We recently visited this pet-friendly cabin with pond in a relatively secluded area, and it was exactly what we expected from the description and fit our needs perfectly with 3 adults and 2 dogs. There was a dog bed provided. There was a comfortable king bed on the first level and a queen on the second-level loft, where there were several extra single beds in the upstairs loft area. The kitchen had much of what you would have in your own home and the house had great water pressure. The main room had enough room for us all and was comfortable, and they hadbooks and magazines. There is also a sink in the entry room for cleaning up and feeding the dogs. The pond was perfect for our black lab, who swam and played almost every day. There is a trail on the property, and we saw wild blackberries there. We saw a great many damselflies and dragonflies, heard a barred owl one night, as well as other birds.Warning: Do not go down Masten Rd!!! I am pretty brave about driving in rural areas, but highly recommend you stay clear. The owner was easy to communicate with and gave clear directions to the cabin. They had a courtesy bottle of wine on the table and a couple of sample size bottles of maple syrup.
