Once we got there and saw the place we had to step out and buy cleaning supplies to clean the place , it was filthy. The bedding was dirty as well thank fully we brought our own covers and blankets. The worst part was that the “king size bed” was actually 2 twin beds put against each other and they just slap a king size fitted sheet and they probably thought we weren’t going to notice. We are definitely never going back there.

This was a beautiful location. The beach access was easy. There was not a TV in the 2nd bedroom that my kids stayed in and only 4 forks in the unit we stayed in as a family of 5 we just went and bought some plastic forks so that was an easy fix.

Thank you for your kind words, we’re so glad you enjoyed the beautiful location and convenient beach access! We’re sorry to hear there were only a few utensils available in the unit. Had we known about the missing utensils during your stay, we would have gladly brought more over right away. There's no need for you to purchase items. We're always here to ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again in the future!

Ok place.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we went the balconies were closed. I did not know this at the time I booked the place. If I had known I would not have stayed there. When I realized the balconies were closed it was too late to cancel. The place was clean but the furniture was old and uncomfortable.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the unit clean, though we’re sorry to learn that your experience was impacted by the balcony closure and furnishings. As soon as we were notified about the balcony work, we immediately updated our listings and began informing all affected guests, including those with upcoming reservations. We understand how disappointing it can be to arrive and find an amenity unavailable, and we sincerely apologize. We provided options for our guests due to the balcony closures as well. We also appreciate your comments regarding the furniture and will share your feedback with the owner. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.

May Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was pretty clean and nicely appointed. The coffee maker carafe was chipped but usable. The building itself is a bit dated but kept clean. The mattresses are old and not too comfortable. The dryer vents are in drastic need of cleaning. The occurrence that really affected our stay was that while there, the balconies of the building did not pass inspection, and were deemed off limits for use. The access doors were screwed shut. Enjoying the oceanfront view was difficult from standing in the living room. Although there was an apology, there was no offer for an adjusted rate during the inconvenient time.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the condo clean and well-appointed, and we appreciate your comments about the coffee maker, mattresses, and dryer vents, those have been noted and shared with our maintenance tea,. Please know you are encouraged to reach out to us during your stay so we may resolve any issues or concerns for you in real time. We’re very sorry that your stay was impacted by the balcony closure. Unfortunately, this was due to a city inspection that required immediate compliance for safety reasons. We completely understand how disappointing it must have been not to be able to fully enjoy the oceanfront view. We did send out notifications and options to all affected guests at Carolina Dunes as soon as we were informed. We're not sure why our message didn’t reach you, and we truly regret that you weren’t made aware in time to explore alternate arrangements. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to have the chance to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
