Welcome to Oahu-Rentals.com located at world famous Sunset Beach in North Shore Oahu, Hawaii. Settle into your beautifully restored beach house, with 50ft of spectacular white sandy beach frontage. Listen as the waves roll in, a gull cries and a gentle breeze stirs the palms.

Breathe the fresh ocean air after you have strolled down the small lane that leads to a gated driveway, which offers privacy minus the road noises.

Watch as surfers catch a ride on the surf breaks of Kammies, Monster Mush, Rocky Point and Sunset.

Sunset Beach House consists of two separate structures – the front structure being the main home and the back structure being the guest house, perfect for a large family or 2 families wanting to stay together.

The front home features the master bedroom with a queen-size bed, the second bedroom also has a queen bed and there’s a kitchen, living room and bathroom. There’s also a front deck that allows you to soak in the sun or enjoy the breathtaking views.

The rear guest house is a separate structure which has its own private entry and offers 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette, the first bedroom consists of a Queen Bed while the second bedroom consists of 2 twins. There's also a full bathroom which is shared between the 2 bedrooms.

A laundry which is shared between the two homes is also available on the property.

There are also two championship golf courses located at the Turtle Bay Resort and the historic town of Haleiwa are just a short drive from your holiday home. There is also a grocery store nearby.

Whether it’s the big waves of the winter or the tranquil paradise of the summer, this holiday home on Sunset Beach is your ticket to infinite possibilities.

At the end of the day, wander outside and discover why Sunset Beach is called just that. Take a deep breath, look out over the ocean and . . . exhale.

Please note that during the months of July to October the direct beach access may be closed or limited due to the lack of beach however on the flip side, the views are even better.

While we had a good time overall, this stay felt more like glamping than a comfortable beach rental. Communication with the host was minimal — I had to reach out the day before to get check-in info, and my early check-in request was never answered. The photos are misleading; while it is beachfront, the shoreline has eroded into a steep drop. It is technically possible to climb down, but it’s unsafe and inconvenient, especially for kids or elderly guests.Cleanliness was also disappointing. Multiple plates, bowls, and cups were put away in the cabinets with dried food still on them, which made the kitchen feel unwelcoming. On top of that, the house was very hot, and the ceiling fans didn’t do much to help with airflow.We ended up cutting our trip short and booking a hotel to get some good rest before a full day of travel. While the location, ocean views and sunsets were beautiful, overall the house feels neglected and not prepared with guests’ comfort in mind. With better upkeep, more attention to cleanliness, and some thought toward guest experience, this rental could be much better.

North Shore Heaven

We had the most magical family surf trip here. The location is amazing and on a quiet stretch of beach in between Rocky Point and Sunset. Every night we watched the sunset from the awesome deck and even saw whales. The property is exactly as pictured. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!

Lovely house

This property is absolutely perfect. Location was ideal to visit the North Shore. There were 8 of us and we were very comfortable. The main house is very nicely stocked with kitchen appliances and everything worked very well. Parking is also excellent. We had 3 cars and were able to park in the courtyard without any issues. We were very comfortable without air conditioning. All rooms have ceiling fans.

Wedding Vacation

Absolutely stunning home to stay at. Right on the beach. Able to enjoy walks on the beach, the surf, waves, sunsets, and the occasional rainbow! Stayed with 7 family members. Having both homes on the same property worked out perfectly for us.

Location location location

This house was perfect for our family. The location was absolutely amazing and we would definitely visit again. The home was stocked with everything we needed and the beach was literally at our fingertips and toes. The beach is listed as private but there are people walking it and playing on it all day long so it’s not private. The only issues we experienced were that 3 of the 4 bedroom TVs didn’t work, but we weren’t there to watch TV so it didn’t impact us much. The refrigerator did seem to have an issue keeping the temperature near the end of our stay. The guest house does get pretty hot during the summer months so it’s important to keep those windows open at all times to allow for a breeze as there is no AC. The main house kept pretty cool with the breeze from ocean. Some of the windows don’t have screens so we had a bit of issues with bugs entering the home. It was either keep the windows shut and sweat or open the windows and possibly get a few bugs flying around in the house. But you’re in Hawaii so bugs are expected! The house is pretty old, guessing it was built in the 40s or 50s. Not everything has been upgraded, but we didn’t mind that too much, we had what we needed and we explored the island most of the time. The owners father showed up at the property during our stay which threw us off a bit as we weren’t expecting an unannounced visit. I’ve never had an owner randomly show up during a VRBO stay and it would have been nice to have been alerted beforehand.

Amazing beach house

We had the most amazing experience at this property. The house was extremely clean when we got there. The owner was super responsive. The north surf shop was great for bike ride rentals and very affordable. We were two seperate families( one of 5 and one of 3) and we felt there was plenty of room

Thanksgiving on the beach

Our family had a wonderful at this charming beach house, steps away from Sunset beach.. Location is a quick car ride to everything you need: snorkeling, surfing, shopping, etc. Property manager was very responsive. The TV in the front room wouldn't turn on and after troubleshooting it, there was a new one installed within a day.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had such an amazing stay. Was a little worried about the lack of beach out back but it was actually a blessing because there was very little traffic from the public. Everything was great and we would love to come back some day! Thank you for the amazing visit!

Everything was excellent. The location was right on the beach and the sunsets were gorgeous. The only negative is that we wished that there was at least window units for A/C.

Beach house in paradise

Had an 8 day stay on Oahu at this rustic typical beach house located on sunset beach. There is a front main house that sleeps four and a rear guest house that sleeps four. The ground around both beach houses has been poured with concrete except for one side of the main house has a little grassy area by the outside shower and tap. The property is surrounded by a fence and big gate as well as shrubs and feels fairly private. We had 7 people total and had Plenty of room. Neither home has AC but there are ceiling fans that help and a few box fans when needed. If temps in oahu are 80 and above these houses may be tough to stay in- particularly the guest house which runs hotter since it is further from the ocean. We did fine as our temps ran about 75-79 f. Check in was very easy as was check out. There are adequate kitchen supplies - dishes, silverware, pots, pans, rice cooker, toaster, microwave. Etc. also a few basic spices. Fridge/ freezer with ice maker. The dishwasher was not working while we were there and appears to have been broken since a previous post dated May 19. Washing dishes by hand was fine however…. Least of our worries. The beds in the main house were fine but the twin beds in guest house could use better mattresses. They were uncomfortable. The location of this residence is fabulous. The deck is awesome, the views spectacular and the beach superb. We would most definitely come back to this place again. We left four new boogie boards, a football - enjoy 😊

A great place to celebrate a birthday!

Overall, it was exactly as desired and expected- a private beachfront getaway free from the madness of the resort areas (Au Lani, Honolulu to Waikiki). All needed items are either onsite or down the road at Foodland. This is not a hotel- it’s a home that you will quickly make your own. The only minor challenge was a failure of the dishwasher (with 7 people, we had no issues keeping things washed). The twin beds in the back house could use slightly thicker mattresses (just an observation). Excellent value- we would come back to the property as is and stay for a month.

Great Location

We loved our stay for 8 days and wish we could have extended our trip. We stayed with my sister and her family, 4 adults, and 4 kids. We had a parents house and kids house (ages 15-20). It was a perfect set up. There was plenty to do in the area, but our crew surfed and moved from beach to deck to house freely and happily. It was the vacation we all needed after a long winter.

Beach getaway

House and property were perfect for the 5 of us. The guest house was nice for the kids it gave us a little space. Beach was excellent water was a little rough to walk into but you could walk down the Beach 5 minutes and there was a calmer place to go in. We are beginner surfers so the waves in front of the property were to big for us. Aside from that everything was great.

Loved the deck space … literally on beach!

House worked out great for house! We had a fantastic time even during rainy season. Deck has over hang great for shade and rain. House was fine.. but not really room for 8 people , living room and dining room furniture were oversized and very heavy. Our bedroom had a great view of beach but mattress seemed to be a full while bed it’s self was oversized for room and challenging to navigate around on one side. House was great for 5 of us but would be challenging for 8. Loved our time there … thought this might help a bigger group.

Sound of the Surf

Excellent accommodations for 4 couples in this well-supplied and maintained property. With easy access to snorkeling, swimming, and watching whales, turtles, and world-class surfers, it was a perfect place to relax.

Amazing Stay in Pupukea!

We had an amazing stay at the property! RIGHT ON the beach. We loved waking up each morning and eating breakfast out on the deck and watching the waves, and stargazing at night. House was clean and comfortable, and in an excellent location. Lots of great beaches nearby, good food trucks, and close to Haleiwa. William was responsive and check in was super easy. Would definitely come back!

Pleasant stay on the North Shore

We took our large family to Hawaii for the first time and enjoyed our stay in this house. The manager was very responsive and even gave us a short orientation when we first arrived.
