Enjoy Gulfview 316 in beautiful Destin. This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit is located on the 3rd floor and offers a view of the Gulf of Mexico coastline. This unit has a queen and a sofa bed and sleeps 4. With 2 TVs, 1 DVD player, and CD stereo system, you will enjoy all the comforts of home. This unit features many recent upgrades, including new flooring, microwave, flat-screen TV and bedding. It is a very nice unit with a great view. Note: Gulfview does not have elevators.

***Please be advised that the pool will undergo necessary plastering maintenance beginning April 1, 2025. The estimated duration of this work is four weeks, with an anticipated pool reopening date of approximately May 1, 2025.***

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 3.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Senior trip visit to Gulfview 316 not impressed at all

I took my son and friends to destin for their senior trip and we stayed at Gulview, where we normally stay, but we we weren't impressed with this unit. The bed was not comfortable at all. The condo seemed very cheaply furnished. Lights and plugs didn't work, dead batteries in the remotes, bedroom TV didn't work, etc. We still enjoyed our time at the beach but it was very disheartening to experience this on such an important trip for us. Ultimately we were reimbursed for our troubles, so we were satisfied with that. We made the most of our stay regardless, but I don't know that we would go back to this unit.

The place

We got there 15 minutes early you wouldn’t let us in. When we got in it stunk. Was not clean. I went out n brought cleaner to clean it. The couch n chair is the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat in. Cabinet doors need fixing. Stove. Not impressed

So close to be being amazing, but…

A great location at a great price. However, this unit and its amenities are showing their age. The pros: location, great AC, plenty of hot water with amazing water pressure. Kitchen was great and the unit was very clean. The Cons: the bedroom was a huge disappointment. The mattress is well past its prime as are the four very small and flat pillows that were provided. To make matters worse, when we stripped the linens as required, one of the pillows was disgustingly stained to an almost dark brown color. The living room was comfortable, but again the furnishings are well beyond their prime. Also, the fold-out couch would have been useless if we needed it as there were no pillows and the provided linens were nothing more than 2 pillow cases for which there were no pillows and two sheets.

Nice place

We did have some issues with cleanliness. They did not have pillows or blankets for the pull out couch. The water pressure was very low. Over all this is a great place to stay. It is very quiet, super close to the beach, perfect for a small family. Very beautiful.

Needs some attention

My husband and I have stayed at Gulf View several times. This is the first time in this unit. The views and location are amazing. The unit was clean. The furniture is awful. The couch was so soiled I covered it with a towel to sit and relax. The chair by the couch was completely broken. The only place to sit was in the eating area. The pull out for extra sleeping, was nothing but springs. Living area just needs replaced. Also, they do not have any extra blankets. The closet In the bedroom has so much stuff belonging to the owner, we had to put our suitcases in the hallway. I would have been really upset if I would have brought an extra guest! This could be a great place but needs some definite attention.

Great vacation spot

5 stars for location. Could not ask for a better view!! Directly across the street from the beach with private access. The condo is super cute, but could use a couple of improvements. A magic eraser and some caulk would go a long way. The extras are minimal. No blankets for couch bed, only sheets.. no coffee filters, etc. The couch bed is not sleepable for adults.. Bring an air mattress unless you want to feel the bars in your back. Luckily our additional guests had a conversion van they were able to sleep in down in the parking lot so we were not super put out by this. Overall, we had a really nice stay, the place was pretty clean, really cute and a great location!!! We would stay here again for the price!!

Great location!

This property was great for myself and two grandkids. The beach was right across the street so it was easy to go back and forth for lunch and bathroom breaks. The condo was well equipped with what we needed to prepare meals. There were a few things that were needing an upgrade like replacement of the bathroom exhaust fan, a loose outlet, and a deep clean of shelves.

Summer getaway

This was a great location. So many restaurants around that made it easy if we wanted to go out. The beach was just steps away which made it simple to come and go as you please. The only downfall that we would have is the beds. We even tried the pull out couch to see if it was any better but both are so stiff. If you enjoy the beach long enough and wear yourself out or drink enough, then that won’t even matter. We would come again!!!

Location was amazing!! Right across the road from the beach gate. View of the ocean from patio was awesome. A few restaurants that were walking distance which was very convenient! Room was decent, had a muggy smell when we first entered, but it was clean. The couch, bed and chairs outside were a bit uncomfortable, but it wasn’t miserable. Perfect room for a couple, we stayed for our anniversary. We were on 3rd floor, and there is no elevators in this unit. It wasn’t too bad, but for someone with a lot of luggage may have some trouble. It was great for us, and we will be back!

Less than impressed

I let a couple things like not being able to access the room until after 4:00 slide even though I had to rush to a wedding. Got stuck and couldn’t get back in from beach with code. The shower curtain though. It had pink and black mold. If you think that’s what I expect to find with the amount of fees that come with these rentals you are wrong!! I took it down immediately. Would you want your daughter and granddaughter bathing in that? Would you shower with that present?? NO!! Very disappointed. They did come into the room and change it. Still. You can’t unsee that.
