Relax, have fun and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the water’s edge when you stay at Coastal Accommodations. This two bedroom, two bath, ocean view condo is across from the Coastal Access that welcomes you to two of the most beautiful beaches in Southern California: Strand and Salt Creek. Gorgeous scenic pathways make them literally only steps away. Don’t feel like walking? Take the funicular.

Soft, wall to wall carpeting in the main living area and bedrooms compliment eclectic furnishings of traditional and teak with antique accents,

Two garden patios provide a peaceful private setting for quiet enjoyment after a full day of sightseeing, parks, boating, golf or just sunning at the beach or by the heated pool.

The kitchen is fully equipped to serve any occasion and the dining table opens to comfortably seat up to 8.

Coastal Accommodations sleeps up to six guests. Master bedroom is furnished with a king bed, antique bedside tables, ceiling fan, 32" wall hung LED TV, oversized futon chair that opens to twin bed. It also includes a full bath w/ limestone countertops and flooring, and walk out shared patio. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, bedside tables, ceiling fan, 32" wall hung LED TV, a private patio. The full bath is separate, w/ limestone flooring and countertops. Living room offers extra sleeping in a Carlyle convertible custom long queen sofa or oversized twin loveseat.

Coastal Accommodations is centrally located near communities and attractions suitable for all ages and interests, be it cultural, artistic, sports or recreational.

Dana Point Harbor is right around the corner and home to the: Ocean Institute, Tall Ships Festival, Brig ‘Pilgrim’, educational programs, tours, many water activities as well as restaurants, shops, boating, whale watching, Catalina cruises, summer concerts, and more.

Golf is right next door: St. Regis Monarch Beach Links public course (3 min) and the nine hole Aliso Creek (7 min); or pamper yourself at one of the many day spas.

Gourmet, Super and Farmer’s markets, interesting shops and boutiques, as well as innumerable restaurants, from casual to formal are all nearby, each offering their own unique menu that cater to a variety of palates.

This place is the perfect location. Everything was well-maintained and taken care of. There were multiple sets of towels and sheets and plenty of any pot, pan or dish you could need. We had a FANTASTIC time. I highly recommend this condo and would definitely stay again.

Great location

The property was in a great location walking across the road you can enjoy the ocean and watch the waves crash. Walking paths, with amazing Catalina views, stairway close to one if the mist beautiful beaches in the state. Easy walk to restaurants. The condo was roomy and quie, parking was abundant and the pools and Jacuzzi were clean and throughout the complex. Tons of towels and was so well insulated we did not even turn on the heater even though the temperature was quite cold outside. Beautiful sunsets could be viewed by the living room

Nice, well-equipped unit in great complex

Overall we had a very positive 2 month stay in this condo. The unit is very well-equipped with high quality amenities. The unit has great views and is located close to the pool and hot tubs. The complex is great and extremely well located west of PCH and walking distance to stores, restaurants and the beach. The owner was very responsive to having a cable TV box replaced. The only 2 things I would mention are: 1) the flooring is mostly carpeting which may be an issue for some folks with allergies, and 2) the Wi-Fi struggled at times when we had visitors and several devices in use simultaneously. These issues weren’t major concerns for us and we didn’t even mention them to the owner. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Property manager was very nice and helpful. Great location for walks along the beach and restaurants. Condo was well stocked with whatever we needed. Everything was clean when we arrived. The condo is a little tired and needs some updating.

Worn out property

The condo is in a great location. It is tired, needs refurbishing and is in need of a deep cleaning. The carpet is dirty. The blinds should be replaced. Whoever cleaned before we arrived did a terrible job. Dirty frying pan, food in the oven drawer, food under the coffee table etc. We have rented many times and never had these issues anywhere.

Beautiful area.

Everything you need in a VRBO. It has an ocean view and easy access to the beach and trail with magnificent ocean views. Restaurants and supermarkets are 5 min away. The beds are equivalent to nice hotel beds. Will rent again.

Beach Paradise

Anna was very conscientious and accommodating. The lower level condo was furnished very nicely and was both comfortable and practical. Most importantly, the mattresses were in good shape and very comfortable, there was an abundance of new bath towels, equally good hot water and pressure and an equipped kitchen including to my delight, a French Press and coffee grinder. Ocean views from both the living area and the master bedroom as well as private tropical patios. Niguel Beach Terrace is directly across from Strands Beach with multiple beach access points. The complex is home to full time homeowners as well as STVRs (in violation of the governing documents) and monthly renters. The area is very walkable, the Lantern District , Dana Point Preserve, Starbucks, Baby Beach, Salt Creek Beach and the DP Harbor are all within two miles. Ample guest parking, lots of herbs and tomatoes grown around the complex. Bring your streaming device although basic cable is offered. Beautiful sunsets and cool ocean breezes. Enjoy!

Great property!

My family really enjoyed our stay. The owner was wonderful and made sure we were welcomed to a clean and organized condo. The area is outstanding - plenty of walking paths, Strand's beach, and close access to both Dana Point and Laguna Beach. This condo was everything that we were looking for!

Dana Point Condo

Condo rental was A+. To start - the location is amazing, directly across the street from the beach with boardwalk access. You just walk right down the stairs to a beautiful beach. Condo was clean, there was instructions for everything, and plenty of space to host our group. Looking forward to coming back.

Amazing Oceanfront Getaway

The owner was wonderful to work with, and the property is extremely well maintained and furnished. With amazing views from the patio and living room - and even better views just a few steps away, overlooking Dana Strand beach - this was a wonderful place to get away from the polar vortex this winter. There is easy access to Strand and Monarch beaches, Dana Point town and harbor, golfing, Mision San Juan Capistrano and much more. The owner provides a handy guide book with information on local attractions, restaurants, churches, etc. Dining options range from high-end fine dining to our breakfast favorite - Coffee Importers on the harbor. This is a great getaway, and while the pictures are completely accurate - they pale in comparison to actually being there.

We totally enjoyed our time here. The location was perfect. The accommodations were great, comfy beds, fluffy towels, all the little extra amenities were there. The place was very clean. I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.

Dana Point comfort

My daughter and I stayed at this condo for a week. The location was perfect for visiting my son and grandchildren, who live in Dana Point. It was also perfect for a short, lovely walk to Monarch Beach and easy driving distance to Laguna Beach and San Clemente. The condo was well-appointed, quiet, and very comfortable. The only difficulty was that neither of the available DVD players worked. The owner was pleasant to deal with, and I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Dana Point Condo

We spent 6 great weeks in this condo this winter. Anna has thought of everything to make a stay more comfortable. The first thing that greeted us as we walked in was an extensive notebook full of info on the condo and the surrounding area - including places you might want to visit and restaurants close by. The main living area is not huge but was more than adequate for our needs. The dining area has a table that seats 6. We even extended the table with another leaf and had a dinner party for 8 people. The kitchen is not large, but it has everything you need for preparing meals. The cabinets have been resurfaced and all of the appliances were very nice. The two bedrooms have wonderful beds and recently updated linens. Having a king-sized bed was a luxury and it was very comforable. The two bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of room for getting ready each morning. The full sized washer and dryer in the second bathroom were an added bonus. Having a condo on the front of the complex was great as you can see the ocean from the living room/dining room and the master bedroom. Anna's patios are both covered with beautiful plants and are a great place to relax and enjoy the wonderful CA weather. We enjoyed walking over to the park across the street most evenings to watch the sun set over Catalina Island. We also got our exercise by walking down to Strand Beach each morning and walking along the ocean. The sound proofing between condos was very good. We only heard adtivity upstairs the last couple of days we were there when a large group stayed in that condo. We're hoping to stay at Anna's again in the future. It's a great place!

Quiet, convenient, comfortable. A very nice place to stay.

This condo is part of the Niguel Beach Terrace complex which is located across the street from the Strand Vista Park (http://www.funorangecountyparks.com/2010/07/strands-beach-dana-point.html). The complex is well maintained and has a pool with hot tub. Assigned parking spaces mean you always have a spot to park near the condo. A short walk across the street and you are viewing the Pacific Ocean in all its glory. My girlfriend, son, and I just spent a week here and had a great time. If peace and quiet is on your agenda this place has it. If you want to walk the trails on the Headlands or stroll the beach you can do that too. There are also some good waves for surfing or boogie boarding down at the beach. And the city of Dana Point, PCH, and Interstate 5 are only a few minutes away. You are about halfway between LA and San Diego so you can easily cover all of the south coast during your stay. To get to the beach you'll need to walk down some stairs (I counted 164 of them on one climb) or take the funicular (a funny word that means inclined tram railway). The main stairway is open 24 hours, but the funicular and some of the other stairways close at night. There are beach towels in the laundry closet. There is a complete kitchen with dishes and cooking utensils, full linens, bath towels, etc. This condo is very well provided. I found that the couch slept as well as the master bed which is to say that they both slept very well. ;-) I recommend leaving a couple of the windows partially open to enjoy the cool ocean breeze day and night. A nice thing here is that the front door uses a code instead of a key which means no key to lose and everyone can come and go as they please. There is no office on the property so be sure to get the code before you arrive. Look in the drawers in the living area for tourist info pamphlets, etc. and a membership fob for Ralph's to get the "local" prices. There is also a nice folder listing area restaraunts, things to do, etc. This place is certainly on our list of places we would return to.

A Wonderful Place to Stay

My friends and I had the opportunity to spend a week in this condo and to really experience all that Orange County had to offer. The condo was very neat, well decorated and furnished. There were 5 of us and we slept comfortably with the extra linens provided. The fully furnished kitchen, washer and dryer, and two bathrooms, and wireless internet access were very convenient. The location was exceptional, with ocean views and easy beach access, we did not miss a sunset over the Pacific. Hot tub and pool access was a plus, and the complex itself was quiet and comfortable. A well-organized binder filled with restaurants and other attractions was provided and helped us plan our itinerary for the week. We went sportfishing, minutes away in Dana Warf, and spent a day in nearby Laguna Beach, exploring the boutiques and art galleries. We also visited the San Diego Zoo and explored Old Town, San Diego. We truly felt at home in the condo and did not want to leave! We will definitely be visiting southern California again, and we would love to return to this rental.
