The Space:

Inn Jameson is a warm, relaxed three-bedroom home in central Fenton Park, built for getting outdoors and coming back to comfort. The heart of the house is the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, where a free-standing wood burner and a heat pump keep things snug on cool Rotorua nights. The galley kitchen has a full electric oven and cooktop, a double sink and plenty of bench space, opening straight out to the deck so the cook is never left out. A glass-wrapped sunroom sits off the living area - a light-filled spot with a solid timber table that catches the sun - and there's a second lounge too, so everyone has room to spread out.



The real showpiece is out the back: a large covered deck running the width of the house, with a translucent roof and festoon lighting so it works rain or shine. Out here you'll find a private spa pool, a built-in BBQ plus a Weber, and a big timber table for shared meals. Beyond the deck is a flat, fully fenced lawn, and a separate double garage with a roller door - ideal for storing and working on bikes.

The Neighborhood:

Fenton Park is a quiet, leafy residential pocket of Rotorua that punches above its weight for location. The big drawcard is how close you are to the Redwoods (Whakarewarewa Forest) - mountain bikers can roll out of the garage and be on the trails within minutes, with the forest's world-class network of tracks right there. Te Puia and the Whakarewarewa geothermal area are just up the road, you're a short hop from the golf course, and the city centre with its restaurants and lakefront is only about 6 minutes' drive.



Getting Around:

A car is handy for making the most of Rotorua, with off-street parking on the driveway alongside the double garage. For mountain bikers, the Redwoods are close enough to ride to directly. By car, Te Puia is about 3 minutes away, the city centre around 6, and Rotorua Airport roughly 11. The town's geothermal and adventure attractions are all a short drive.
