Mountain Villa #6 is located in a resort area, will great amenities like golf course, ski resort, club house with covered heated pool and playing area featuring arcades, pool table, and mini golf for you and your children. The beach at the lake it’s just a short walk and you can enjoy the nature or kayak your way through the lake. We fell in love with this area when we spend our own vacations. We decided to buy a house not only for our enjoyment but also to give other people and their families the same opportunity. Mountain villa #6 offers a big living room area with a wooden fire place, and a 60” tv, comfortable sectional and two recliner chairs. In this main floor you will also find a washer and dryer for your needs.The kitchen, fully renovated has everything it’s needed if you wish to cook, there is also a grill available for any grill lovers out there. Dining room is big and spacious for any big family to enjoy time gathered together. This home features a master bedroom that can accommodate a couple, downstair’s bedroom with a queen size and a bunk bed that can accommodate a family of 4. This room features also a beautiful spa bath tub, shower and separate bathroom/powder room. There is also a stackable washer and dryer for your washing needs in one of the closets. The 3rd floor is a loft area where it can accommodate three adults or four children, A half bathroom. You can also find a lot of games so that your little ones can spend time playing and bonding with their siblings or their cousins. Every bedroom features a TV that you can enjoy in the evenings. you can enjoy a cup of coffee/tea/wine in the porch overlooking the golf course and the mountains that offer a beautiful and magnificent view no matter what season.

‘Cool Mountain’ Vacation

Roland’s villa is spacious, equipped with all the amenities needed to relax and enjoy the NC mountains. The balcony view takes in the distant mountain above the golf green. Three bedrooms and three baths accommodate you and your family and/or friends. Fantastic restaurants abound in Cashiers and Highlands, the peaches, tomatoes and corn are a mountain treat at the Farmers Market, and the Sapphire Country Club pool (heated) is another bonus. Sweet Mountain Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our Weeks stay. Everything in the Mountain Chalet was terrific.. It was clean, totally equipped with everything you would want in your own Home and then some. The Deck made it even more special..Views into the Trees on one side and toward the Mountains on the other..most comfortable Furniture with Cushions and Blankets available..and a Mountain Brook softly running below the Property..even Flower Pots with Hostas and Lillies blooming. The Fireflies dancing each Night !! A serene and private Home, yet a short distance from Grocery shopping and excellent Restaurants!! We loved it and remember it fondly!!!

Nice Place

We enjoyed our stay at Rolands for about three days. Unfortunately, my grandson become very ill and we had to vacate in an emergency. In doing so, I left the front door open for days. We also had to have somebody come and pack us up to leave as we could not go back. In doing so, our packer took a couple of Rolands personal items. Roland was extremely understanding of our predicament and did not even charge for these items. Very nice people.

Simply the Best Place Ever

Thank you first of all to the owners Roland and Vera for making our stay wonderful . They provided us with everything we needed to make our vocation comfortable . OMG the view from balcony , the tree house for our kids , evening fireplace , bathtub , kitchen with everything you need . Clean, cozy, and well stocked chalet

The chalet is as described: clean, cozy, extremely quiet neighborhood. It has a beautiful patio with plenty of seating and a grill for outdoor cooking and enjoying the mountain views. I spent most evenings out in the patio with a drink and just relaxing or while manning the grill. House is very clean inside and bathrooms are modern (looks newly renovated). House came stocked with just about anything you need. Plenty of room for family of 6 (with kids and Grandparents). Roland was extremely responsive to a couple of questions we asked (otherwise everything is self-explanatory). Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and wish we could stay longer; next time we're into the area we'd definitely stay here again.

Nice family home

This home is in a good location and the two main bathrooms are very nice and updated.They have tried to provide everything you might need during your stay. The great room/dining room has a great view and is a nice gathering place. There were at least 12 light switches by the kitchen and none were labeled, and some lights didn’t work, including the front porch light, so it took forever to figure out how to get all the lights on/off. It would be helpful to have instructions about that and about the TVs/satellite situation (different remotes). Also, it is important to note (and was not noted) that none of the amenities are located on the property or within short walking distance. They are all at least half a mile on the mountain road. Also, they required an amenities card, which was not mentioned or provided to us, so when you wanted to go to the “beach” at the lake or rent a boat or go to the pool, you were supposed to have a card. These are all things that are easily fixed, so if the property owner takes care of them, I would recommend giving it a shot.

Absolutely wonderful!

Wow. Hard to put into words what a great place this was. My wife and I have 5 kids ages ranging from 2 to 19. My mother also joined us on this trip and we had more than enough room. The house was well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a trip. Very comfortable and updated. We loved all the amenities especially the pools. House is located in a great spot close to several great small towns. Cashiers, Highlands and Brevars are our favorites. Loved sitting on the back patio in the mornings. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be renting again!

Perfect getaway for what we wanted

The chalet was exactly as described, with plenty of space for our family to be together for meals, TV, and games. We never needed to contact the owners because everything went just fine. We loved the back deck, and it would be even better when the weather is a little warmer. The area was very quiet and peaceful. We were looking for a place to getaway without crowds, and this exactly fit. We ordered from two restaurants in Sapphire Valley and were pleased with both. Our family enjoyed the Sapphire National golf course (but wouldn’t necessarily recommend the par 3 Red Bird course).

Wonderful Spring Break Retreat

Two families with two children each enjoyed this cabin for the week. With 3 bathrooms and 2 sets of washers and dryers along with 3 bedrooms, we had more than enough space. The drive up is paved and not too steep. The cabin is also close to the main road through Sapphire and to the local grocery store. The kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine left by the owners. We also enjoyed the amenities from the community and recreation center for Sapphire Ski Resort which is only a short 5 minute drive away. Communication from the owners was clear and swift. Had a wonderful stay!!

Spacious, warm and welcoming.

My friends and I went down to NC to snowboard and hike for the weekend and stayed there. The hosts were very friendly and communicative, and the check-in was easy. We had a great experience and loved the warmth and “homie” feeling of the house. It was 6 of us and we had more than enough space for each of us to sleep alone. This would be great for friends and families as there are bunk beds in some rooms. My favorite thing was that the house has anything someone might need in a house in terms of appliances, utensils, extra blankets, etc. which really made it feel like home. We were able to cook breakfast and meals everyday and had plenty of mugs for coffee and tea for all of us! We loved using the fire place and the view from the patio is great! The house was conveniently located near the ski resort and besides snowboarding and hiking some of us got to use the hot tub, indoor swimming pool, and gym of the resort. We’ll definitely book again next time we head up north!

outstanding location and views

Most of all we loved walking out the door into the forested paths and hiking for miles along the lake or up into the hills. You can look out any window and enjoy the lush forested scenery - the fall leaves have been stunning. We loved the mountain forested golf course and the kind people.The morning sunshine warmed the light bright great room with beautiful wooden ceilings - very cozy. We like to cook and the kitchen worked very well for us - loved the Cashiers Farmers Market and how close it is! The master bed was comfy. Higher quality sheets and towels would be a great addition. The owners were kind and responsive. We had a lovely visit and hope to return. With regards to cleaning: Apparently it was not the owners fault that a prior tenant was extremely rough on this home and the cleaner did the best job possible under circumstances.

Great location

Very nice place with great location. Peaceful deck, comfortable furniture inside. Bathrooms updated and clean. Strong and fast WiFi connection. Close to Highlands and Cashiers. TV service not great but I believe they are working on getting that upgraded. Fully equipped kitchen, you don't need to bring anything. Very nice owners and excellent communication!

Relaxing villa in beautiful mountain setting

This property was very nice and comfortable for a week long getaway into the mountains. It had everything that you would need including 2 washing machines. There are plenty of nearby hiking and walking trails and a peaceful lake on which to canoe and kayak. We enjoyed swimming at the resort pool. A nice place for a family retreat.

Weekend getaway with friends and family ! Beautiful mountain home.

We had a great experience and amazing time! This is a great place to escape from the busy life and enjoy the piece and quite. With nature. The accommodations were fantastically this home was extremely clean. As soon as you walk out on the huge deck you have a feeling that you are in a tree house over looking the mountains and the golf course. Steps away from the lake that offers boat rental and paddle board. The communication with the hosts was excellent, they even left us a welcome gift and a bottle of wine as a birthday gift. I had the best time for my birthday, hiking and swimming in the river. The place was only a 10 min drive to the local grocery store and we got fresh veggies and fruits from the farmers market ( best farmers market ever) We will be definitely going back there and tell our friends about this beautiful place . Most definitely will be going in the winter for winter activities and enjoy the fireplace and this warm cute home. Will bring our whole family as there are three bedrooms with plenty of beds.

We are a family of 4 that live in Jacksonville FL and always enjoyed spending spring break up in the mountains. We stumbled upon this property and we loved the house and the area and we decided to buy it and make it our home. We always look forward to spending time in our house and I hope that other families will enjoy as much as us.

It is a great home, newly renovated and new furniture, close to more than 20 waterfalls. There are walking trails right outside the house that the whole family can enjoy. You like fishing, no problem, the lake its just a walk away.
