NEWLY BUILT Ocean Front Oasis

'Third Day' is custom built ocean front oasis that was finished in July 2020 with five full bedrooms and a nautical bunk room that houses four twin beds. Every space in this home has spectacular views of either the ocean or the sound. 'Third Day' features an attached two car garage with easy, direct access to the house with an elevator that goes to all three floors. The second level has a media room with a pull out sofa, and direct access to the second level covered deck with a beach walk out and surf shower. There are two sound view bedrooms with one queen bed and the other a king bed and both have built in twin day beds. These bedrooms share a jack and jill style bathroom that has two private toilets and sinks, and a shared shower. There are two other ocean front (king) bedrooms on the second level that share a fun hallway bath. Heading to the top floor, you will find a living room and dining room that will seat 10 at the table and 4 at the counter. The kitchen looks out to the fully covered deck with beautiful ocean views. The top floor also houses the owners suite with an extra large walk in shower and deep soaking tub. Note: Third Day does not supply linens for renters! This house was made by one of North Carolina's finest custom home builders and decorated with one of Wilmington's most sought after interior designers. Every inch of this house has had the heart and soul of so many people poured into it. Welcome to 'Third Day'!

This house has everything you want. Space, decks, great kitchen and master bath. We had 7 kids ages 8-15 and 5 adults. It’s a great house and worth the money.

Relax at the Beach

What a great place. Beautiful beach, with plenty of space for our large family. The deck was a great place to relax and chill. Third Day was clean, comfortable, spacious, and fun. We plan on re-booking

Our 3rd Year at 3rd Day!

This was our family's 3rd year staying in this beautiful home on Topsail Beach, and it didn't disappoint! It's a beautiful home with great accomodations for a large family (8 adults and 4 teenagers). The house is well equipt and the location is perfect (especially if you don't want to be really close to all of the traffic and crowds in Surf City in the summer months!). We are already booked for next year and can't wait!

Property was extremely well designed, allowing for privacy as well as group interaction. The views are exceptional and the house had everything you needed. The only suggestion is more rocking chairs on the upper porch. The teenagers had a great time and the adults were able to relax.

Absolute Relaxation

We had the most amazing family vacation at Third Day! The house had everything we needed and more! The kids had the entire second floor to themselves and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing upstairs either in our suite or on the porch swing! The views were fantastic from all of the decks! Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us!!!

Impeccable Home Great for Big Groups!

Kate's home is a true gem! The home was even more amazing than the photos, and we couldn't believe how spacious it was for the number of people it slept. The hallway of bedrooms is genius. We brought lots of teenagers with us and everyone had plenty of room to hang out from the second living room downstairs to the beautiful porches. The beach views are unmatched from the top porch and everything was so beautiful in the home we didn't want to leave! Kate goes the extra mile for her guests, and I was really impressed. When we inquired about the number of beach chairs she even went out and bought more just so we wouldn't have to bring so many! Highly recommend Third Day to big groups and we hope to return one day!

Great Vacation Home in Topsail Beach!

This is the second year our family stayed at Third Day and it did not disappoint! The house is lovely, spacious and decorated very tastefully and with a beachy vibe. Kait the host is fantastic, very responsive and helpful before, during, and after the stay. The check in process is easy and hassle free. The location of the house is great. Our family prefers the southern end of Topsail and it's not always easy to find a larger house to accommodate a large family that is newer and updated. The pantry in the house is awesome and comes with everything you need to cook for a crowd (including a ton of spices, cooking spray, oils, etc.) Two of the bedrooms were updated in 2023 with King beds (vs the queens from last year) which was a terrific surprise for our family! Great privacy on the beach and decks and you can't beat the views of the ocean and sound (sunsets are perfection off the cute little back deck).I would recommend this property to any family looking to stay beachfront in Topsail in a beautiful home and fabulous host!

Fabulous restorative week at Topsail

Our family had such a wonderful stay at Third Day, just what we needed to welcome summer and to bond with our two new granddaughters. The house had plenty of room for our three adult children, two spouses, and the two babies. The view out to the water was so exquisitely peaceful, and we had our family dinners every night on the gracious outdoor dining table on the deck. The house was VERY clean upon arrival, and perfectly equipped for our family of cooks. LOVED the large pantry and fridge, and laundry room too. Kait is a fabulous host, with prompt and gracious responses to my many questions as we were getting ready for our stay. Once there, we never needed to be in touch because the house was so great and the info we needed for getting comfortable and figuring things out were all available at the house. Love the sweet little town of Topsail Beach, with playground and pickeball courts, Lewis Seafood. And we enjoyed a peaceful kayak on the North side with Paddle NC. We hope to be back next year!

Heaven at the Beach

Overwhelmed ! How we felt after we arrived and realized we were to spend almost a month in this gorgeous home with stunning ocean and bay views throughout. Before arriving we had the home’s photos and description memorized, yet we were in complete awe as we settled in and realized all the vastness of the home and the beach right outside our door. During our first week, we discovered one unique architectural design after another. The builder and architect’s plan is meticulously laid out with views of the water, pier, or sky. The phenomenal kitchen had everything we needed. Some favorites were the large pantry, commercial refrigerator/freezer, spacious island, and filtered water. The whole house has high ceilings and large doors with wide openings, but still retains an exceptionally warm and welcoming feeling. All the bedrooms and closets are big and bright. The master suite with sunrise views was especially luxurious. The spacious and well laid out master suite bathroom could be considered a marriage saver! For a couple who likes to have their own bathroom counter space, the layout with sinks on opposing walls was a dream for my husband. Everything about the place is truly classy and convenient, including the outdoor dining space, decks, and firepit area. Topsail Beach is gorgeous and expansive with abundant seashells. Our neighbors introduced us to shark tooth hunting, and even gave us a few of their finds. Everyone we encountered was friendly. We enjoyed walking to the nearby Beach Shop and Grill for delicious takeout. The beach, community park, overhead military aircraft, and ocean vessels were continual entertainment for our grandson. Groceries and unique restaurants are a short drive away. We flew from the midwest to vacation at Topsail, and felt entirely safe and at home here. We appreciated that Kait, the house manager, was a great communicator and was helpful answering questions. We live over 1,100 miles away, but would be thrilled for the opportunity to come back to Third Day at Topsail Beach. MAX stars!

Beautiful property excellent for large families

The house is beautiful and very well equipped. Bedrooms are large and several have deck oceanfront access. Large inviting decks to gather on. Beach is wide and great for walks. We enjoyed it!

Absolute Perfection

Third Day is a perfect house for a large gathering of family and friends. The house is absolutely beautiful and enormous! The addition of the elevator made moving in and out so much easier. We spent a lot of time planning this vacation and had family from Montana, Maryland, North Carolina and New Mexico, and we couldn't have been happier or more comfortable at Third Day. We hope to return next year!

Gorgeous Home

This was our second visit. I can't say enough about how wonderful this house is. It is so well appointed and well thought out for all ages. A few steps to the beach and you're on one of the most beautiful beaches in NC. Don't hesitate to call Kait, she's the most spectacular and responsive owner that we have ever had. Great house, great management.

Perfect large group beach house!

We had an amazing weeklong family vacation at this beach house. The rooms feel spacious, the view is amazing, and there were a lot of small touches that made for a wonderful stay. We hope to book this house for more family vacations in the future!

Best VRBO stay ever!

I cannot begin to list all the reason why this was my best VRBO experience ever. This house was perfect in every way for our family of 18!! We had 10 kids and 8 adults and everything about the stay was ideal. The house had everything you could possible need for a crew of this size on the beach. Not to mention it is absolutely beautifully designed. Can’t beat the location. Steps from the beach and not in a touristy area. Beach was never crowded. Close enough to restaurants , ice cream and play grounds but not in a hugely populated place. The owner was super responsive and very accommodating. I will hands downs pick this place again if vacationing in this location. Cannot recommend it enough!!

Our stay at Third Day

This place is a beautiful home which everyone in our family truly enjoyed. Everyone love the 3rd floor outside deck (porch) with the table. The house provides a lot of amenities, which is very handy. We also left some unopened things in the pantry. A great beach house. We booked it for next year.

Beautiful Beach House!

House is newly built and was perfect for my family and our beach vacation at N Topsail Beach. Gourmet kitchen, bright, spacious space and rooms, and a large back deck (our favorite spot all week) with a bench swing, swinging chair, large table and great view of the beach. I hope to go back next year! Andrew
