Pontos negativos: Check-in
The property was beautiful and very clean. The check in process was terrible. We could not get into the home several times throughout our weekend. We had to call multiple times in order for them to let us in. There were no kitchen towels or washcloths, no Kleenex in the master bedroom, limited toilet paper; lights in the master bedroom and one of the other bedrooms did not work. I requested an early check in and checkout and never got a.response from the host.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you found the home beautiful and exceptionally clean, though we’re sorry the difficulties accessing the property impacted your stay. Our team assisted when contacted, and we are actively addressing the access issues within the home to help prevent future disruptions. Regarding household supplies, our vacation homes are stocked with starter essentials to help guests settle in comfortably, rather than supplies intended to last the entirety of their stay. We also apologize if your requests for early check-in and late checkout were not clearly addressed. Beachwalk Properties maintains standard check-in and checkout times to allow our housekeeping teams sufficient time to thoroughly prepare each home between reservations. This is especially important for our larger properties, where maintaining the high cleanliness standards you experienced and appreciated requires adequate preparation time. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify our policies. Our goal is to provide beautiful, well-maintained homes and a seamless guest experience, and we regret that certain aspects of your stay fell short of expectations.

We had a wonderful time in this home. It was decorated so cutely and had all the amenities - well, maybe bring a few more towels. Plenty of space to hang out and a quick 10 minute walk to the beach. We'd stay again for sure.

We had a long weekend stay with family. There was 12 of us (adults & kids). The house had plenty of room for everyone. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved being able to walk to the beach and downtown shops. Jaqua Realtors were very helpful and responded quickly when we had questions. We would love to stay again next year!

Would Rent Again

From the moment we arrived at the house we knew we were going to have a great week there. It was clean, spacious for our large family, and the kitchen was the best supplied one I’ve ever experienced. The location was close enough to the beach and town that our teens actually wanted to walk places.

Long Weekend in South Haven

We really enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room for a multiple family weekend stay. We enjoyed dinner outside with plenty of room for us all. It was nice to end the evening with a fire outside. A nice quick and easy walk to the beach. There was also so many child friendly things at the house for the kids that ranged from infants to 7 year old.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time and were extremely happy with the location and the beautiful home.. Maybe if under the description of the home you could add that you have bicycles for various ages, sand chairs and sand toys, wagons for travel to the beach, it could save families from bringing theirs. But, this was by far an excellent choice of vacation rentals and we loved it.

Awesome location and beautiful house

This house was the perfect for our extended family with little kids. Kids corner was a short easy walk, south beach and downtown were also very close (we drove because of little kids) and it was an easy walk for the adults. The house itself was beautiful and a perfect space for so many people. The kids loved the basement and the open living room and kitchen space were great for hanging out together. We also took advantage of the fire pit and backyard area with pretty lights. We were so happy with this house and would love to return.

Amazing family rental

We had such a great stay with our family and friends. There were 6 adults and 4 kids (4 months - 4 years-old) and there was plenty of space. It was also so nice to be walking distance to the playground, the beach and town. The house was very well stocked with beach toys, water blow-ups, wagons, bikes, scooters - literally everything you could need (except beach towels - so bring your own beach towels!) The house also has step stools for kids, a high chair, booster seat, some books and toys, a crib and even baby monitors. Everything was very clean and kitchen was well-equipped. Would definitely stay again!

There was poop.I want to be clear about the main issue up front because I don't want anyone to skim this review and miss it: there was a fresh pile of dog (we hope) poop on the bedroom floor when we arrived, along with multiple wet spots elsewhere in the property. If you're thinking, "The house probably just hadn't been cleaned yet," that wasn't the case. There were fresh vacuum lines on the carpet, and the house smelled strongly of Resolve carpet cleaner. The property had clearly been cleaned, AND there was also a fresh poop pile waiting for us in the bedroom.Arriving at a vacation rental at 9:30 p.m. with six kids, finding poop in one of the bedrooms is about as far from an ideal start to a vacation as you can get. The lingering odor made that bedroom unusable for our weekend stay. The property management company did come that evening to remove the poop—with a bottle of Resolve and a roll of paper towels—but there was no meaningful acknowledgment of how this affected our stay. We were told to wait until after checkout to resolve the issue, but by then VRBO was apparently no longer able to intervene. The homeowner ultimately offered a 200 credit, which didn't come close to compensating us for the condition of the property or the disruption to our trip.Everyone can have an off day. What matters is how they respond. Based on our experience, don't expect an ethical or customer-focused response if something goes wrong.

We sincerely apologize for the condition you encountered upon arrival. This is not the standard we expect for any Beachwalk Properties guest. Once notified, our team responded that evening to address the immediate concern, and compensation was subsequently provided by the homeowner. We understand that this disrupted the start of your family’s stay and regret that the resolution did not meet your expectations. Your experience has been reviewed with our team as we continue strengthening our property inspection and guest-response procedures. We take concerns like this seriously and remain committed to providing clean, comfortable homes and professional guest service.
