walking the beautiful streets, nearby restaurants were all within easy walking distance. The space inside was perfect for our needs. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We plan to return next year!

Beautiful property

Place was fantastic! Very spacious property. Three couples and one infant and we were very comfortable. The location is great. Close to Forsyth park, about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the river. Kitchen was well stocked. Great stay. Hope to be back.

Perfect

We visited Savannah for our sons wedding. The location was perfect. Walking distance to all of the wedding events/venues. Location is absolutely perfect for visiting the city. We will visit again and hope to stay here many times in the future.

Fantastic Place and Location

The house was beautiful. It was very clean and spacious. You could not ask for a better location. It was just a few blocks away from everything you wanted to visit. The host was nice and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

Amazing

Not only is the property fantastic, but the location is perfect. Everything is nearby. We only drove to see the Bonaventure cemetery, everything else was either walking distance or in a trolley. Air conditioner works wonderfully during these hot summers. The small patio was open and airy, it made for very pleasant morning tea and a book! The management made this check in and check out very easy. We are hoping to plan another vacation to Savannah, and to the house with the bike. Thank you!
