The lovely Sandlot: Side B home is located in Gulf Shores, AL, and is half of a duplex home. It is less than a 5-minute walk to get to the white, sandy beaches and emerald waters. This location is unique in the fact that it is a duplex home that can be connected through an internal door to make one large home; for larger families or parties, both sides can potentially be rented out to double the living space and the fun! This home is the perfect location for some true relaxation and time with loved ones.

The multilevel Sandlot Duplex home radiates a welcoming environment with its spacious, open floor plan that connects the living room and the kitchen. The beautiful and bright interior to this 3-bedroom/3-bathroom home is credited to its top-quality furnishings, decor, and electronics. A fully stocked kitchen is ready to cater to your cooking needs. After finishing up in the kitchen, head out to the balcony furnished with comfy cabana furniture and admire quality time with loved ones!

The master bedroom can be located on the first floor and is furnished with a king-size bed. The ensuite master bathroom holds a shower/tub combo to soak the day away. Head upstairs to find the other two bedrooms. One holds a queen-size bed, while the other bedroom is furnished with two twin-size trundle beds, creating 4 beds when pulled out. Both of these bedrooms are also connected to an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

This location has many amenities that we are confident you will appreciate:

While Lucky Bird provides you with an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, and dish soap to get you through your first 24 hours, we recommend you bring the following: paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, toiletries, hairdryer, napkins, condiments, spices, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, beach towels, umbrella, beach toys, sunscreen, and anything else you may need for your perfect vacation.

Sandlot B is a non-smoking property and no pets are permitted. You must be 25 years of age or older to reserve this property. Monthly rental rates are available November 1st - March 1st.

Great location for activities

The duplex is nice. The pics are accurate. The location was awesome, close to the beach, walking distance to good restaurants and shopping. If you want a quite place, this may not be the best location for you. My family was there to explore and be active, so it was perfect.

Great for mini vacay

Overall our stay was great. House could have had a few more supplies. Biggest complaint was that the walls are very thin and you could hear the guests on the other side, especially at night. Loved the fact that we could just walk to the beach!!

Spring Break Family Vacation

The property is very conveniently located to the beach, without being on the beach. Access to the main center, shops and restaurants was excellent. Comfortably fit our group. We sent in a coupld maintenance items and the managers were quick to responded to the messages.

Thank you for our accommodation, the beach is very close to the house, walking 3 to 5 minutes without the need for a car, we had a great time, we felt at home, as a recommendation put some curtains at the exit door to the patio, for those who want accommodation excellent location, thanks again.

Week @ Gulf Shores

Honestly a 5 minute walk to the waters edge at the beach. Such a fun location, very quiet neighborhood. Good assortment of kitchen/cooking dishes. Bring your own ice cube trays and Tupperware! We had plenty of towels and wash clothes. AC worked great! We would stay here again for sure!

Overall the property was great for our vacation. Perfect location, generally clean. King Size bed needs replaced and No Smoking needs to be enforced. There were cigarette butts on the deck in a flower pot when we arrived and the neighbors in Lot A smoked all week downstairs.

Very clean and very cute! Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Make sure you take all your belongings. We left an item in the dryer and though the owner said they would send it, sadly it was never returned.

Very Nice We Will Stay Again

Very nice, love the location. Our kitchen sink had a bad smell and several drain flies, the refrigerator had a leak on the inside back to the left we put paper towels down and the freezer racks were rusted. In the front room the pillow in the first chair had a pretty big tear. The 3rd bedroom there was a chair in the closet that was broken. Over all it was a nice place we will make more reservations with themšŸ¤—

Prime location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sandlot (B). The location was perfect and in very close proximity to all the main attractions. We were just minutes away from the beautiful beaches and The Hangout. The It was also extremely clean. The only negatives regarding our stay was that only one of the four televisions was working and the master bathtub would not drain properly. We made the property manager aware of the television issue and received a quick response back saying that a work order would be put in, but unfortunately they were never fixed before our stay ended.

We loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The tub in the Master Bedroom would not hold water. So, we weren't able to enjoy the jets. When we took the sheets off the Master Bed, there was a very large stain on the Pillow Top. Some of the rugs were frayed. But, that's no biggie. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Great location

We had a nice stay. We did have the air conditoner go out on us and that was quite uncomfortable. It was fixed in four hours. Also, the two different neighbors we had that were in Side A were absolutely a nightmare. The first family shouted and fought throughout the night with screaming etc. The second family screamed profanities at her children all day and night. The children were incredibly noisy with slamming doors and running.

Poorly configured a/c

The entire top floor had very little air conditioning. The a/c works, just not up in the bedrooms. Made excessive noise too. Since the a/c ran the entire time we were there trying to cool the top floor off, it made that much harder to try to sleep in those rooms. I will probably not stay here again due to this reason.

PERFECT HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME

I cannot recommend The Sandlot highly enough! We had a large group for my daughter's wedding, so we rented both sides. It was perfect! It was literally a 5 min. walk to the beach & short walk to stores ,& eating places. We took a wagon to haul everything to the beach. Everyone could go & come as they wished. We had 2 small issues, & they were addressed & fixed immediately! We will definitely be staying here again if we return to Gulf Shores.

PERFECT HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! We had the most wonderful time. Our group rented both sides,& it was perfect. We had 2 small issues that were fixed immediately. Communication was excellent. It was literally a 5 min. walk to the beach. We brought our wagon to haul everything over. It was close enough that we could walk to the shops & eating places. We will definitely rent this again if we go back to Gulf Shores.
