Second year in a row, and just as wonderful as last year. Service and communication was amazing. They replaced the grill before we even realized it had issues! Perfect location, close to everything in Kīhei, central to the rest of West Maui (all Maui, really) yet secluded enough from the road to feel isolated.

This place is amazing, and the description of the property does not do it justice. I highly recommend staying here.Once you arrive, there is truly no need to leave. We actually had to force ourselves to do activities elsewhere. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean was incredibly healing, and we made the short walk to the beach often. Returning to the real world will be difficult.

Hosts were super helpful as it seems like a team that ensures everything is going well. Property is incredible, exactly what we needed for 2 families and being this close to the beach with little ones was great. We accidentally broke the coffee pot and they were very understanding about it. I honestly would come back here again in the future if I can afford it! We got it at a lower price than average but it was worth every penny.

Overall, this property is fantastic and exactly as described. Generally speaking, this is probably the best-outfitted house we have rented. Plenty of appliances & cooking gear made it easy to eat in during our stay. It was quiet, private, had amazing beach access and was in a good location to access local restaurants & grocery stores. We would stay here again without question.Check-in: we were contacted prior to our trip so we could provide arrival details. One of the agents reached out once we landed and coordinated a meeting time so we could check in. The whole process (review of lock box, tour of the house, Q&A, etc.) took 5-10 minutes.The house: a lovely beachfront home with amazing views. A/C worked well for sleeping. Appliances all functioned and pots/pans, etc. were well-supplied. It's an older home so electrical outlets and light switches were not always in a great spot but everything worked. Plenty of towels & sheets; hot water was never a problem for the 6 adults in our group.Our only complaints: the outdoor grill is older and could be replaced (igniter didn't work); floors could've been cleaner but the house was generally in very clean condition otherwise. We found a couple of cockroaches during our week - an exterminator should be hired. WiFi was awful - slow, dropped connections, etc. Could've used instructions for the warming drawer - no one could figure it out.

Week in Maui

What a perfect home for our family. We all loved walking out the back door to the beach. It is close to great food and the kitchen is well set up for making meals for us. Hope to return again next year!

Exceeds Expectations!

Fantastic property with amazingly good communication at all times. Convenient to everything needed in Kihei but far enough from the road that unless you head into town it feels like an isolated oasis. Would definitely recommend and return given the opportunity. To top it all off, turtles spotted every day amongst the coral and rocks just to the right of the property!

Lotus house

The views and being on the beach made this worth every penny! The house has old charm with updates. It is comfortable and close to everything we planned. It made for a wonderful vacation!

Perfect ocean front home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 7 had a fantastic week long stay with Sunny Maui! The views were stunning and the local beach access couldn’t be any better. All beds were comfortable and showers were nice. Plenty of indoor/outdoor space to hangout. My daughter had a surprise marriage proposal on the property and the staff went above and beyond to help us execute it. Staff responded almost immediately if we had any questions. They also did a wonderful job in suggesting things to do and visit. The home and staff made our Maui experience one we will never forget!

Wonderful stay

This property was a wonderful location, beautiful view. The set up was great, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, there was even lots of spices to use. Huge hot water tank so no problem with running out of hot water . Lots of seating outside for the family to set outside and enjoy the view and to eat outside. I would highly recommend this property!

Amazing Maui Vacation

Had such a great time in Maui staying at the Indo Lotus House! The location is perfect with a great beach right in front. We enjoyed the calm mornings paddle boarding, swimming and kayaking and made sure we were there for sunset every night. Great food options in walking distance or just a short drive. Had 6 adults and 2 teenagers. Everyone had an amazing time!

Best vacation ever!!!!

This house was the ideal location for a family stay on Maui!!! It was comfortable and clean and the kitchen is in the perfect spot! We would make dinner, barbecue our fish and then enjoy our dinner al fresco while watching the sun set! Then finish the night off with a dip in the hottub before having a shower and slipping into bed!! Best!!!!!!

Beautiful Maui Getaway!

Our family of five had an amazing stay in this spectacular beach front home! It is in the ideal location for lounging in chairs, surfing, sight-seeing, walking along beach paths, and walking to nearby shops and restaurants. The home is everything we hoped for and then some. We hope to return to this paradise where we can watch beautiful sunsets from the hot tub and both fall asleep and wake up to the sound of ocean waves crashing just steps away from the bedroom sliding door.

Beautiful ocean view

The property was a perfect location for beach access (just a few steps), shops and restaurants nearby. The large lawn was perfect for our grandchildren to run around. The outdoor seating was key for us! We never ate inside! Property management was very responsive and helping with anything we needed. Views were spectacular. We never wanted to leave before sunset! Worth every penny!

The property is breathtaking and absolutely beautiful!! We loved the layout of the home, with rooms on both sides of the house. When traveling with two sets of adults, this setup made it feel spacious and private, so we never felt crowded.The home was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking, including a BBQ, which made mealtimes easy and enjoyable. The location couldn’t have been better. A quick one-minute walk to the beach is perfect for families with small kids. We also appreciated that the home provided sand toys, chairs, and umbrellas, making beach days effortless.My only wish is that there were a few extra accommodations for families traveling with non-walking babies. Providing a walker, high chair, or playpen tucked away for guests to use would be helpful. I ended up renting these items from a local company, so it worked out, but it’s something to consider for future guests.Overall, we would definitely visit again, it truly felt like a home away from home!

Wonderful Vacation Home

Everything you need is located on this property. The house is well stocked and clean. The host was very responsive and prompt when asked for help or recommendations. The bedrooms, patios, and living rooms had comfortable furniture and were spacious. The kitchen had plenty of dishware and pots/pans for cooking at home. There is a public beach path just past the backyard where you walk a minute to get onto the beach and into the water. You will see people coming and going along this path, so the house is not completely secluded. The host has chairs and sand toys for your use on the beach. The ocean was also relatively calm while we were visiting. Restraurants and a food truck park are about a ten minute walk from the house and food shopping is less then 10 minutes drive away. This place was a great getaway and a wonderful place for a home base to explore the entire island or just sunbath and enjoy the ocean.

Location, Location, Location

Is it a little more than what you normally have spent? Probably. But, is it really worth it? 100X yes! This place was everything we ever wanted for our oh so few family vacation. With our kids spread all over the country, it was our one chance to bribe everyone to join us at this beautiful home. The home was very spread out with master on one side (a small adjacent room we did not use). Kids stayed in the two bedrooms on the other end of the house. Large living room. Kitchen was a bit narrow, but had a great view to the ocean while cooking. Appliances were new (dishwasher installed during our stay). Dishware, washclothes, towels (including beach towels) all provided. Honestly, we spent almost our entire time out on the main lanai. Morning coffee and late night card games were the perfect activities on this part of the house with the best views. The beach was a short walk down a paved path. Most of the time the beach was fairly unpopulated (maybe 20 people). But, at sunset, our part of the beach became very populated. Why? Because the sunsets are not to be missed. We made our Christmas card pictures (and so many others) on the rocky formation that juts into the ocean just past the house. Gorgeous. Kihei has a few shops for souvenirs, but overall a relatively quiet place. The closest grocery store is just ok. There is a Safeway about 3-4 miles away that is better. Lastly, the communication with the staff was outstanding. They responded to text, calls and emails rapidly.
