Beautiful spot, tucked away in the mountains overlooking Colorado Springs. The rustic cabin adds to the experience of retreating to nature while only being 30 minutes from town.

What a great cabin! Beautiful surroundings. Be prepared for the winding, single lane, dirt road leading up to the cabin. It can be a little nerve wracking for newbies to mountain driving. We had a great time!

Thank you so much for the wonderful five-star review! We’re happy that you enjoyed the cabin and its beautiful surroundings, in addition to having a great time. We do want to clarify for future guests that the mountain road leading to the cabin is a two-lane, hard-packed dirt road, although we understand that its winding nature can feel a little intimidating to those who aren’t accustomed to mountain driving. That’s exactly why we send every guest a video in advance showing the drive both up and down the mountain, so they can see what to expect before their stay. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope you’ll come back and visit!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. If you are looking for a slice of heaven on the side of a mountain then this is the place! Tucked away in the trees but close enough to everything. Blanca had the cabin spotless and ready for us. Steve was fantastic with communication and making sure we had everything we needed and that there were no surprises. Wonderful host and experience!

Great cabin in the mountains. This was our home base while playing golf for the week. It’s much cooler at the cabin with temps reaching 50 deg in August. Steve is an exceptional host and we plan to come back next summer!

The cabin was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay!!!! We saw an abundance of wildlife and loved being in the mountains! Most importantly, Steve was an amazing host! We had several questions that came up along the way and he was immediately responsive either via text or phone. It was very easy to talk to him; He was not bothered or annoyed by our inquiries/information that we wanted to share with him. We would definitely recommend this cabin to others and would absolutely stay there again!

My family really enjoyed the cozy cabin in the Cheyenne Mountains. The location is great because you are tucked away in the woods with plenty of beautiful scenery but close to any activity you are interested in experiencing. The host, Steve, was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had about our stay.

We spent our Thanksgiving in this beautiful piece of heaven. Steve had planned on spending his holiday there but graciously changed his plans to accommodate us. If you want relaxation and comfort this is the place!! Fantastic, host and cabin . The views up and down the mountain are spectacular.

Amazing place to experience Cheyenne Mountain!

Very relaxing place to come back to after a busy day of adventuring around Colorado Springs! Plenty of room to relax with family. The beds were amazingly comfortable felt very homey! Would make this our first place to stay at again.

We really enjoyed the cabin! The surroundings were beautiful, the cabin was cozy and perfect for our family and we loved having fires in the firepit. It felt like having a remote mountain vacation that was only a short drive down the mountain so we were able to have the best of both worlds!

Cabin artfully preserved from the past. We enjoyed the special features like books, light fixtures, coverings, and fully equipped kitchen. It was quiet and restful.

Wonderful cabin in the woods. Pretty far from city activities to let you relax and unwind. Close to hiking. Lots of wildlife to watch from the windows!

Nice Mountain Getaway

Our family really enjoyed our stay in Colorado Springs. The cabin was really cute and quaint. It is a little far from town, so just be sure to plan accordingly. We would definitely stay there again, and look forward to going back at some point.
