My family and I had a lovely extended weekend at the Hyde Away! The house was very well stocked with all the things we needed for a stress-free stay. The lake was quiet and cozy. I'd recommend staying here!

Beautiful home and lake. The beds were comfortable as well and had nice linens on them. Well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed using the Weber grill and the kayaks. Loved the view from the deck. I enjoyed my vacation there with my 3 adult kids.

Cute place, great location and perfect for young families

We enjoyed our stay at this location. Had lots of activities to do for the kids. It was beautiful weather so we were outside nearly the whole time. The kitchen is well stocked. Everything is labeled wonderfully!

Perfect place for a girls trip. The house was very clean. The kitchen was meticulous and well stocked with things you didn't even think you'd need on a trip. Perfect place for a girls trip. The house was very clean. The kitchen was meticulous and well stocked with things you didn't even think you'd need on a trip. Got everything for everyone

This is a beautiful house with all amenities for a nice quiet relaxing vacation. 4 bedrooms and 2 washrooms were enough for our family. Updated kitchen has everything to prepare a family meal and all cabinets are labeled, a very well stocked. Large deck with bbq can accommodate large gatherings. Nice quiet lake with plenty of kayaks, canoe and paddle boat will keep everyone enjoying the water at the same time, with lifejackets. Bicycles are in garage. Front yard has swings, tire swing and fire pit with plenty of fire wood.

Family Ski Trip

Found this listing as I was planning a 3 day getaway for skiing. It was easy to schedule and book. I received a text from the property owners before the trip asking if there was anything that they could do in anticipation of our stay to make it more enjoyable. The home was cozy and well kept. Driveway was plowed on our arrival and plowed the next day when we had a snow fall. Everything was easy to find and draws and cabinets had labels listing enclosed items. Had a great time playing games and relaxing in front of the television with a fire going. Owners were very responsive while we were there when a question did arise. Definitely plan to return to check it out in the summer.

Second visit - as good as the first!

We had a great time at The Hyde Away! Enjoyed the kayaks, making smores around a campfire, having a beautiful deck for reading, relaxing, and grilling our meals. Spacious and comfortable for our group of 5. The grandkids are already making plans for next year!

Peace and quiet

The Hyde Away was just as it was advertised. When we arrived, the place was clean and well maintained. We were surprised at how organized the kitchen was. There were a range of spices and other little additions that made it feel like home. Everyone enjoyed the lake, whether it was swimming or taking one of the boats out. The fire pit was well made and ready to use. A few of us went on a quick bikeride. sitting out on the back deck was a great place to read while still able to keep an eye on the children by the lake. We left with thoughts of renting again as it was so prefect!

Nature Paradise!

We stayed throughout the week and my children discovered how to kayak (2 children ones) and we would go kayaking early in the morning to watch the cedar waxwings hunt off the water, saw green and great blue herons and soaked in all the wondrous nature. We would go out at dusk and see lots of activity with deer, and other big birds along with watching all the fish jump for food. My 2 year-old loved to play in the beach area and the water was a perfect temperature even when it got cooler outside because it's only 14 feet at the deepest. Spent many days just floating off the pontoon dock. Just a natural paradise. So very relaxing and EXACTLY what we wanted in a vacation spot. Lots of shade on the back porch and we'd play games at night. So lovely!

Everything we wanted!

This cozy cabin had everything our two families needed for a nice lake vacation. We were impressed by the number of kayaks/boats available for our use and all the amenities available. We stayed during the week and it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. The owners were very responsive when contacted. Wish we stayed longer!

Great place to stay!

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. We all had a great time despite a day and a half of rain. The kids had so much fun fishing off the dock, swimming and kayaking. It's like we had our own private lake! Thanks for sharing your vacation home!

Complete Lake Cabin Experience

A cozy cabin with everything you could want to enjoy the quiet (no wake) lake. We had a wonderful time out on the lake with the canoe, rowboat, paddle boat, kayaks for all, as well as biking around the quiet neighborhood. For a small lake lined by vacation homes, there was little other activity on the lake- it felt like we had our own private lake. Beach is sandy and good for wading and swimming. Bring googles so you can see the fish swimming along with you. Everything was clearly labeled and easy to find what you need. Short drive into town if you forgot anything. It was very peaceful and renewing!

Great place with lots to do!

I took a group of 8 to this quiet getaway and found it to be exactly as we hoped. There was plenty of room for everyone, two separate living room areas and a bedroom with a TV. The kitchen had everything we needed too! Scenery was great and although the weather didn't allow lake access, we were able to enjoy the view and relax on the deck. It's a great place for a relaxing walk or to sit around a fire when the sun goes down. Judy the host was very nice and accommodating - making recommendations for grocery stores and pizza delivery - and she was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend staying here. I will for sure.
