Our Happy Place II, The View! On Lake Hartwell

Our beautiful lakefront home is perfect for a large family or multi-family vacation. From the moment you walk in, you will be amazed by the view! Our spacious home is spread over two floors and includes 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom and lake view. The main floor encompasses a spacious open concept kitchen, dining and living area with a wood burning fireplace and large screen tv. Also, on this level are two of the four bedrooms (1 king, 1 Queen) with individual bathrooms. All these rooms open onto a large screened porch that runs the length of main level and includes its own television.
The lower floor includes an additional living area with fireplace, big screen television and kitchenette. This level provides two bedrooms with attached bathrooms (1 King, 1 Queen). Walk out the glass doors to a large covered area, additional seating and a gas fire pit. Follow the decked path down a short distance to our covered dock with single boat slip.
We are just 20 minutes from Seneca for shopping and dining, 30 minutes from Clemson (great for football weekends) and Anderson, and 90 minutes from Atlanta. Harbor Light Marina offers boat rentals and is approximately 3.5 miles by water and 10 miles by car. If you enjoy golf, the Chickasaw Point 18-hole course is less than 15 minutes away.
For those who have a larger party, we have a second home (VRBO #858455) and we offer a discount when renting both. The two homes are separated by 5 other homes, making it easy to walk back and forth.

This home was great for our 3 couples. Each bedroom had it own bathroom which was a must for us. Lots of seating inside and outside. The screened porch made a day extremely enjoyable. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cookware, plates and utensils. The host was quick to answer any questions we had. We will plan to stay again for sure.

Stunning views, beautiful property, and perfect for groups needing private ensuites. We needed a home that had separate bedrooms, dedicated bathrooms, and accessiblilty. While we were in town visiting our college daughter, was difficult for us to leave the property for anything-it was just so peaceful and beautiful. Thoughtful details throughout, attentive host, well equipped kitchen, more than just starter sets of supplies, furniture selected for multigenerational use and needs, screened deck for all hours enjoyment and views…too much to mention…just book it!

House is beautiful and the host response is very fast. Nice cement stairs going down to the lake. Extra toiletries and a very nice book explaining the surrounding area was really nice. The game room has a lot of games. Really good for families with kids. The house is also extremely clean and doesn't smell like many of the lake houses I have stayed in on this lake. I also caught some fish immediately.My only complaint is no trash pickup. You have to take the trash with you when you leave. The recycling center is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. So if you check out on Wednesday like I did, you are stuck with it.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake house. The home is impeccably clean and well maintained, the kitchen is well stocked and neatly organized. Communication with the host was excellent. There is a gentle walk to the lake and access is easy from upstairs or downstairs rooms. The outdoor space is excellent with plenty of seating and a fire pit. The screened in porch is where we spent a lot of time for meals, it's so nice to enjoy being outside, watch the game on TV or gather for meals, and not get bitten by mosquitoes. Wifi is good. Having two refrigerators is great for families who like to cook like us. We appreciated having a bathroom for every bedroom and the host provided plenty of beach towels. The grill is clean and works perfectly, plenty of propane. Every detail has been considered for this property and we hope to come back again next year.

Perfect weekend getaway

This house is perfect! I love the layout and lake views from every room. Each bedroom also has a private bathroom. It was very well stocked, and the owners left us kcups, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The owners are very helpful and responds quickly. The house is even prettier in person. There are stairs to the dock, but the way they are built makes them easier to use. We enjoyed the dock and brought our own boat. The dock is on big open water so there is a lot of boat traffic. We will definitely be back!

there’s a reason why this place gets five star reviews from other guests. Everything was perfect and our friends and family love The house and dock. I would highly recommend unfortunately because of the weather we didn’t get to utilize the dock as much as we wanted, but it’s a perfect place for family and friends and not too bad from Clemson University.

Great!

My husband and I vacation yearly with a group of friends. It’s difficult to find property to fit our criteria but this house really did! There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for 4 couples. The table was big enough for us all to sit at comfortably and the lower level had a big enough sitting area. Also, it feels very remote, but is only 10-15 minutes from places to eat and shop. I definitely recommend this place!

Christmas get away

Wow! What an amazing time we had at this lake house. The pictures don’t do it justice. My family absolutely loved it all. Each bedroom with its on bath was a must and they were clean as a whistle. The whole house was. We travel a lot and this was by far the most appointed house we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen was completely stocked with anything you could want. We loved both of the fireplaces and loved being able to see the lake from everywhere. The bottom level was loved by the younger adults and they played games all day and night. The views were absolutely breathtaking and we loved the dock even though we didn’t catch any fish lol. Would stay here for sure again.

Another Great Year

We have stayed at this house a number of times to attend Clemson football games and it’s always been amazing. The owners have recently had many updates making it even more enjoyable. The additional space added out front for the grill and a table were great while cooking and the overall changes to the appearance of the house look amazing. The neighbors were friendly and fun to chat with and as always the catfish were biting from the dock. Another incredible weekend with great friends. A big thank you to the owners!

Wonderful Lake Hartwell Getaway

The property was wonderful for three couples looking forward to a long weekend at the lake. Very comfortable and well laid out home. Dinners on the screened in porch, afternoons on the lake, great views of the sunset all contributed to a great stay. Lots of games for rainy days - fortunately the weather was great and we didn’t need them. We would definitely return.

Fun Weekend Getaway

Our Happy Place II is an amazing property. The beds were so comfortable and the layout fit our two families to perfection. The downstairs area with the games was great for our teenagers and young adults. We will be back.
