Nestled back on a private road, our cottage is located right on the water. It is the perfect getaway for families and offers relaxation and fun! The large water slide into the lake is a main attraction for adults & Children alike. The lake is a full recreational lake, Summer (swim, fish, water ski, ATV, mountain bike, hike, golf, etc), & winter (snowmobile, ski, ATV, ice fish, Snow shoe etc) activities with public launch access.

We are 4 minutes from Nordic Mountain where there are hiking trails, bicycle trails, skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. Snowmobile clearings are also nearby.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need including three refrigerators & two microwaves.

Guests have access to the entire property, including the slide, and swim-up raft. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible in our home, please feel free to make yourselves at home. We provide all the bathroom supplies you should need.

Lake Napowan is a 53 acre lake in Waushara County. Depthe is approx 18 ft. Fishing includes panfish, bass and pike.

Great Family Getaway

We really enjoyed ourselves in the Cabin. The decks are great and are nice when it is raining. The beach was fun for the kids and my husband caught quite a few fish.

Great Fun on a Lake!

Loved the sandy beach and all the water toys! Example kids kayak, paddle board…. Great time fishing off the pier and swim out floating platform. Our family had a wonderful time!

Long Labor Day Weekend-

Had a great time at the house. The double decks were great to hang out on and relax. It was great paddle boarding and kayaking when the lake was calm and we did plenty of water sliding when it was a little more busy. The owners were very nice and the house was clean and comfortable

Lake Napowan 2023

This is an awesome place to stay! Plenty of room, easy check in, the owners go above to help you if needed and are super nice and friendly, fun waterslide, can rent pontoons from owners for lake cruising, large fire pit, roomy decks for relaxing and watching the lake....I can't say enough good things about this place! We sure had fun! Thanks Nicole and Kris!

Annual Family Gathering

This was the opportunity for the summer when we can get our family together. The Lakehouse was everything we expected and more. Our 4 grandsons loved the down hill slide into the lake. They swam all day, every day. Ended the day with a pontoon ride, then sat by the fire overlooking the lake. A very enjoyable 4 days. Looking forward to coming back next summer.

Lovely week away

The lake was beautiful and in a very nice area. We enjoyed activities in both Wautoma and Waupaca during our stay. Loved the neat mill coffee shop in Mt Morris. The cottage was well stocked with convenient supplies and we really enjoyed the lakefront and paddleboat. Communication with the owner was easy and any messages were returned quickly.

Nice Location but Disappointing

We were disappointed with the quality of furnishings in the cabin. A lot of personal items in drawers and closets. There was so much extra furniture that wasn’t needed and no first floor dining table even though there were multiple dining chairs sitting around the kitchen and living space. The grill was never cleaned and full of thick barbecue sauce baked on. Owners need to put steps down to the pier. You only can shower one person at a time so having the second shower was kind of useless. On a positive note our family had a great time together and we caught a lot of fish right off the dock. However the dock was quite crowded with a pontoon on one side and a slide bolted onto it on the pier.

Charlene, I am sorry you were disappointed with the furnishings and personal items. On my listing it does state that we reside in this home, therefore personal items will be present. There is a full dining table in the lower level, one on the deck upstairs, and one on the lower deck. We often find guests like to have meals outside so they can enjoy the scenery of the lake, therefore we put a dining tables on both the upper and lower deck. Offering three dining tables seems sufficient for most guests. There are steps down to the water on one side of the home because that is the law. We are not allowed to alter access to the lake per the DNR. Lake-homes are only allowed one access the lake. The house is geared towards families and it is clearly advertised that there are two slides. For safety reasons the slide needs to be bolted down to the dock. Lastly, we rent out pontoon out to many guests, therefore it stays at the doc for the convenience of our guests. In the future, please feel free to reach out to your hosts personally with concerns, most of us are very willing to listen and explain our reasoning, unfortunately I did not hear from you at all about any of these concerns during your stay.

Relaxing, beautiful spot!

We had the best time at this lake house. We went with another family, and there were four kids in total. The house is perfectly set up for multiple families and kids. The lake front is super clean and fun to swim in. Our boys loved looking for fish and using the kids kayak. The sleeping situation is also great for families. The cabin was very clean and the two decks offered awesome views. We'll definitely book this location again.

Fun cabin with lots of things to do

We rented the place on a Fri to Mon. Easy to communicate with and coordinate everything via the app. The house itself is comfy with room for everyone. The walk out lower deck and garage area are unique and very useful. Dock and lake were nice. Lots of fish off end of pier. Only downside is getting from the house to the dock. It is steep and sand so folks with mobility issues will need help getting to and from. Otherwise everything including the home made water slide were phenomenal!

Loved hosting you! I wish we could have to access points to the lake, but the DNR doesn't allow it so with the steps on the one side of the lake, we can't add more. the water is down now and there is a sandy area so the access is a bit easier. You are welcome back anytime!!!

Family time

We had a great time with our family at this fun filled lake house. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our week together. The lake is a quiet spot. The kids enjoyed the slide which is a bonus here. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. They were extremely quick to answer any questions we had. Would absolutely recommend this for a family get away!

Hi, my name is Nicole. I’m married with two daughters and love traveling both with my family and by myself. I’m currently working on running a marathon in the 50 states, which has led us to some amazing places in the U.S. When we are in Wisconsin, we love snowmobiling, cross country skiing (there are a lot of trails near this property) & snowboarding (Nordic Mountain is only 3 miles away) in the winters. During the summer, we like to hike and mountain bike at Nordic Mountain & we love having lazy days in the water and also water skiing and boating.
