Our Penthouse Suite at Sunset Serenade is completely brand new as of December 2018. It is very impressive and waiting for you! With nearly 1,000 square feet of outdoor living space, the Penthouse Suite offers its guests some of the very best views on all of St. John.

The Penthouse Suite at Sunset Serenade has an air-conditioned King bedroom, a large bathroom with a walk-in shower complete with water views, a full-size kitchen, and a living space that has a pull out sofa with a Westin Heavenly bed. It even has a dishwasher and washer/dryer, two amenities that are hard to come by in our little slice of paradise! The Penthouse Suite has brand new, chic and comfortable furniture both inside and outside on its three oversized decks. Speaking of the outdoor living space, the Penthouse Suite has incredible daytime and sunset views overlooking St. John and out toward St. Thomas and the surrounding cays - all of which you can enjoy on the deck while sipping on a coffee in the morning or perhaps a cocktail at night. Whether it’s morning, noon or night, we promise the Penthouse Suite’s views will leave you breathless.

When staying with us, you will have everything you need for an unforgettable vacation right at your fingertips. This includes coffee for your mornings, beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler for daytime fun, and comfortable outdoor furniture for you to lounge on at night.

Sunset Serenade has wifi throughout and a large parking area providing ample off-street parking to all guests. It also features an outdoor grill area that is shared between Sunset Serenade’s guests.

Awesome views

The penthouse was as described. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything you needed . The huge deck was amazing and had gorgeous views, especially at night! Being close to town was very nice also! Would definitely recommend.

PERFECTION - Can't Wait to Go Back!

This experience was LOVELY for the two of us! We almost don't want to give away the secret, but these owners and managers deserve the praise! The view and the porch area was amazing, and every detail was near perfection. It almost felt like we were in Greece with the pots and adorable white with blue doors :) It was SUPER clean, pretty, and incredibly well-stocked. They even have extra beach towels, sunscreen and bug spray (don't forget that!). The decor is fresh, and calming, and it smelled like a spa. The interior and exterior lighting was spot on. And the bed? Heaven. The perfect temperature and ultimate comfort at night. The location is literally 5 minutes from the car ferry (highly recommend going on the ferry to St. Thomas in your Jeep), and shops/restaurants. We have been to St. John many times, and this is now our favorite. From check in to check out, we could not have been more pleased. We can't wait to go back! A++++

Great first trip to St. John!

We booked a last minute trip, read the reviews (all 10/10) and were so thrilled with the Penthouse. The view when you open the door is amazing. The outdoor area looks over Cruz bay and is simply stunning. The condo was clean and well stocked with coffee, shampoo/conditioner/beach chairs/coolers etc. It was so nice to have everything right there! The bed was comfortable and towels were great. I love having a washer and dryer as well. The directions in were a little dicey at night but if you put in "island abode" into a GPS, it should take you there. You will want a jeep/four wheel drive. Sue was quick to respond. The island did lose power while were were there for about 12 hours but honestly it wasn't even that hot....The starfish market is very close for groceries, Low Key watersports is a good place to rent snorkling gear and a boat. The Refinery was great food (make a reservation). We loved all of the beaches but our favorites were Moho (for the turtles and fruity drink truck close by) and Hawksnest (for the reef and shady beach areas. Perfectly done.

8TM weekend in St. John

This is a great unit! Location is about a five minute drive from town, high above the car ferry dock, and very close to Starfish Market if needed. It has an extremely large deck with gorgeous views of St. Thomas and the surrounding islands. The kitchen had everything we needed, including some basic supplies (water, coffee, sugar etc) to get us started, which was much appreciated. Beach supplies were also provided. We were sorry to only be on island for the weekend, as this was a great home base during our stay. Would definitely book again!

Amazing property

The home is everything we hoped it would be and more! The pictures are a good representation of this lovely, comfortable home. We loved the breathtaking views and the peaceful surroundings. The home is equipped with just about everything you will need including shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel which was a nice surprise. The kitchen is also well equipped with spices even some condiments. We did lose power for about 3-4 hours due to the rain. It would have been nice to have a lantern, we did not want to use our phones due to conserving battery power. There were a couple of very small flashlights. We went in October which is the rainy season. The sliding glass door near the front entrance leaks pretty bad with the heavy rain so there was a lot of water that came in during the heavy rains. We had to use the beach towels to soak up the water. That was the only issue we had however it would not deter us from staying here again.You definitely need a four wheel drive vehicle to get to this property. We highly recommend this gorgeous home.

Spectacular view of Cruz Bay

From the moment we walked into the Penthouse, we were mesmerized by the view. We spent many mornings and evenings taking in the view while drinking our coffee or enjoying a cocktail. Beyond the view, the inside was clean, well appointed, and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

St. John stay

We had a wonderful 3-night stay in the penthouse at sunset serenades following several nights at cinnamon bay campground. The outdoor space was amazing and so much bigger than expected. The indoor space was clean and spacious and perfect for our family. Pull out worked well for our 9 and 11-year old and the king bed was very comfortable. We weren’t able to walk to Cruz bay but it was only a 5 minute drive so no problem. About 15 minute drive from honeymoon and trunk bay. we grilled one night and ate on the porch to enjoy the beautiful view. Had a visit from a curious orange cat while eating 😍. Highly recommend!

We stayed 6 nights in the Penthouse Suite at Sunset Serenade. The property has great views and a fantastic balcony. It's convenient to restaurants in Cruz Bay and the beach is just a short (and beautiful) drive away. We would love to stay here again!

Paradise Perfection!

This rental was amazing and the photos online don’t do the view justice. One of the most beautiful views from any property I’ve ever seen! The rental was nice and spacious. All the appliances were updated and the house was perfect. We will definitely be back again!

Outstanding

The Penthouse was gorgeous, clean, well appointed and the view was AMAZING! We enjoyed the huge terrace and the views day and night, just stunning. Everything was so clean when we arrived. The home had everything we needed, even a washer & dryer. We made great use of the beach chairs and small cooler, enjoying the quieter beaches of St John. Pieter was available and responded anytime we reached out and was so accommodating. Thank you for your hospitality. We feel lucky to have been able to spend time here and hope to be back soon.

Mothers Day on St John

My wife, 2 year old son and I took the ferry over from St Thomas for the weekend. The place was immaculate and my wife and 2 year old son loved it. Views from the balcony and living areas were perfect. Beach chairs, coolers, noodles and anything you need for a day at the most amazing beaches around. Try them all! We found a taxi right in Cruz Bay upon arrival and stuck with them the entire trip. Worked out perfectly. Jamari with Island Vybz Whipz! Thanks again for the easy check in and check out process. Even offering to get us in early on arrival day after having guests check out the same morning. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Perfect place to unwind

We had an absolutely wonderful stay on St. Johns and in the Fantastic Penthouse at Sunset Serenade Suites. The property was beyond what we expected. We loved the out door living space , the fantastic views and the proximity to town. The inside was clean, wonderfully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to unwind and enjoy the peace and beauty that the island has to offer.

Great place, great stay!

My whole family loved this place! It was clean and the deck was incredible. We loved the fresh air, huge open deck, and everything. Well stocked kitchen, shampoo and conditioner, and we made good use of the chairs, cooler, and other equipment. We'd go back, for sure!

Perfect penthouse!

We stayed here for four nights and wish we had stayed longer! Everything was clean and comfortable. The outdoor patio was a dream-perfect views of Cruz Bay. We will definitely stay here again when we return
