Experience the charm and nature of Old Seagrove in this spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath home that overlooks a beautiful tree-lined canal. Canal of a Good Time is a 2-story beach retreat located on a quiet dead end street offering the ultimate in privacy. A 10-minute stroll will take you into Seaside, where you can enjoy award-winning restaurants, unique shops, and the ambiance of a quaint coastal village.

Wide plank heart of pine floors from an Alabama cotton warehouse grace the entire home and give it a warm, vintage charm. Soaring ceilings and multiple windows over the spacious living room give the room light and airiness. 3 bedrooms are on the main floor with the master suite encompassing the full 2nd floor.

The living room is perfect for movie nights or to relax with a good book (there's a library wall full of choices!). There's a larger TV mounted above the fireplace. Warm up in front of the wood-burning fireplace if you’re coming in Florida’s “cooler” months. Next to the fireplace is the perfect setup for game night – a card table and seating for 4. The kitchen opens out to the living room with a long bar that has 3 barstools.

The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of space to make meal preparation a breeze. The dining room has a large table that has 6 chairs – more chairs can easily fit from the card table to seat 8. Right outside the kitchen you’ll find the gas grill for all your BBQ cravings.

French doors off the living room open to the screened-in porch which overlooks the canal. Enjoy plenty of seating for dining and relaxation. Take a minute to unwind on the front porch on the porch swing – cool and relaxing.

Laundry room comes off the kitchen and has a front-loading washer and dryer, laundry sink, and folding countertop. Off the laundry room you’ll find the private bunk room with bathroom – great for teens.

Sleeping Arrangements:
1st Floor, Bedroom 1: Queen with TV and access to the hall bath with tub/shower combination.
1st Floor, Bedroom 2: 2 twin beds; shares hall bathroom with Bedroom 1
1st Floor, Bedroom 3: Twin-over-twin bunk room with attached full bathroom.
2nd Floor, Bedroom 4: Queen master suite with huge closet (could easily fit a Pack ‘n Play or even 2) and access to a private screened-in balcony. Private bathroom includes a beautiful walk-in 2-person shower.

The beach is about a 10-minute walk down lovely oak canopied dirt roads of Old Seagrove. Seaside is just around the corner. Or you can paddle your troubles away to Western Lake in a canoe or kayak – if you’re lucky, nature will provide you with an opening into the Gulf of Mexico! Close enough to walk or bike to everything…beach, galleries, fine cuisine, bike trails, markets, boutiques, and coffee shops!

A Benchmark welcome bag and initial starter kit of amenities are provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.
