Immaculate Remodeled 2 Bedroom Ocean Front Condo

This 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo has been fully remodeled and is ready for you to enjoy. The condo is in Royal Garden Resort located in Garden City Beach. The Royal Garden Resort has large outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a hot tub, kiddie pool and bar/grill. In unit washer/dryer.

Come Relax on your large private oceanfront balcony with unobstructed views of the ocean. Enjoy the resort amenities, which include 2 pools (indoor and outdoor), hot tub and outdoor kiddie pool, and cornhole. We have an onsite family friendly beach bar and grill that offers a variety of special drinks and food.
Check-in is onsite for easy and fast convenience. We can provide contact-less check-in if requested.
You are allotted two parking spaces to park in the onsite parking garage. The parking garage clearance is 6’ 8”. There are a few oversized parking spaces based on availability. Guest cannot have golf carts in the parking garage however, there is parking in front of the garage based on availability.
This beautiful condo is 5 miles from the family friendly Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk, close to jet ski and banana boat rentals, fishing, and many more attractions and restaurants.

This was our first time staying at this resort, but we come to Surfside/ Murrells inlet each year; typically staying at Surf Master. Our stay was far from enjoyable due to a few preventable issues. We stayed over 4th of July weekend, and they gave out more parking passes than they could accommodate. The “risk management” people in the parking garage told people “park wherever you can find. It doesn’t matter if you block people in.” This resulted in numerous people being blocked in, and people parking in front of ramps in the parking garage which blocked in entire levels of vehicles. With it being 4th of July, any restaurants within reasonable walking distance were closed. We have 2 young children requiring car seats, so we could not get an uber like we were recommended. However, even if we could, we should not have to pay extra to get an uber due to this place giving out too many parking passes. We were also told we could get a golf cart and receive another parking pass (why continue handing out parking passes when you’re over capacity?). After we left, we called to complain, and we were told “you should have known parking would be bad this weekend.” There is a difference in crowded parking and intentionally handing out too many passes. Our car was stuck for 2 days with no way of getting out. These 2 days happened to be bad weather, so we couldn’t even go out and enjoy the beach or pool. The only good thing I can say of this place is it was clean and in a good location.

Clean Nice Condo

Only things that could be improved on are the towels are more like rags. Thin, small and cheap. Some of the pillows should go in the garbage. Not a deterrent to stay again but we know we need to bring towels and pillows now. No beach towels available.

It is an older resort but nothing along the Grand Strand can beat the views, and every single room has an oceanfront view! The resort has both indoor and outdoor pools,great for rainy days. The proximity to Marshwalk, fantastic seafood in Murrells Inlet, Huntington Beach State Park, putt-putt golf, and Brookgreen Gardens, all places we love to go. Each condo in Royal Garden Resort is privately owned so some are amazing and others are so-so. It was so wonderfully quiet when we went there in the middle of June! We'll be back!

Not close to immaculate

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and view. Pretty decor. Check-in was easy. Not very clean and poorly appointed. Utensils were dirty and there was no soap to clean them. Dirty sponge was left in sink. Trash and sand left on the balcony from previous rental. Trash left in bathroom. Dishwasher was still full. No Keurig and coffee maker didn't work well and kept throwing grounds in the coffee. Unit usually stayed at 73-74 degrees at best.

Would Stay Again

I would definitely stay here again! The condo was beautiful and considerably spacious for my family of 5! I also am very particular about cleanliness and felt this condo was very well taken care of. They had brooms and a sweeper available that I used daily to keep up on keeping the sand out. I might suggest throw rugs or an area rug to help with the sand that gets tracked in. The building itself was fine as well. I read a lot of reviews about the elevators taking too long and not working but never once had an issue waiting for long periods of time and all three operated just fine. Definitely 5 stars for us and can’t wait to return again!

Perfect Beachfront Getaway for Thanksgiving

This was our first time to the greater Myrtle Beach area but we were apprehensive about staying directly in Myrtle Beach. We found this property and it was just what we needed. They were under construction outside so the view below wasn't glamourous but you dont even notice when you are staring out into the ocean. The indoor swimming pool was heated and perfect for my kids who needed to get their energy out. Two things I caution- 1) Bring your own towel (bath and beach) as they only have very tiny white towels that even my 4 year old commented on as being small. 2) Bring your own paper towel and dish washing soap as there were no paper towels and the dishwashing detergent didn't really get the dishes clean. Otherwise it was a wonderful escape and we would definitely consider coming back here.

Great Place with Great Views

We did have a problem with the AC not cooling the unit but the staff was quick to respond and fixed the issue. We also found the tub in the Main Bathroom to be very slippery when taking a shower. Other than these two issues we had a great time and enjoyed the beach every day.

Family Vaca 2022

I’ve been coming to Garden City Beach since I was a kid. We stayed at these condos last year, 2021. We enjoyed it so we booked another. The condo looked recently refurbished and in great condition. New appliances, countertops, bathroom remodel! For us it was perfect, as we literally are in there to eat and sleep. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a nice week at the beach! We will for sure be back!

This condo can take up to 15 minutes to get into because of the lock on the door which is broken. The fridge leaked and left a trail of water through the kitchen. There is a vent cover missing in one of the bedrooms so there is dirty exposed vent system. The wardrobe doors get stuck when you are trying to open them. Tiles in the bathroom ceiling are missing, damaged, dirty and stained. Part of the electric oven doesn't work. To be honest the whole condo needs ripping out and redoing.

Overall "o.k." but needs improvement

I stayed at this condo with my sister and family. Sorry, but the online listing made it seem a bit more high end than it was, in reality. We questioned the cleanliness, especially the floors. Even though they were laminate floors, our feet were all black and made us wonder if anyone had truly swept, mopped, etc. in between renters. First issue we encountered (the first night) was, the sheets did not fit the beds. They were constantly coming off. This could be easily remedied by purchasing deep pocket sheets. I am also not sure if the sheets were even clean (or changed between renters?) because there was sand in each of the beds before we even laid down in them the first night! Towels were tiny and not high quality. No hand towels were provided. And literally 1 bath towel and 1 washcloth per person. They were never changed out either. The tub in the master bath was extremely slippery and had no treads or non slip coating at all. One member of our party took a very hard fall. We wish there had been a ceiling fan in the living room as well as the 2nd bedroom. Unit was stuffy at times. Also, we would suggest doing away with the shutters on the patio doors and installing lightweight curtains instead. Who wants to block any part of the oceanfront view?? Our biggest issue was that of the elevators. On any given day, out of 3 elevators, there was often only 1 that was working. Imagine trying to get down to the beach with kids, beach chairs, etc. and waiting 15-20 mins (minimum) for an elevator. Not fun and the elevator lobbies were extremely hot. There was only 1 elevator that went to the beach level as well and then steps were STILL required to reach the sand itself. On one of the days we were there, that elevator was broken down. Parking here is VERY iffy as well. The parking garage is often full and oversized trucks and SUV's sometimes make passage thru the narrow lanes next to impossible. Parking spots are few and VERY tight. There are numerous minor improvements that could be made to make this a better rental. The elevator though was really the deal breaker and for that reason alone, I cannot recommend this condo nor would I choose to stay there again.
