Built in 1890 as the Mayor of Berry’s estate, the home carries a rare sense of history, scale and country romance. Set within Glenworth Estate, the home feels wonderfully removed from everyday life, surrounded by farmland, orchard, bushland, cattle, chickens, creek access and sweeping views across the valley towards the ocean. It is a place for big family gatherings, milestone birthdays, wedding weekends and long awaited time together.



Inside, the house unfolds across two levels with generous living, dining and entertaining spaces. There is room to gather and room to retreat, making it ideal for multi generational families, groups of friends and guests who want the feeling of a shared country house without being on top of each other.



The main living area is anchored by a wood burning fireplace, creating a beautiful place to settle in after a day exploring Berry, Kangaroo Valley or Seven Mile Beach. Firewood is provided, and most bedrooms include electric room heaters for cooler nights.



The kitchen and dining areas are made for group stays, whether you are preparing relaxed breakfasts, gathering for long lunches, or bringing in a private chef for a special evening at home. The house has the kind of scale and charm that makes meals feel like occasions.



Glenworth House sleeps up to 14 guests across six bedrooms. There is one king bedroom, three queen bedrooms, one double bedroom, and one bedroom with four single beds. The layout works beautifully for large families, wedding guests, milestone celebrations and groups of friends.

The Cottage is also located within the wider Glenworth Estate and may be rented or occupied separately. Glenworth House has its own setting, however guests should be aware they are staying within a larger estate environment and some surrounding estate areas may be shared, visible or accessed from time to time.

Berry Mountain gives you the best of country, valley and coast. From Glenworth House, spend the morning browsing Berry’s boutiques and cafes, head inland for Kangaroo Valley’s river adventures and village charm, or make your way to Seven Mile Beach for a swim, surf or long walk along the sand.



Berry is known for excellent food, homewares, produce stores and its relaxed village feel. Kangaroo Valley offers escarpment views, kayaking, bushwalks, scenic drives and a slower country rhythm. The coast is also close by, giving guests the freedom to move between farm, village, valley and beach in one stay.

A car is essential for enjoying Glenworth House and the surrounding region.



The property is well placed for exploring Berry, Kangaroo Valley, Seven Mile Beach and the wider South Coast. Parking is available on site.



Please take care when driving through the estate and surrounding country roads, particularly at night or in wet weather.
