When you're not taking advantage of all the fantastic winter slopes of Steamboat Ski Resort, kick back on the suite's living room sofa to enjoy an afternoon of board games with the kids, a favorite movie or show on the flatscreen TV, or, hey, why not a well-deserved nap?! Use the ample counter space and terrific cookware to put together tonight's home-cooked meal, then serve up to six guests at the handsome dining table. This home enjoys private ski lockers, a gas grill, and even heated, underground parking. And during ski season, an on-call shuttle service will take you to all the shopping, dining, and activities the area offers.

The restaurants and shops in the Village are great places to window shop or grab a bite to eat whenever you need a break from the mountain. You can fish and bike along the boardwalk of Rotary Park Boardwalk and you'll have a great hike when you visit Yampa River Core Trail. For even more adventures, take a trip to Yampa River Botanic Park or Old Town Hot Springs.

Dated and Noisy

The location is good for skiing. It is only a five-minute bus ride from the condo. Some things that were left to be desired about this condo as it was is VERY dated. The couches and dining room chairs need to be replaced, as the cushions are beyond flat on the couches and the dining room chairs feel like you might fall through. The kitchen had most everything you would need to cook a meal but the pans had uneven bottoms and had food stuck to the surface but all need to be replaced. The knives were less than sharp, with no way to sharpen. I had a hard time cutting a green bell pepper. The website does not say what is provided... shampoo, conditioner, lotion, blow dryer. The bottles that are provided are refilled. Some were left open and some were crusty. It is not sanitary-AT ALL. When flushing the toilets (or any other unit around this condo flushed a toilet) it was easily heard. In the middle of the night, it would wake me up. The windows are very old (probably original to the condo). If someone is outside talking or a snow remover is driving down the street, it can be heard and is LOUD. The curtains in the main bedroom were see-through. There was nothing I could do to make it private. There were plenty of towels provided, except for the pool/hot tub. This was not on the information packet provided. I would not book this condo again. With the noise and lack of detail with the cleaning, it was not worth the money.

Friendly Services

Loved the place and location, it was cleaned and well stocked with essentials for our stay. The front desk were very helpful, Erik went above and beyond. Most of all we appreciated the shuttle service helping us get around the town.

Great apartment while skiing

We loved staying here for a few reasons: - close to the slopes (plus the convenience of the shuttle) - very functional kitchen (we love to cook) - clean and neat -- you get the feeling that the cleaners really prepare the place for your stay - fast and reliable WiFi - lots of sun in the afternoons - hot tub in the common area Small downsides: - some things in the apartment a bit dated (e.g., frying pans) or a bit broken (e.g., leaking faucet in one of the bathrooms) - check-in process not smooth: we were informed that we would be emailed instructions on how to enter, but instead we had to call the front desk to learn what to do when we arrived
