Perfect stay for outdoorsy family

Perfect 2 level house for a family with teenagers. They had their own space and we had ours. The kayaks were awesome and the array of games even enticed our teens to play with us as well as Mimi ;)

Fenwick Vacation

Our family loved our stay at this property! It was spacious and perfect for my husband and I, 3 adult children and their significant others, and a 2 year-old! We loved all the seating, inside and out. We were thrilled to have use of the kayaks and appreciated the life vests, even for our little one. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. We would definitely choose this property again.

Vacation with our dogs !

The house was so nice. It was very clean with cozy decor . We loved the deck , especially fire pit! The canal is literally right there for kyacking. It is a very dog friendly town. The hosts were so nice and quick to respond. We would totally stay there again !

good stay over all

We had a very good stay over all in the house with our extended family and friends, enjoyed kayaks in the bay, drove to beach every day. The description of the house is accurate, We had a very good time in the house, just a few comments. The house is described as a place for 12 people but it is it rather small for so many guests. The shower on the second level had a really low water pressure. After 6 hours of drive we realized that there was no toilet paper or hand soap in one of the bathroom, no hand soap in the kitchen, and an old dish sponge. So after the long trip we had to go to a store to buy toilet paper and hand soap. Later we realized that both fire pit and grill were out of gas, and after contacting the owner we were referred to exchange tanks by ourselves (we got reimbursement). It is written in the description that towels, linens and paper product are not provided, but this is a first time in my experience renting a vacation house where I was supposed to bring all beach and bath towels, toilet paper, hand soap, all bed linens, beach chairs and umbrellas, and exchange gas tanks. Other than that everything was perfect!

Fenwick Island Getaway

Had a great time with the family. Lots of amazing restaurants and beautiful scenery. Took day trips into Rehoboth and Bethany beaches. Dog-friendly was a huge plus! Owners answered all of our questions and gave great recommendations. We’ve never been to Delaware before but made some great family memories!

Wonderful Direct Bay Access, Super Thoughtful, Welcoming and Responsive Owners

This property is decorated absolutely beautifully and looks very classy giving it a very homey feel. The property owners were very responsive before and during our stay, even sending a firestick overnight to assist with getting a tv to work. They even left a very nice welcome package for us full of so many nice items for adults and kids. This was very dog friendly too with a nice, large fenced in back yard (adorable doggy door access too!), poop bags were available as well, saving the day. It was great having direct access to the Bay with numerous kayaks available, as well as wonderful outdoor seating on a great deck and a firepit with cushioned seating as well. My only complaints are that the pull out couch downstairs was uncomfortable & the place was not very clean. A piece of chewing gum was cemented to the wall outside the upstairs bathroom, we saw a few roaches scurrying across the floors throughout the week and the 1 remote control was literally untouchable, caked with grime. So we did have to do a lot of surface level cleaning in order to feel comfortable, still watching our backs for roaches. I understand being right on the water makes this tough to avoid, but I think a simple extermination and a better cleaning crew will easily make this a 5 star vacation home. I would definitely highly recommend this place and would stay here again, confident that the owners are happy and eager to take any feedback.

We had an enjoyable time.

The property accommodated our family of every age group from age 6 to 86. They particularly liked the kayaks. This was the first time time parking multiples cars was not a problem -which was a big positive. The kitchen was well stocked for all of our various cooking needs.

Beach stay

Everyone had a great week at the house ! The location was perfect, close to the beach , restaurants and the neighborhood was very nice. The house was perfect for our crowd of people in it. We fished and used the kayaks as well. Great week !

Great time!

The house was not far from the beaches with free parking! The kids loved the kayaks, there was a small island not far that they rode to almost daily. Quite neighborhood not far from night life. Great vacation.

Great place to stay in Fenwick Island area!

Our family spent a wonderful week at Edgewater Acres. This property is just a few minutes drive from Fenwick Island State Park, which had clean sand and good surf for kids. Parking was no problem. We really enjoyed kayaking in the canal and the bay. There were five nice kayaks with paddles and life jackets. Our seven adults ate in the dining room and the five children ate at the nearby kitchen table, or we ate outside in the yard or on the deck. We had a big storm one night and lost power, but Darshan replied to me immediately and called the power company. The two kitchens were helpful for storing food for all 4 families, and there was plenty of space for the 12 of us. Thanks for hosting us, Darshan, and good luck with your rental property.
