Located perfectly in the Old Village neighborhood mins. from the buzz of downtown Charleston as well as the beaches of Sullivan's Island + Isle of Palms. This upscale apt. designed w/ style + comfort in mind has everything you will need for a relaxing stay in CHS. Walk or bike just a few blocks to nearby Shem Creek and experience the restaurants, shopping, bars, outdoor adventures such as kayaking, paddle boarding, boat charters, etc.+ take in the picturesque views of the Charleston Harbor.

After a day of exploration, come home to this cozy retreat. The space features hardwood floors throughout and crisp ivory walls adorned with local art to create a modern-coastal vibe that is relaxing, yet refined.

Full kitchen with marble counter tops, refrigerator, microwave, SMEG coffee maker and toaster, cups, plates, utensils, wine glasses, knife set, pots/pans + other baking/cooking gadgets + essentials.

Relaxing living space with modern technologies include high-speed WiFi, smart flat screen TVs in the living room and bedroom, cable, Roku TV, portable speaker, and extra phone/iPad chargers. The living space features a sleeper/futon sofa designed to sleep two additional people as well as a functional bar top area with barstools that can double as a workspace or eating area.

The separated bedroom features a luxurious king size bed, reading chair, flat-screen TV, sound machine, large closet w/ plenty of hangers/luggage storage, iron + and en suite bathroom with linens + complimentary toiletries. The space also includes a washer/dryer, as well as detergent + dryer sheets for your convenience.

Cooler bag, beach towels, beach chairs, local magazines + other personalized items for your enjoyment.

The apartment has private off street parking, a private entrance, and keyless entry.

The location was great, the place was as pictured. We had a lovely trip. We didn't have any issues. Easy walking distance to Mt Pleasant's Old Village and shops/restaurants. 10 minute drive to downtown Charleston. The host was very communicative up front, and we didn't need to reach out during the trip for any issues.

Great space and perfect location

Very cute space with all the amenities we needed! The location was perfect, we went to the beach and downtown Charleston without issue. The owner was very accessible and quick to respond when we needed something, great communication. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect location and stay

This property was beautiful inside and out. The location is in walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops, and water front eateries. It was also a short 10-15 minute drive to downtown Charleston. The inside was very clean and had all amenities one would need for a getaway. The host was welcoming and quick to respond. Would stay here again.

This apartment was staged nicely so there was room to move freely in a small space. The location was great! We were within walking distance to coffee, shops, restaurants, and Shem Creek waterfront activities. Charleston was a 10 minute drive as well! We appreciated the designated parking space, prompt communication from the property owner, and cleanliness of the entire place (especially with a baby in tow!). The king size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom linens and the kitchen utensils were helpful since we traveled a long way to SC from MD. I was grateful for a washer and dryer as well. This apartment demonstrated pride of ownership in the decorations and amenities to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. We would stay again!

Lovely stay in old village! The host was extremely responsive and helpful with our questions and requests. We asked about beach chairs and within minutes they were outside for us. Loved how clean it was.

Simply fantastic

We were in town for a wedding at the nearby Alhambra Hall. This was an ideal location, and so close to other great neighborhood amenities for food and drink. The property itself was immaculate, exceptionally clean and obviously well maintained. The kitchen was well appointed and the bath amenities were excellent. We were traveling with a 6 month old, and definitely appreciated how quiet this property is. We all slept soundly! And communication with the property owner was superb, with a quick and clear response to our questions. Overall this property was simply a delight to stay in, our expectations were far exceeded. We could not be more pleased.

Thanksgiving 2022

I cannot say enough great things about the OV Retreat. It is beautiful, so comfortable and everything you need is there. In addition the location is unbeatable, and everything from parking to access to the home itself is nothing short of pure ease. This is an absolute go to for a Charleston getaway. Thank y’all!! We will be back again!

Centrally located getaway

A great stay for a couple that wants to get away and be centrally located to Charleston and Sullivan’s island. This apartment above the garage is walking distance to shops and restaurants. The place was clean and easy to get in and out of with its own dedicated parking spot.
